We believe that it is important to maintain the natural structure of teeth as much as possible. Our treatments are conservatively diagnosed to make sure that if we can, we will save the tooth. We are not the kind of dentistry that will quickly diagnose a root canal or extraction; on the contrary, we perform a thorough examination while making sure no stone is left unturned. Dr. Kyle Walkington is a Frisco dentist is committed to providing leading-edge dentistry and compassionate care to patients of all ages. He believes that prevention and education are the foundations of a lifetime of optimal oral health.
Dr. Walkington believes that providing exceptional dental care requires a life-long commitment to continuing education, so he completes numerous classes and seminars each year to stay up-to-date on the latest treatments and technologies. Dr. Walkington has extensive experience in general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics (root canal therapy), wisdom teeth removal, dentures, dental implants, orthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
As a born-and-raised Michigander, Dr. Walkington graduated with honors from Kettering University in Flint, MI. He then attended the University of Michigan School of Dentistry to complete his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Dr. Walkington practiced general dentistry in Michigan for two years before moving to Frisco, Texas, to open his own private practice in 2012.
When he isnt working he is spending time with his wife, Amber and two children, or relaxing by his fire pit. He stays very involved with his childrens school and activities. He even spent time as their soccer coach last fall. He loves to stay active and exercise regularly. You would never guess that his favorite restaurants are Torchys Tacos and Haywire.
Lindsey and Dr. Walkington began working together in 2013. Starting early on as a dental assistant, she became very passionate about caring for our patients and their overall experience. Lindsey naturally transitioned into her current role as office manager. She is originally from Lubbock, Texas but moved to the DFW area in 2009 with her husband, Kyle and two dogs. They currently live in Aubrey. She enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling. Her favorite pastime though is hanging out with friends and family enjoying lifes simple pleasures.
Kelly is our newest team member but her dental knowledge is anything but that. She has been in the dental field for 18 years and has learned all aspects of the dental office. She recently moved from Alamogordo, NM with her husband, Dakota. She has 5 children and stays pretty busy with all their activities. When she does get time to relax, Kelly enjoys going to country concerts and spending time with family.

This was my review for Frisco, but in understanding that he practices in Prosper I felt it necessary to post here too. I should have listened to the reviews, not the ones Walkington asks people to post. I went in for a routine cleaning, and was being sold on braces that he would treat me for. I asked about aligners, and he stated that if I tried aligners I was going to be back in the same position I am now in a couple of years. First he is NOT and orthodontist, having CEC's in orthodontics is not the same. I went to 3 other REAL orthodontists and they each told me the only people who do NOT qualify for aligners are those that need jaw surgery. Wildflower then billed my insurance not just for a cleaning but an orthodontic visit, of which I'm suppose to pay out of pocket for. I NEVER asked for an orthodontic visit. Absolutely immoral.

My son went through orthodontic treatment at Wildflower Dental and his teeth look great! Dr. Walkington is also our family dentist- I loved the convenience of being able to go to the same place for our dental and orthondontic needs. Great staff as well!

Just went in for a cleaning. Staff and Dr. Were all very friendly. Unlike a lot of Dentists, there wasn't any hard selling or push for treatments that are necessary. Great experience all around.

Best dentist I have ever been to! Fit me and my kids in as new patients on my schedule. Scheduled follow up procedures promptly again working with me on my schedule. Completed years worth of work in under a week! Polite staff, very sweet and patient with the younglings. I no longer dread going to the dentist and even better...neither do my kids. I am so glad we found Wildflower!

It is very hard to find a Dentist office open on a Saturday, thankfully I was able to find Wildflower Dental and Orthodontics online. I called at about 12:00 PM and they managed to squeeze me in within the hour. Although my dental insurance doesn't cover them, they still saw me. Not only did they do a normal check up, they also diagnosed the issue I was having causing me to seek dental help. Once diagnosed, they even did some X-rays and gave me a full consultation/run down of the treatment I need as well as the different options of payment. I only had to pay a $25 initial visit fee for the consultation and x-rays, that's an amazing deal! When I asked them to refer me to someone that could potentially be covered under insurance so I don't have to pay for surgery in full, they gave honest options as opposed to lying and trying to make more money. I recommend this dental office because the staff and Doctors are amazing and very accommodating. Thank you for all your help, Wildflower!

This is our one stop for all our family dental needs from adults to children. Dr. Walkington is professional, knowledgeable, confident and very caring provider! Caring, professional and friendly staff: receptionist, hygienists and financial coordinator! Clean reception area!! Glad to have them for the past 4.5 years now!!!

First off I just want to say how the staff here at this office are all just amazing. The dentist is a great guy who does a fantastic job and goes above and beyond for every dental procedure and makes sure each patient personally feels special! And all the new technology really they have really helps by making the dental experience more bearable and go by soo much faster. Same day crowns are also a bonus so you don't have to get a temporary crown that could break before the permanent crown comes in! I would highly recommend this office to anyone who wants quality dental care from a friendly and caring staff.

My family and I just moved over to Prosper this summer. We decided to try Dr. Walkington's office, since it was close to home. Great experience on our first visit! Dr. Walkington is very knowledgeable, and the staff was very friendly. I highly recommend this dentist to anyone looking for one in Prosper.
