Doctor young is very rude. He's very cold, distant and impatient. I have intense anxiety and rather than listening to me, he proceeded to continue and I was not numb. This happened on two separate occasions. When I had a panic attack, he yelled at me to breathe through my nose and continued to yell at me when I was continuing to panic breathe through my mouth. He is by far the rudest doctor I have come across and his dental staff isn't much better. I thought Becca was really sweet at first until she got super rude and cold with me on the phone. Start treating people like people not dollar signs. Listen.

My son's spacer fell out and I called and explained specifically that we need an appt to put back in. Once we came in, expecting to have it put back in, they made us come back three times and billed me each time. It was so much wasted time with little results. Most likely will not return. Less than a year since it's been put back in and it's loose again. My other son chipped his tooth and it was infected before we could get it taken care of. The fact they must refer out is a big hassle as well.

The quoted me 2 prices. 1 to pull a molar and 1 for a root canal and cap. After having the root canal found out the 2nd price was actually JUST the cap otherwise I would have had the tooth pulled. Then they charge a separate $20 office charge EVERYTIME you have to go in thru the same procedure? $80 JUST IN SEPARATE OFFICE CALL CHARGES FOR WALKING THRU THEIR DOOR. I would bag the cap but the tooth is so sharp after the root canal it cuts my tongue.

This was my second time coming to this location within a 2 year span and I had another great experience! I went in for standard x-rays and cleaning; it was such a fast process, I was in & out, feeling squeaky clean. The energy in the office from the front desk, assistants, hygienists, and doctor were all extremely friendly. My cleaning was one of the most gentle cleanings i've ever experienced (and did I mention it had been 2 years!)

Friendly helpful service. My visit was a pleasant one, or at least in terms of how visits are in a dentistry.

The dentist cross contaminates between patients by not practicing proper infection control procedures. A simple act of changing dirty gloves was not done, which makes me question what other procedures are not being followed. I have personally worked in the dental field, and it's quite disgusting that they can't follow proper infection control procedures. I think taking some time to slow down instead of rushing through things would really help this office out as far as not missing simple steps. I was also misdiagnosed here with several "small cavities," went to another practice to get a second opinion and was told I have zero cavities. I did go to get a cavity filled and come to find out that was a complete chop job, again taking time instead of rushing probably would've helped. Turns out I actually needed a root canal and crown, and the filling that was done wasn't even level. The tooth was extremely inflamed and the dentist failed to even catch it. I had to suffer with a sore tooth for months because of the complete disregard for what actually needed to be done on the tooth. I have to question whether or not the dentist even knew what he was doing or looking at because a couple thousand dollars later at a private office is frustrating when the tooth was supposed to have already been treated by Willamette. I highly suggest saving yourself the headache and stress of coming to this office. It'll just end up costing you more money because the dentist seems to not care about patient care here, unless it was just a personal thing against me. Either way, this office was the worst dental experience of my life.

Called for an "emergency appointment" and waited several hours to be seen by the dentist who confirmed that I had fractured two (2) teeth but would not treat me the same day. In fact, I couldn't get an appointment to fix the issue for a month?! Pain, unable to chew on that side of mouth and trouble sleeping ... and had to wait a month to get in for a root canal! Update: Got in a week early for the root canal. I think they currently only have one dentist in the office which is making getting an appt very difficult and Dr Young was certainly very busy. An unexpected downside of Willamette insurance, but root canal was definitely reasonable, even if if the wait ... painful. Crown 3 months later: Fractured teeth mid-Jan, Root Canal Feb 19, Mar 24 had to go to a separate appointment just to scan the tooth that already had a temporary on it ... Finally getting my crown put on Apr 14?! Everyone has been very nice but I've had to go to myriad appointments and it has taken 3 MONTHS TO GET A CROWN?!

Called while in pain. No answer for 20 minutes and I was the only caller. On Google it states they are open until 5:30pm on Saturdays. NOPE! They lied on their hours.

Hadn't been to a dentist in 13 years. Was a little nervous about getting exrays and ect. The staff and doctor made me feel right at home. Explained in detail about my teeth and what needed to be done and the cost. Great experience!! Going back for fillings, tooth extractions and bridges. Not worried about it at all.

Just took my daughter there today! She is 5 years old and we kinda needed an "emergency appointment" to get her teeth checked so they got us in today. The dentist assistant was great and very patient during my daughter's x-ray since it was her first. The hygienist was awesome. Very nice and polite. The reason I am giving it 1 star is because of the dentist. I believe his name was Trevor (when I made the appointment they said he is a traveling dentist) and seemed like he had just woken up from a nap. He got in the room yawning and every comment that my 5 year old would make he would roll his eyes. Very rude! He literally did not want to be there. We are definitely switching to a different dentist through our insurance. Do not go there if you don't want to feel like you are no one, because that's the feel that that dentist left me with.

After an incredibly terrible experience in my youth, I have always had severe anxiety about going to the dentist. I have a baby tooth without a permanent tooth underneath that needed a pulpotomy or an implant. Both options were presented to me with transparent cost and "treatment lifespan" at the time of my annual cleaning. I obviously don't have $4,000 for the implant, but was able to get the pulpotomy a week or so later which should hopefully last a few years until I can better afford the implant, which will ultimately be the long term solution (as every dentist before has told me). Dr. Wold was transparent about treatment options and was receptive of my reservations and anxieties about the dentist. I have a tolerance to local anesthetics and rather than testing the waters (which so many other dentists have done before), he simply gave me a bit extra anesthetics from the get go. I didn't feel any pain or discomfort other than the typical pressure during a dental procedure. I was hoping for a new and positive dental experience to base all future appointments off of, and that is what I got. I appreciate Willamette's efficiency and the fact that the dentist actually listened to me.

My issue was escalated to a triage, 3 days later still NO contact from scheduling. I had to reach out, again, to get an apt set. They did offer me a same day apt, however, it wasn't an option being too short of notice. I have had multiple instances in the past of not receiving reminder calls for appointments and received no-show charges. When I called regarding no call the first time I was told "reminder calls are not guaranteed" They continue to raise their insurance rates, increase their copays and then provide subpar service to patients. The Ortho Dept, however, is an AMAZING team. I would have cancelled my insurance coverage years ago due to ongoing dental staff issues if I didnt have a child in braces. Also - ALL their appointments run late .. even being the first apt of the day we are constantly called back late and I highly doubt its due to returning triage calls!

Great place for dental work and cleaning. We've been with D.D.S. Young about 15 years and he's excellent. Plan to use this service for many years.

Went back 3 times before they figured out what was wrong with my tooth. I was in pain for months. They charged me an office visit each time. I'm really disappointed in the quality of care.
