I haven't been to the dentist in a long time, and this place and staff made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. Thank you Sarah for doing such a great job on my teeth.

Had a scheduling snafu but they still worked us in. Amazingly friendly and accommodating staff!

I'm a very nervous person (particularly when going to the dentist). In fact, I had recently just seen by Dr. Shaw at the Coeur d'Alene location, and he worked really well with me, keeping me as calm and reasonably relaxed as possible I didn't have any residual soreness, and in all , the entire staff was wonderful! It seems like their office is always full, and it takes a lot of time to get an appointment, but for the compassion and quality, this practice is worthy of all 5 stars

I have very mixed feeling about this place... The last dentist I saw here and his assistant were amazing, they get a 5/5. I also really like their predictable and transparent pricing structure, that's a 5/5. However, they are notoriously far out to schedule with, so a procedure is going to take way longer than expected if there are multiple steps involved. 2/5 for scheduling timeliness. The first time I went in this year was when I broke a crown and the assistant told me that they wouldn't fix it until I do a cleaning and other work first... 0/5 for her customer service. I shouldn't have to jump through hoops to get an immediate need fixed... The dentist did eventually approve the procedure, but I really had to advocate for myself. Also, their call system is the worst for busy people... You're often on hold for 5 or more minutes before you can even talk to someone, and the person you get just transfers you to another person who will usually tell you that someone is going to call you back anyways. If you work a normal daytime schedule and are not always available to be on your phone, this is less than ideal... and gets really frustrating really fast when trying to play phone tag since there is no option to call them directly and you have to wait on hold every time. I give a 0/5 for their phone tree system. If I could offer a suggestion to this business, it would be to offer a text line or an email option for established clients who don't have time to play phone tag, those who just need to ask a quick question or are wanting to contact the office directly. Client phone numbers are logged with text, so the identity is easily verified and it's just much easier to give and gather info for everyone involved. There has to be a better solution than what is in place there now.

Been going here for years and bringing the whole family. Staff is nice but the amount of care they put in to your actual dental needs is poor. I was told by a previous dentist I needed 4 crowns. When going to Willamette they said they weren't necessary. My 5 year old son has been getting his teeth cleaned and checked here as well and they neglected to mention he has hypoplastic teeth. Went to a new dentist office for a second opinion and they couldn't believe the lack of care that was provided. They clean teeth, and that sums it up. Very disappointed. Always get a second or third opinion.

I think I'm going to be looking for another dentist this year. 3-4 years ago I was happy with this place but progressively they've gotten worse. This past visit was the coups de grace which I will list in order. They are still forcing masks...at a dentist office......Which isn't a huge deal but come on people the hospital isn't requiring mask anymore.... They insisted on separating me and my daughter during x rays.....don't take parents from their kids, especially if their uncomfortable with it. They referred to my daughter as "they" multiple times. She is a little girl not multiple people. I'm not going to participate in word games. We were there for a yearly cleaning and the hygienist was busy for maybe 5 mins at best and I didn't feel she was very thorough. The one good thing I can say is the dentist we saw was knowledgeable and took time to answer my questions.

Michelle who cleaned my teeth knew I was having a bad day. She went above and beyond to make my day. I was definitely in a better mind space when I left. Thank you so much. Such a wonderful team.!!!!!

Wow! What a treat yesterday. I had the privilege of being seen by Dr. Shaw & his hygienist Mandy. Long story short, I joined my husband for his appointment yesterday and Dr. Shaw was able to see me at that very moment! What a blessing for a dental office to get in with no notice.

I have had a good experience with most of the staff at the cda office however the experience my child had with the orthodontist team tonight was VERY disappointing to say the least and the call I had with the ortho hygienist after sealed the deal. Rude and so unprofessional I am considering cancelling my insurance with them because of it. No child should leave an orthodontist appointment in tears and when you call to talk about the situation you should not be treated rudely.

I have never experienced a dental office with such a gross lack of communication and organization. Don't go to them, they are horrible. Receptionists have absolutely no organization. I called and made an appointment and when I did that, I set up my account and the lady I was talking to said my insurance was set up and I was good to go. There was a cancelation for the next Monday, but after that, I wouldn't be able to get in until July, so I took the short notice appointment and let my office know I'd be stepping out. They asked me to come in two ours early to accommodate for the appointment, so I did. Well when I got to the dentist on Monday they said "we can't find your insurance" and I had to reschedule my appointment. It would have been so nice if they told me they were having troubles before I showed up, it is is so inconsiderate and unprofessional to wait to inform me of that until 15 minutes before the appointment! I left Willamette and contacted my HR to figure out how to fix the problem. There was no problem, my insurance absolutely was set up. My HR lady gave me my group number and I called Willamette back. They said they finally found my insurance information but they needed my office to submit something before it could be finalized, but they didn't tell me what that was or how to request it. So now I have to wait until July to get in and hope that the insurance issue gets resolved. They didn't even apologize, the receptionists acted all cheery through the whole thing and didn't offer any sort of consolation for the inconvenience and frustration their incompetence caused.

So disappointed in the quality of work done here. I went in a few years ago and needed a crown and a root canal on teeth #1&2. Since then, For the last 4 years, every 6 months, the crowns have either broke or fell out. I finally switched to another dentist and they needed to do an implant on tooth #1 because the crown broke and took half of my Remaining tooth with it. While I've been waiting for the implant crown, to be put in, the crown on tooth #2 has a hair line fracture and I can feel cold sensation. Very frustrating situation.

I was lucky enough to be schedules with Kayla as my hygienist. She was super polite, explained everything she was doing and gave me good tips on what I can do to help me keep my teeth healthy! Dr. Shaw was also extremely nice and personable. It was a great experience and my teeth feel cleaner than ever

Call center is horrible. Sons appointment was cancelled without Evan a phone call. Can't get appointments scheduled. No answers. Had this issue years ago with Willamette Dental. Was told how things have changed before I enrolled in their dental insurance. Not impressed!

The Receptionist was friendly who checked me in. :) My Dental Hygienist Corby, She was friendly and so gentle cleaning my sensitive teeth and no painful Zingers! :) My Dentist Perry was so kind and helpful and I liked that he would suggest easy treatments that weren't too expensive and if I really needed it or not. :) My Care Adovocate Amy, who took my payment was friendly as well. :) I was very pleased with all of them today and going to the dentist isn't as expensive as my other place was. Thank you all of them and see ya at my next cleaning. :) Maralee :)
