Get insurance through these guys and you won't be disappointed. They go above and beyond for their insurance carriers to make sure they are happy and have a healthy smile. If you end up not happy they will make it right. Would definatly recommend Willamette dental to anyone looking for quality service at an affordable price..

Went into the dentist and saw Eggertsson in November for clicking in my jaw and had the dentist recommend wearing a night guard and reviewed how to use over the counter ones. I also mentioned that my mom and sister had clicking in their jaw before getting their wisdom teeth removed, and was told not to worry about my wisdom teeth. Skip to a week later, and my jaw is locked. Skip to January when the physical therapy referral goes through. Weekly physical therapy, not covered by insurance. Now we're at the end of March, went to the dentist again and saw Dr English...and guess what? I need my wisdom teeth out! Literally thousands of dollars in physical therapy later, and it's exactly what my mom thought the issue was. Absolutely terrible and I can't switch dental clinics because my work insurance is only for Willamette denta Update - I contacted member services as suggested and there is a review now that will take 30 days to complete. We will see what the outcome is. Update #2: after waiting for my consultation with the specialty office with my wisdom teeth that was supposed to be today, they call me last night and cancel, say they won't see me, and are referring me out. To somewhere that is booked out over a month in advance. Why wasn't I referred there in the first place? This issue has been going since the end of November and now I still won't see someone that can help until end of May!

On previous appointments, staff was professional and service was quality. This most recent time, after a few years since I've last been there, front office staff was invalidating and chose not to problem solve. They lost my records and were demeaning toward my nearly adult daughter. It felt very ageist. It was a drastic difference from my last experience. The X-ray tech was great. She was the same staff as last time. Keep her! My hygienist talked a lot, to be helpful I'm sure, but a no talking chair would be preferred. My doctor was professional and courteous. Dental service was on par with expectations.

I have had such good experiences with this dental group. I used to be somewhat fearful of the dentist, but my experience here has helped me to move past it. They really empower patients to be a part of the care process.

Pretty bad experience all around .. it all started with the initial phone call to book appointment, I had never been and was a new patient and wasn't sure which dr to choose , the lady on the phone booking suggested Dr Gil " because she is super cute and the only doctor that's not from another country " , I thought that statement was pretty unprofessional. So they booked me in and I got a appointment a few days later. I had been really anxious about the appt and stated that when booking the appt. I have Had bad dental experiences in the past and had not been in 10 years to the dentist so the day appointment my anxiety was high. They did a few X-rays then brought me into the to exam room, where they took my blood pressure before they did anything , of course my blood pressure was high. The Dental assistant then told me she would have to speak to the dentist to see if I could be seen since my blood pressure was high. The dental assistant then comes back and states " Dr Gil does not feel comfortable seeing you because you have high blood pressure so you will need to get a medical clearance to be seen here" she was extremely cold , she basically made me feel like I had an infectious disease and that I needed to leave immediately. I found it super cold that the Dr Gil didn't even feel comfortable coming in and talking to me because my blood pressure was high . It was high because of situational anxiety which I am sure others experience as well. I appreciated the concern of the blood pressure and I did check with my dr in regards ( mind you I am in my mid thirties )I however i will never go back to willamette dental or suggest them to anyone , especially my coworkers who have them as a option for dental insurance. They really need to work on professionalism and also a dentist that hides away and sends the hygienist as a messenger instead of actually talking to a patient that is nervous and worried tells a lot about there true character.

BEWARE! I have had never had worse medical/dental treatment in my entire life. I came to willamette dental with pain after a filling. I had recently changed jobs and insurance so I was a new patient with an existing condition. I was in terrible pain and could not focus at work. Dr. Tolmach told me it was TMJ and we needed to treat that before anything else. She had me go to a pharmacy and buy a mouth guard and told me to "reduce my stress". That was the treatment. It was not TMJ. The dentists did not listen to me and through negligence allowed a tooth infection to spread to the jaw bone. I had to go to urgent care twice and spent hundreds of dollars. Later, after performing half a root canal, they told me they could not recommend a specialist to finish the procedure until I had a new patient exam. They literally did a cleaning, scraping and new patient exam while I had a visible abscess in the x-rays and an infection in my jaw bone. If you want to be ignored, belittled and treated like you don't matter, Willamette Dental is the place for you.

I would highly recommend NOT visiting Willamette Dental Group. At first I was so excited; they were able to get me in for a cleaning and check- up last minute, they told me my insurance covered everything, and that my teeth even looked great. 2.5 months later and I get a bill in the mail for everything that I was told was covered with the insurance I pay for each month. I call my insurance company and they tell me I'm actually not covered at Willamette Dental Group. I'm incredibly confused at this point so I call on over to the location I got my cleaning done in Eugene. They then proceed to tell me that I'm not covered at their dental office. I needed to have Delta Dental Exclusive, not Delta Dental PPO. This is frustrating because they told me over the phone, and twice in the office that everything was covered with insurance. A month after receiving this outrageous bill and feeling deceived, one of my teeth breaks! 1/3 of my tooth is just gone. These people told me my teeth looked healthy and now I'm having to go back to the dentist to get this fixed. What started out as a simple check-up turned into a nightmare of phone calls, bills and a broken tooth. Do not trust this company. They appear friendly and helpful, but it's all just a facade.

This is a horrible dental office. I went to them twice for the same tooth pain. They took to many xray's so my insurance would not cover. Ripp off and horrible customer service. I went to another dentist and they took one free X-ray and noticed I just needed a root canal and I was out of pain in an instant. Do not go to this office!

Get Dr. Finn if you have dental anxiety. They'll take care of you! Also, he gave me a filling on a front tooth and matched the coloring perfect.

This was hands down my best dental experience i've had. The staff was helpful, friendly, and understanding. The dentist didn't nag me about my teeth like most dentist do, he was just concerned with making me feel better. Also I got an appointment the day I called because I was in be pain. 10/10!

I went in for a teeth cleaning and x-rays. It went by quick and the staff was friendly and respectful. They answered my questions and I learned a bit about dental practice. I do have PEBB so my copay was low. I did have to wait a few weeks from when I scheduled to get an appointment. Seems like this place is booked full.

We originally went to this place because my son and I were patients and we never had complaints. They are a good office and get to know their patients. Even though my son had Aspergers, they were able to work well with him and earn his trust. So when my son started having problems with his jaw hurting we took him in to get X-rays and see if maybe something was wrong with his teeth. It was Dr. English at this office in Eugene who was honest with me and told me the X-rays showed nothing and that I should take him to his doctor for further examination, specifically to rule out cancer. Well, say the deadly medical "C" word to a mother and my phone call to my son's doctor was made before I even left the office! And you know what? She was right. It turned out to be a very fast acting cancer that, had Dr. English not sounded the alarm for me, would have gone on unchecked for longer and may have not been as easily treated with one set of 8 months of Chemo. He has been cancer-free now for 10 years. I am forever in her debt for being able to be both professional and yet see things from a mother's perspective in order to give me the right information in the right way to be sure my child lived. You will always have a special place in my heart for you Dr. English.
