Dr. Mike says, We are a full-service office that includes treatment such as preventive dentistry, full-mouth reconstruction, sedation dentistry (IV, oral and nitrous oxide), orthodontic treatments, teeth whitening, veneers, cosmetic dentures, TMJ disorder treatment, occlusal guards, implants and tooth-colored fillings.
Concierge dentistry is often compared to corporate dentistry (sometimes called a managed group practice), which is not quite an apples-to-oranges kind of thing. The opposite of the corporate dentist would technically be the independent dentist, and being independent does not automatically mean that you can deliver concierge level services. For that, you must go a step further.
Corporate dentistry, by its very definition, must prioritize profitability and the highest monetary returns possible. They are working within a structure that requires this kind of focus. Unfortunately, this could lead to several potential problems that concierge dentists can avoid.

Michael B. Wilhite, DMD, PA Dr. Michael B. Wilhite earned his undergraduate degree from Western Kentucky University with a double major in biology and chemistry. He was awarded his doctorate from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 1998. Dr. Wilhite has advanced IV sedation training through OHSU School of Dentistry in Portland, Oregon. He has been a dentist for more than 20 years and is committed to providing you with the best dental care possible. He continues his education every year through seminars, conferences and advanced training.
Dr. Wilhite has trained with some of the worlds leaders in cosmetic dentistry, including the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study. With extensive experience with veneers, bonding and aesthetic reconstruction, he has been able to help his patients achieve dramatic results for their smile makeovers.
Dr. Wilhite has been recognized for his skill in surgery and restoration of dental implants as a Fellow of the International Congress for Oral Implantology (ICOI), one of the highest international designations for the most life-changing treatment that dentistry offers. He is a member of the International Association of Dentists (IAD) in which he was selected for his experience, forward thinking and highest quality of care. He is honored as one of the Leading Physicians of the World (LPW) and has completed the extensive Comprehensive Implant Training Program with HandsOn. He is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), which was founded in 1951 as the first professional organization in the world dedicated to implant dentistry.
Dr. Wilhite has developed special methods in sedation dentistry for the fearful patient. He believes in helping fearful patients accomplish their goals of being healthy. He believes your visit to the dentist should be a comfortable experience. Dr. Wilhite is one of the few dentists trained and licensed to provide IV sedation for all dental procedures.

I am apparently the exception here but I must say I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Wilhite's office. I decided to switch to his office since my husband was already a patient there From the beginning I had the feeling I was being "sold" extra services. There are several examples I could share but the biggest issue is when Dr. Wilhite convinced me I needed a mouth guard due to my supposed teeth grinding. I was skeptical but agreed to having a mold made for the bite guard. I admittedly should have asked the price ahead of time but was utterly SHOCKED when I was charged $1450 upon check out. Add that to the fact that they charged $250 for cleaning that was no more intense than previous cleanings I have had for $100. I paid for the cleaning, told them I was not willing to pay for a $1450 mouth guard and left. I have checked with other dentists regarding mouth guard and the highest price I heard was $700, with most being less than $500. If you do not have insurance, I would definitely steer clear.

My entire family of 5 comes here and they make both the children and the adults comfortable.
