Dr. Kelly is a creative individual with passion for art that transitioned childhood talent in drawing, painting, and sculpture into the art of dentistry. After attending the School of Design at North Carolina State University, he pursued the profession of his father seeing the possibility to apply his passion for creation, imagination, and critical thinking toward dentistry. Dr. Kelly is full of curiosity and views dental health care as an opportunity to improve the lives of others. He challenges himself to stay in front of this medical discipline which has endless possibilities to provide health and wellbeing. His dedication to being an innovator in an ever advancing body of knowledge and technology in modern dentistry is greatly appreciated by those he serves.
Dr. Will Kelly is a fourth generation native of Gastonia, North Carolina. He resides in his hometown with his wife, Casey, and their four sons. To Dr. Kelly, being an active part of the community where he works and lives is rewarding. He offers world class service and treatment to patients from all over the South East and the greater Charlotte area and it brings him joy to provide exceptional dentistry for the people in the community that nurtured him throughout his life.
Dr. Kelly enjoys the outdoors and spends some his most memorable times with dental colleagues fly fishing and upland hunting. He also enjoys leisure time oil painting, playing guitar, and is a gourmet cook. 3D ImagingFor nearly a century, dentistry has relied on simple 2D x-rays to diagnose dental disease. While helpful, dentists are still restricted in their ability to see the whole picture with a two dimensional image. Dr. Kelly uses a state of the art, modern three dimensional Cone Beam CT that creates computer generated images of the teeth and jaws. This technology is light years ahead of the 2D X-rays of the past. The new freestanding building was designed to house two distinct dental practices. While the building appears large- housing two practices, within it you will find Dr. Kellys space a distinct and private environment that is perfect for receiving optimal care.
