Always a great experience getting my cleaning here. Friendly and professional. They do a great job with my kids as well. This time I even got a window seat looking out into the trees and got to watch a squirrel playing around. Pretty awesome.

Posting this just as a warning to others going here. I had an awful experience with the Lead Hygienist, Najwa. If you are going to this location, I would avoid care from her at all cost. She gave me false information, manipulated the situation, tried to push me to do something I was uncomfortable doing, and ultimately cost me my appointment for today. I later spoke with the dentist who gave me more accurate information about my options and said that Najwa had given me incorrect information and should not have pushed me in to something I wasn't comfortable with. As someone who struggles with anxiety and standing up for myself, I want to warn others that, for your mental health, I would strongly suggest asking for one of the other hygienists. If Willamette Dental Group would like to hear more details of my experience with this hygienist, I would be more than happy to share. Najwa was completely unprofessional, intimidating, and clearly tried to manipulate me using her power/authority position in the medical field.

Botched my claim with Aetna Dental and sent me to collections without contacting me at all.

Well, initial appt. I was a few minutes late. They had no one in the waiting room and what seemed to be a ton of people working. I was told I would get the "full experience" and that the hygeinist wanted to spend time with me since it had been 9 months since my last cleaning. After the doctor saw me, I was escorted up front and told they did not have time for my cleaning. I was told by the receptionist that I would be charged another copay for that visit. I am glad open enrollment is in November. I won't select this group again.

I don't normally review things, but since I am someone who has pretty intense dental anxiety, I know someone will check this review and get the care they need. I've had several procedures done by both Dr. Liu and Dr. Woody. They and the wonderful assistants and hygienists were very kind and understanding. I felt taken care of, and most importantly was immediately out of dental pain afterward. Can't recommend these professionals enough.

Will not honour Dr.Woodys previous work, I got a call back from Dr.Woody's receptionist she said I have to pay out-of-pocket for his mistake because I am in New patient with them. He has moved two different times to new practices, I went in when he moved the first time and I said the bridge you put in is too short so he filled it with a filling and said if it falls out just come back well it fell back out so now my tooth is sensitive to cold I went to the dentist here at home and they said they cannot touch it because it's somebody else's work and they need to fix it because my teeth underneath are going to get infected by the bacteria coming through.Dr Woody requested that I go see a new dentist closer to me. This tooth cost me a whole lot of money. I did receive a call from the manager @his new practice they said that it would be like returning a gift you bought from Target to Walmart. That I would have to pay as a new patient I said but that is the dentist that did this work, can't honor any work that he has done on any of his old patients I guess. The practice where Dr.Woody worked no longer exists.

I had a great experience. After having my mouth savaged by peninsula dental a year or so back I have been scared to go to any dentist but this place was awsome. That staff are all kind and really there to help you take steps to prevent as much damage as they can. The lobby was very clean and kids friendly for those with kids. This place is somewhere I would feel comfortable comming back to anytime.

If you enjoy not being listened to, treated like a number, charged out the wazoo for unnecessary procedures and misdiagnosed, then this is the place for you. Rewind to 2011. I was in the process of finishing my dissertation. My jaw started to hurt so I came in to see if I needed a night guard. The answer was no. Dr. Liu saw me. He said that there was no need for a night guard because I wasn't grinding or clenching. He asked if I was having any more problems. I said that one of my back right molars was hurting when I ate cold or hot foods. He checked it and recommended I get a root canal. After having a temporary crown put in and finally being able to afford a root canal (I had to save up because my dental would only cover half), I was having a root canal. As I sat in the chair, under local anesthesia and with hands and tools in my mouth, the oral surgeon told me that a root canal wouldn't solve the hot/cold issue I had complained about. I gave him a look and he said he would just finish with the root canal, which was pretty painful. I paid for half of this and then fully for the subsequent permanent crown. It was a completely unnecessary root canal/crown process. I was upset, wanted to leave as soon as possible, but didn't have the money left to see a new dentist - but I did want to prepare for that for the future. I asked for all of my records and they said it would cost me more money to have them copied. In tears, I told them no and walked out. Fast forward to present day. I've since moved to Seattle and have a new dentist, who had a very difficult time getting my records from this place. I found out about a year ago that the area had an abscess where the root canal had been performed. I had to have a tooth implant done, which of course, is only covered 50% by my insurance. There are three stages: pulling the tooth/rebuilding the bone underneath, installing the socket, and finally installing the screw/crown on top. I'm through stages one and two. When I went in to have the third phase done, guess what my new dentist, who is awesome, said? It was an unnecessary root canal AND I need a night guard because I've been grinding/clenching for some time now. So I'm in the process of having all of this done now with my new dentist, even though I asked for it SEVEN YEARS AGO. If you like your dentists to listen to you, don't enjoy unnecessary operations, and generally like people being nice to you (especially when you are nice to them or visibly upset), do NOT waste your money or your insurance company's money at this horrible place. This place should be shut down.

I returned to Willamette Dental Group after having a bad experience with another dentist in Port Orchard. This is the best dentist office I have ever been to. Scheduling is effortless, availability was great, and there was virtually no wait time to be seen. They truly stick to the least invasive treatment options, which is great for lifetime oral health and saving money. The dentist also took the time to explain everything clearly and concisely. I didn't feel rushed or pressured into doing anything that wasn't absolutely necessary. You' be crazy not to pay this office a visit.
