Dr. Wilkinson has a true passion for dentistry. With over two decades of experience, he has gained the technical skills to provide his patients with healthy, beautiful, long-lasting smiles! He also enjoys attending continuing education courses to remain on the cutting edge of dental technology.
A native of central Illinois, Dr. Wilkinson moved to Springfield after graduating from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in 1998. He was drawn to the Ozarks because of his love for the outdoors. He and his family love calling Missouri home!
Dr. Wilkinson has always felt that people should be able to relax when they come to the dentist. He believes in taking time to discuss all options with a patient, allowing them to make decisions in full confidence that he and his staff can provide dental care that is functional, feels good, and looks great.
Dr. Gardner spent his growing up years in the heart of Tucson, Arizona with his parents and five siblings. He received his undergraduate education at Brigham Young University in Utah, then headed back to Arizona to attend the dental program at Midwestern University in Glendale. He was one of four students who received the Deans Clinician Award for outstanding clinical skills upon earning his Doctorate of Dental Medicine. Dr. Gardners training in cosmetic dentistry and the latest dental technology made him the perfect candidate to join our team of doctors here at Wilkinson Dental, and he relocated his family to southwest Missouri in 2021.
In our office, Dr. Gardner performs all types of family, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry. He is committed to excellence in his craft and loves working with his hands to fix thingsa passion he discovered at a young age but is most passionate about his patients. Dr. Gardners focus is to build real, trusting relationships with his patients and help them feel comfortable on their dental journey. His standard is to keep patients involved and educated throughout the treatment process, which enables them to make confident decisions about their oral health. We might add that Dr. Gardners other great passion is cracking jokes, which he can be found doing all over the office on a daily basis! Dr. Gardners vibrant personality, attentive care, and wealth of knowledge are sure to brighten your visit here at Wilkinson Dental.
When not at the office, Dr. Gardner spends his time with his wife and two children. They enjoy going out in nature, trying out new restaurants, watching Shark Tank, and participating in activities with their church. They love calling southwest Missouri and Wilkinson Dental their home!
Dr. Hamby grew up in the small town of Picher, Oklahoma with his parents and six siblings. He was an inquisitive child who loved science, math, and solving problems, which led him to his first career as a Plastics Engineer. He worked in the engineering field for 12 years before deciding he wanted a more hands-on career. After shadowing a dentist during a mission trip to Brazil, he knew dentistry was the field he wanted to pursue, and hasnt looked back since! He received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine at A.T. Still University before relocating to the Springfield area to join our practice in 2020.
Dr. Hamby performs all types of family, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry, and specializes in root canal treatment and implants. Dr. Hamby enjoys the science behind dental restorations, and his engineering background enables him to approach dentistry with an excellent technical mind. He is also fulfilled by interacting with his patients and helping them reach their ideal smile results, whether through tooth replacement options like implants and crown restorations, or by helping his patients find relief from tooth pain or infection. Dr. Hambys passion for dentistry and warm yet meticulous nature make him an outstanding provider within our practice!
Outside the office, Dr. Hamby enjoys staying active through activities like golfing, curling, hunting, fishing, camping, and working out. He also plays drums and guitar and has enjoyed playing music with the worship team at his church. Dr. Hamby is married with 3 kids and 6 grandkids and loves spending time with his growing family.

I got the best cleaning I have ever had from Jaci. She knew I had sensitive roots and she used procedures so that I didn't feel anything and my teeth were so clean afterwards.

I needed to find a Dentist to replace a lost crown, I was referred to Wilkinson Dental. They were able to get me into the office early in the week and was able to schedule enough time for them to evaluate my situation, as well as replace the crown all in one sitting. This was an amazing experience. All the staff were very professional, Stacy provided great care and explained everything in detail before starting the entire procedure. All costs were presented to me up front by Carla the Treatment Coordinator, she was very professional and full of smiles the entire time. This was a great experience, and I would highly recommend this office for anyone needing any dental work.

From start to finish nothing but excellent service and treatment. I went in as new visit since it had been years seen (as I'm a big baby ) by dentist. Found out had to have more then just a check up. They went above and beyond to get me in same day for a Crown ....yes I said a Crown and it was done Meticulously Everyone from check in to, triage, tx plan, billing, making me comfortable, dentist and assistant making it as comfortable as possible, no rushing even at end of busy day and me being the last to leave, and even walking me out !!! More then a 5 . Thank you for everything

Everyone is always really kind at Wilkinson dental. They make you feel very welcomed and comfortable everytime you visit! I had a cleaning scheduled and they told me I had to get some fillings done, I asked if I could get it done that day and they said yes. They were super nice about it! I've been going to them for awhile now, and will continue to keep going.

My first actual dentist in a long time, been going to Jordan Valley for awhile, and got recommended to go to Wilkinson's and I'm glad they did, was a very friendly environment, had my issue taking care of, and looking forward to having them as my primary dentist now on <3 thank you

From the moment I walked in the door for my very first visit they gave me a birthday card and the entire staff was so friendly and welcoming. Allison was so sweet and kind and was able quickly assess my tooth pain to get me out of pain same day! She was so Understanding and very professional. Dr. Gardner did so well with my treatment, I didn't feel a thing and felt comfortable the whole time. I will definitely be making this my home dentist on a regular basis! Loved everything about my visit today and the welcoming snacks were a plus!

The staff, hygienists, and doctors are incredibly friendly and understanding of the many people with the lifelong fear of dental work. I even referred my wife here and she almost has a phobia and Dr. Hamby and TJ have taken excellent care of her. Dr. Gardner and Kaley took my wisdom teeth out last year and did an incredible job. A few major life events happened and I was not able to get to my follow up work until late this year and they were so empathetic and understanding. They got me in when I was ready.

Everyone is very nice. From the front desk all the way to the dentists, I had Alison helping me out along the way and she was great, made sure I didn't have any questions or concerns. Appointments took a bit but I was able to get an earlier appointment with the way they have notifications and reminders set up

Had a crown and a filling done today. Everything about my visit was exceptional, cept fot holding my mouth open for an hour +. All the staff and doctors are top notch and care about how the visit is going. They are fantastic. I would recommend them to anyone

Wilkinson Dental was absolutely an amazing experience. Starting at x-rays to the exam! The staff is so welcoming, and my hygienist Kaylee made me feel so comfortable and walked me through every part of the way . I would highly recommend this office !
