Dr. Wills wife, Taylor, operates a successful family business based in Long Beach, CA and shares his passion for high quality service.
Dr. Will Grella grew up in the San Diego area. His practice philosophy has been heavily influenced by his grandfather, who was a dentist for 40 years and always followed the Golden Rule: He never recommended dental treatments to patients that he wouldnt believe in recommending for himself, and Dr. Grella upholds this same standard at his practice
Dr. Grella graduated summa cum laude from UCLA and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the UCLA School of Dentistry. His father was a Navy man and his grandfather was a Marine, so following in the military tradition of his family, Dr. Grella joined the Navy Dental Corps upon finishing dental school. He went to Officers School in Newport, Rhode Island and then completed a one-year residency at the Naval Hospital at Camp Pendleton.
After four years treating Marines in Yuma, Arizona, Dr. Grella resigned from active duty and moved back to Long Beach, CA where he originally met his wife, Taylor, and realized his goal of running a local, private practice. They have been married for 11 years and they have a son Grayson.
Dr. Grella is dedicated to providing high-integrity dental care and an exceptional patient experience. To ensure that his patients receive state-of-the-art care, he regularly pursues continuing education and engages with leaders in the field. He is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Harbor Dental Society.
In his free time, Dr. Grella enjoys swimming, cycling, watching movies, going to sporting events and reading. You can also often find him trying the great food and craft beer around the city. He also enjoys spending time with his family.

Our office hours are designed to provide dental care at the convenience of our clientele. We realize that our patients are busy people and our objective is to make it easy for them to obtain the care they need for optimal dental health.
To make sure you maximize your benefits from your dental visit, complete all the steps that the doctor lays out for you. If the process must be repeated, because of missing a window in time, we all are worse off. We will help you as much as possible to make sure that no one drops the ball.
To make sure that your teeth, gums and mouth are in the best condition possible, regular checkups are recommended at least twice a year. Schedule regular checkups well ahead of time so these essential checkups do not fall by the wayside and your dental health is jeopardized. We are very glad to help in any way we can.

Everybody from the receptionist to Dr.Grella himself to the lady who cleaned my teeth were all fantastic I had a wonderful experience. I'm coming back for a bridge and a couple of fillings. They couldn't be nicer and they got me in and out as soon as humanly possible. They even had a dental hygienist appointment that day so I got a cleaning right after my consultation with Dr. Grella!

Fixed two lost one cleaned the rest, and added three new ones. Complete service inside and out. The front desk is warm and fluffy. I'm pretty sure you guys now how hard it is to be nice sometimes, yet they pull it off.- figuratively and literally .

I was referred to Dr. Grella from a hygienist from my former dentist's office (San Pedro). It was a little nerve-wracking to see a new dentist after 25 yrs with the former. However, my first visit with Dr. Grella was much more pleasant than I had imagined and am happy I made the switch. Not only was the doctor really cool, his staff members were equally nice and accommodating. Dr Grella is now my go to dentist and will recommend him to my peeps.

First time at this location and may I say it was a 10/10. For the first time, being in a dentist office it felt welcoming and enjoyable. Just the vibe around the entire office was calming and for me it was fun surprisingly. They had enjoyable music playing and not the elevator type of music, which made the setting feel more comfortable. From the moment you walk in, the front desk receptionist was nice and had such a positive attitude. Throughout my entire experience there, every doctor that assisted me was well professional and super nice and funny. So a great first experience here at the office. Looking forward to being a regular patient.
