I had oral surgery to extract 2 wisdom teeth this morning. 20 minutes per side. It was fast, easy, comfortable, relaxing even. Best dental experience ever.

Dr. Matthew Williams and his team were great from the consultation, all the way through my wisdom teeth surgery and post check up. He is very kind, does not make you feel rushed, and explains everything thoroughly. They made me feel comfortable and the staff up front helped take care of all my coverage questions. I would recommend Dr. Williams 100%!

This place has the worst scheduling I've ever dealt with. It has consistently taken 3+ months to get in. Today, my cleaning appointment that I made 3+ months ago was canceled with less than 24 hour notice and the next available appointment they have is with a different dentist another 3+ months from now. I considered switching locations, but the only location in the PDX area taking "new" patients is on Stark and 130th, which is way too far away for me to commute to. I feel stuck at this dentist and now am considering going through the whole headache of switching my entire dental insurance. It's seriously that bad... even before covid. Edit: they called, apologized, but offered no solutions.

Im honestly upset that I have to give a bad review here because the general staff was great. However. My experience with the Dr. Was beyond unpleasant. Not only did he speak to me as if I were a child he only goes in to say his "little help" so aggressively. I had my teeth cleaning and that was less discomforting than him jamming his finger in my mouth. When I couldn't hear him asking me to move my jaw he slapped my chin to move it as if he has the right to demand me to move that way. I told him not to hit my face that way and when he did it again. I was done speaking with him to maintain professional. When I ask for a different DR because of how he made me feel, Im told I would have to do another consult before I can make an apt for my dental work at another office and then book . Keep in mind, most if not all offices are booked months out and I had to take time off of work for this. My choices are to start over, pay yet again or have this DR do my procedure.

Dr. Williams and his assistant Julie T are amazing!! I have anxiety and they put you at ease. He goes over everything and answers all your questions taking his time and making sure you are doing good through out the entire procedure.

UPDATE - Visited the Beaverton location--BEST SERVICE EVER! (Turns out I have a decayed cracked/infected tooth, not a sinus infection ). Dr Yasher and team listened, came up with an action plan and delivered white glove service! As a women of color who has to fight for good service, it was refreshing to be believed and treated with utmost respect. As a benefits administrator, working with brokers to determine company coverage, Dr. Yasher has salvaged my opinion as we head into open enrollment. 6/9/21 Nice people--but be prepared to be told what what's wrong with you instead of being believed about what's truly occurring/addressing your pain. (They are very good at minimizing your pain to see you as quickly as possible to move on to the next patient as fast as they can, while charging you as much as insurance allows = $NumbersGame.) Example of quackery--went in for radiating tooth/gum pain. Dentist took one look at X-ray, banged on my teeth and said I have a sinus infection. (Even though I pointed out I have no co-symptoms, haven't had a sinus infection for over 10+ years and my gums are bleeding.) They gave me a Neti pot and sent me home.) Scheduled teledoc appointment. She laughed until she realized I wasn't joking. Still in pain. Looking for another dentist. Can't wait until open enrollment to drop these losers.

3 years and 2/3 fillings have fallen out. Would not recommend at all. Much better practices out there. Went in for wisdom tooth extraction and ended up getting 6 x-rays and 3 fillings redone FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON.

This place is an absolute joke, needed my wisdom teeth removed, not a single doctor in the state under willamette dental was credentialed to do a wisdom tooth extraction, was told that I wouldn't be seen for over a year

I was supposed to have a minor , "touchup" filling with Dr. Gretzinger and he managed to drill the tooth down to the point where he could barely fill it.He then tells me "oh sorry, you have to get a crown now!". I was not happy! They also have a weird policy where the dentist drills the tooth and the assistant fills it, which explains why the dentist I had was clueless on how to fill a tooth, since they dont do it often here!! With all of the dentists in the area, DO NOT go here...you will be sorry like I was!!

Dr Genzinger, once again was amazing. I was sooo scared to have an incredibly painful molar removed, I was shaking and in the verge of tears just talking about it to the Doctor. Maybe, a small small moment of discomfort which he stop and fixed immediately, to explaining every single step to me. He has treated myself and my daughter. We lost our dental insurance this year but I thought the charges were so fair and I am so grateful to be out of such pain. Thanks again Willamette!! I have never been disappointed. I appreciate you so much. Helen Johnson

Went for a consultation the day before my procedure to prevent my anxiety. Consultation was at 8am- went to my pharmacy at 4:00pm and nothing. I contacted Willamette's Tigard facility at 4:15 and was advised the issue would be passed on to the primary dentist and I would be contacted soon. No word. Called my pharmacy a little after 6- nothing . Called Tigard facility and left a message. Emailed the main dentist who was doing the procedure and nothing. Final call to my pharmacy was at 8:30pm and still nothing. I called and emailed a cancellation notice. 7:00 am the following morning - one hour prior to my appointment I was left a message that they sent my prescription in and should be able to make my 8:00 am appointment. Hmmmm funny, my pharmacy doesn't open till 9. Worse experience and totally disrespectful experience. Did not reschedule, hoping to get a new referral.

Came in yesterday to get my wisdom tooth and the tooth and the tooth right next to it extracted. I had a great experience. The receptionist are kind and welcoming. Dr. Clevenger, and his assistant Sarah are professional, fast, efficient, gentle, and reassuring. I am thankful for professionals like them. :)
