I see a lot of negative reviews here but my experience was different. I thought the front desk staff was polite, nobody even questioned me about my service dog even though I had forgotten his service dog vest and was using a regular black harness. The hygienist was great. Friendly and helpful. The dentist seemed nice enough given the little time I met him. But I was there for an intake appointment and didn't anticipate spending much more time than a token amount anyway. The only negative experience I had was entering through the side exit. It was absolutely littered with cigarette butts (see photos). They all seemed like the same brand so I am assuming that there is at least one chain smoking litter bug in the building.

I'm wondering, one time we were latr (it happens with teenagers) and they charged us a $30.00 fee for being late. Hmmmmm our appointment to was at the top of the hour and we didn't get in for 40 minutes. Can I charge them a late fee? Yeah right, works one wY@

The dentist was great, she was experienced, friendly and efficient. The experience is ruined by unhelpful and unfriendly front staff, and inexperienced dental assistance. I had two adjacent crowns installed and am left with sharp edges and rough teeth where grinding was done due to a poor job of finish work by the dental assistant. I have called twice now, without success, to schedule a follow-up. They apparently do not have any openings and cannot schedule an appointment. I do not understand why.

My girlfriend went to see them, they didn't remove a cavity fully 3 different times and now she needs several root canals. Same thing with her mom as well. She has lost several teeth because of their bad work.

They have been canceled on me a lot ! They don't have good comunicacion. What I had to get done is something serious or else I can loose a tooth. And they still cancel and reschedule 2 months later so they can actually can see me. Yet. I waited for my appointment 1 month for this appointment. I have lost the count how many times I have been canceled. This is defiantly not professional.

I've vacillated about writing a review of my experience for several months. First, the front office staff isn't too friendly, and perhaps working in a windowless cubical would ruin my day as well. Secondly, while the hygienist was nice enough, I really didn't need to listen to his family history while he cleaned my teeth. Thirdly, I was none too happy to have a tech numb my mouth and another tech fill my tooth. The dentist popped in briefly to grind on my tooth, but didn't even go back and check the work the of the tech. My thoughts are that if paying to see a dentist, then I'd prefer that the dentist does the work. As a patient, I felt as if this experience was like being on an assembly line, each person doing their part, and no quality control. After I left, and the numbing had subsided, there was a tiny bit of filling material that had been stuck to one of my adjacent teeth. It bothered me for several weeks. Having recently moved to the area and having dental care in another state, I was happy that my x-rays were forwarded to Willamette. They were current, and yet the staff mixed them up with wife's x-rays. After some fumbling around, they located my x-rays. Claiming that my x-ray record was incomplete, they insisted upon taking another set of x-rays. So, after these experiences and an off vibe from that clinic, I did some more research and located another local dentist. Last week, I had my first appointment at the new dental clinic. I requested that my x-rays be forwarded from Willamette Dental Group. They forwarded my wife's x-rays. When the new clinic's office staff called Willamette and tried to resolve the problem. They resent my wife's x-rays. The new clinic's office staff then called back again, and Willamette dental group said they must have been deleted? they were lost? Who knows? So, if you're seeking good dental care with detail oriented folks, I'd say go else where.

This office is wonderful, I've been to many dental offices in my life. Dental pain, got right in, root canal referred and got right in, follow up for cap, they called with a cancellation and got right in. Dr McCarley communicates well and follows up, very happy he/they took such good care of me! Thank you so much!

So in February both my 4&5 year old kids had teeth cleaning appointments back to back and I was able to be there with them but now that it's my turn to get my teeth cleaned I can't bring them and can't get day care due to covid and shortage of daycare so they want to charge me a $30.00 cancellation fee when my insurance co pay is only $20.00 and I was pretty upset about this but the office manager was very nice and called me back an resolved the issue thank you very much

This office is wonderful, I've been to many dental offices in my life. Dental pain, got right in, root canal referred and got right in, follow up for cap, they called with a cancellation and got right in. I have an extreme phobia of the dentist (when I was in 2nd grade I had a dentist slip and stab me in the mouth and thru my cheek with a needle so it's a legit fear for me). Recently I have had tooth pain and have put it off for around 6 months but finally gave in and made an appointment. I let him know my anxiety and Aaron McCarley and his assistant were absolutely wonderful! They were very quick and kept making sure I was comfortable and not in any pain or having any super extreme anxiety issues! I plan on actually going back for a few other more minor issues so thank you! Oh also both my kids go here and love their dentist! The staff is also very friendly and kind

Dr. Johnson was absolutely amazing!! I was beyond terrified and I can not thank this Woman enough for making Me as comfortable as She did! She was calm, professional, compassionate and had wonderful bedside manors! Dr. Johnson, Thank you a million for my wonderful experience! I will be seeing you soon for a routine visit! I have had a life long debilitating fear of the dentist. Reinforced by dentist after dentist that were unkind and demeaning to me for my bad teeth. Willamette Dental in Albany have turned my fear completely around because they treated me with kindness and respect. I look forward to going in to the dentist now. I truly appreciate all the wonderful people that work there. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

General dentist Alexandria Johnson Pulled one of my teeth. it became infected. she left particles of my Tooth in the canine canal. She sent me to the ER!! For pain relief. It costed me more money to go to the ER than for her to just have me come into whilimatt dential office.I have one last appointment Scheduled with her soon. I hope she can correct her mistakes so I do not have to live with this Severe pain in my mouth.

I have been a patient at the Salem location, where my doctor and the staff have been wonderful...so I was reluctant to switch offices. However, everyone at this location was great, including Dr.McCarley! Willamette Dental does a great job with both the Salem and Albany locations.

Very unfriendly staff, hardly smile, which is ironic because you work at a dentistry place. Didn't feel comfortable at all while there.. finally going to switch dentist offices. Do NOT recommend. And to add (they do a awful job at billing insurance, very money hungry.)
