This office has been hit and miss for my family! The worst dentist is Brimhall, he does not meet the standards of care. He started a root canal on my 12 yr old daughter we had several follow-up appointments, non of which were to finish the root canal- now we are back with an infected tooth! He basically blamed me. Not sure how since he is the one that does the treatment plan and failed to finish this!! I will be changing dentists at the beginning of the year. I have never ever had such terrible care!! The office ladies are sweet but the dentist is terrible!! More like a number than a person!! While sitting here with my daughter they proceed to tell me it's my fault.... we have been here numerous times since the original root canal was started. How can this be my fault I am not a dentist.

Worst dental office ever. The staff is nice at first but when you ask a question they are quick to get rude and defensive. I need to have a tooth treated and instead of answering my questions for ongoing issues since they refuse to treat it, they continue to yell at me and tell me the same thing. If you're trying to chose a dental office... don't chose this one, unless you want busted teeth that fall out and dentists that are rude and staff that tells you they can't help you.

The absolute worst office communications imaginable. God help anyone trying to make an appointment or reach the actual office. They are buffered like the CEO of a fortune 500 company. This is clearly a move designed by the insurance company to delay or eliminate appointments, and to save on labor. Mission accomplished. Customer blocking protocols successfully implemented. Now, hilariously, they give me the number for an out-of-state call center to discuss my issues with not being able to reach their office and having to go through the out-of-state call center! GENIUS! Of course, if you are duped into calling them, they will leave you on hold for ten minutes then say they are getting an unusually large number of calls and will call you back. Followed by the dial tone. Followed by no call back. Followed by excuses.

Avoid this practice if at all possible. They can't book and keep an appointment time. Double or triple check and call to make sure you're scheduled at the time they told you. We are counting down the days until we can go anywhere else. It's been the worst service and customer experience of any dental place we've ever been to...

We switched to Willamette for cheaper braces for kiddo. What a mistake. Contradictory information, unnecessary appointments (things can be consolidated), and an overall unprofessional atmosphere. It feels like a dental school for flunkies with no professors anywhere in sight.

This is the best dentist ever! Willamette was my dentist in Tualatin Oregon and I loved them and now here in Meridian and I love them just as much! I can usually get in right away when I call for an appointment but if I do have to wait it's not bad and if I have an emergency like tooth pain they are very good about making room on the schedule. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Today was my first visit to the Meridian location and I was in and out in a timely manner and a bonus to this visit...my dentist is super cute! Put your trust in Willamette dental..you and your teeth will be glad you did!

Three and one half years ago, I had a root canal done at this dental office. Throughout the process, I knew something was not right. I had a terrible taste in my mouth for six weeks and my tooth was tender to bite on. I went back twice sharing my concerns only to be told that everything was fine. I was made to feel like it was "all in my mind". Over the years, my tooth remained tender and I learned not to bite on that side of my mouth. Yesterday, after weeks of pain, my tooth had a second root canal. The specialist saw that the original work done by Willamette was not done properly, with two roots completely missed in the procedure. For three plus years, my tooth gathered bacteria and infection. Yesterday's procedure cost me $1840. I am angry and frustrated that my issues were not addressed and this tooth cost so much pain. If you read the response below, it looks like Willamette might be willing to talk about the issue because the response invites me to call and discuss the concern. So I tried the number only to be told that this is a canned response and they really can't do anything about my concerns. I guess they think it makes them look like they care. Horrible business response.

By far the worst dental facility. Just like many of the other comments, they only care about the money and not the patients. I told the dentist I've been experiencing pain from my wisdom teeth and one of the dentists simply said that they won't need to be pulled another year. I go in a month later because my wisdom teeth are bothering me more and occasionally getting infected around them. My x-rays show impaction and yet another dentist that works there still tells me they won't do anything unless their oral surgeon says otherwise. I then asked for a referral from their oral surgeon. They told me they'd call me in a few days max to let me know but they never called. I called them and they said their oral surgeon wasn't in. It's BEEN over a month and I never got a call for a referral. I've asked my sister who is a dental hygienist that works in Washington, and she showed her head dentist my x-rays and they don't understand why Willamette won't take out my wisdom teeth. Needless to say, I'm concerned that Willamette doesn't have the competency to take out my teeth, that have been bothering me for months, and I will definitely be getting a different dental provider.

They do really short cleanings and now tell me Blue Cross is only covering 1 cleaning a year when they have always covered them twice a year. This place only does the barest minimum, don't go here.

Patients are not the number one priority of Willamette dental! The money is! I make a monthly payment and pay for their member insurance monthly and I'm not late and not behind but they still hound me every time I talk to anybody in the financial office the dentist office or at the front counter at an appointment. The actual dentist that I see there is great.

I have been to their Boise office before, but this was my first time at the Meridian office. From the moment I walked in the door, I had a great experience. Everyone was very nice, the office is clean and they take appropriate measures for Covid. I went in as an emergency so was very anxiety ridden, in pain and not knowing what I could afford at the moment. Britney, my dental assistant, went above and beyond by getting me a payment plan worked out and Dr.Armstrong was fantastic! He answered my questions and made me feel at ease during my procedure. It has been 5 days and it is healing up very nicely. I highly recommend this office and especially the team of Dr. Armstrong and Britney!!!

I do NOT like to go to the dentist but, this place is amazing! They made me feel safe, comfortable and they treat you like you're a good friend. Kevin in Meridian, Idaho, is the guy who gave me the shots to numb my mouth, was by far the best at what he does! He was amazing! I hardly even felt the shots! He has a great personality and answered every single one of my questions. He knew I was very nervous and he calmed me down and helped me thru it. The Dentist I see is also great!! The rest of my family agree with me Willamette Dental Group are the best!!! Thank you! Brenda W.

I knew I had a great dental hygienist, but when he and his son helped me out when I was stranded up on a rugged road above Idaho City in October, I knew he was an exceptional person as well. Thank you, you know who you are!

Freddy who I believe was the dental assistant was amazing! I had a little guy who was needing a cavity filled. He was so nervous! Freddy went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable. He explained in detail what was going to happen, answered questions, then continued to encourage him through out the process. Our dentist was great too! The dental hygienist may have not been aware that our little guy was so nervous but checking in and talking through the process would have been helpful. Copay was $20.00 and insurance was billed $420 ( around there) I'd say that was a sweet deal!

I developed an abscess tooth and needed to get it out ASAP. The friendly staff helped me greatly and I have much less trepidation about visiting the dentist thanks to their helpfulness!

I chose Willamette Dental because, I thought it would be cheaper to have braces placed on my daughter through them. I am a full time student, and a single mother, and only work part time. Braces are cosmetic, but my daughter was very self conscious about it. So I decided to go with Flex Payment. In the long run it probably came out to be about the same price as paying out of pocket or more compared to another orthodontic . Because, I had to drive from Nampa to Meridian. Traffic is crazy, they never have appointments available that are convenient for one. Two, you need a referral to see and orthodontics, 3rd, you have to pay a co-pay each time you go in. It just seemed that they would never work around you. When I had braces, my ortho would set up a time and if I ever needed to reschedule they would get me right in. No penalty fees, no co-pays, always willing to work with the patient and certainly not have to go 2 or 3 months out for an appointment. Willamette Group was so strict on everything, they took forever to give me the referral, so I had to pay for an extra year of co-payments and insurance. I look back and think that I should of just stayed with someone local, and payed out of pocket. it would have saved me gas money, co-pays and the hassle of working with them. I would never recommend this group to anyone. They also recommend cleanings once a year, plus a co-pay to have it done. Now I am out 2 years plus, she should have had her braces taken off a few months ago. I understand COVID hit, but the rescheduling was a huge hassel. I work In the medical field and that is just not how we treat our patients here. For the new year, I plan to go elsewhere. Well I was hoping I would. I just called to schedule for her " I think last appointment" and they want to go out till Feb 2021. With that being said I would have to renew my dental insurance with them for another full year. This is unbelievable. Especially when I told them that my insurance would be ending in December.

The staff is very friendly, but the process if you have a situation that needs to be handled quickly is lacking. I had 2 doctors appointments(with 2 different doctors) over 2 weeks of pain to only get referred to a specialist (in there office) that I have to book another appointment with, all dealing with the pain. I just talked with the office to book that appointment and they cant get me in to him for more than 3 weeks. As a business owner that offers this to all my employees, I will be pulling our company out of this program.
