We believe that it is important to maintain the natural structure of teeth as much as possible. Our treatments are conservatively diagnosed to make sure that if we can, we will save the tooth. We are not the kind of dentistry that will quickly diagnose a root canal or extraction; on the contrary, we perform a thorough examination while making sure no stone is left unturned. Dr. Kyle Walkington is a Frisco dentist is committed to providing leading-edge dentistry and compassionate care to patients of all ages. He believes that prevention and education are the foundations of a lifetime of optimal oral health.
Dr. Walkington believes that providing exceptional dental care requires a life-long commitment to continuing education, so he completes numerous classes and seminars each year to stay up-to-date on the latest treatments and technologies. Dr. Walkington has extensive experience in general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics (root canal therapy), wisdom teeth removal, dentures, dental implants, orthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
As a born-and-raised Michigander, Dr. Walkington graduated with honors from Kettering University in Flint, MI. He then attended the University of Michigan School of Dentistry to complete his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Dr. Walkington practiced general dentistry in Michigan for two years before moving to Frisco, Texas, to open his own private practice in 2012.
When he isnt working he is spending time with his wife, Amber and two children, or relaxing by his fire pit. He stays very involved with his childrens school and activities. He even spent time as their soccer coach last fall. He loves to stay active and exercise regularly. You would never guess that his favorite restaurants are Torchys Tacos and Haywire.
Lindsey and Dr. Walkington began working together in 2013. Starting early on as a dental assistant, she became very passionate about caring for our patients and their overall experience. Lindsey naturally transitioned into her current role as office manager. She is originally from Lubbock, Texas but moved to the DFW area in 2009 with her husband, Kyle and two dogs. They currently live in Aubrey. She enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling. Her favorite pastime though is hanging out with friends and family enjoying lifes simple pleasures.
Kelly is our newest team member but her dental knowledge is anything but that. She has been in the dental field for 18 years and has learned all aspects of the dental office. She recently moved from Alamogordo, NM with her husband, Dakota. She has 5 children and stays pretty busy with all their activities. When she does get time to relax, Kelly enjoys going to country concerts and spending time with family.

Received unbelievable treatment from the lady at the front desk. I called them at 4:30pm and mentioned that my son's retainer broke and it's poking him in the cheek and since we live 2 min away and this is an emergency, I asked if I could bring him in to have it fixed. She kept telling me that they don't have any openings for today and tried to schedule an appointment for next morning. My son obviously cannot spend the rest of the day with a metal wire poking him in the cheek, but they refused to spend less than 5 min and fix it. I knew I made a mistake when I chose this dentistry for all 3 of my kids dental treatments, but now I am 100% sure. I will definitely not be going back.

Dr.Kyle is simply amazing. I highly recommend him. He is so knowledgeable and cares about the comfort of his patients. I had 2 crowns completed today.. BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!! And we cant forget... his staff are the nicest people ever!

This place is consistently great! Dr. Walkington does a great job and Hailey at the front always goes out her way to make help. It is very clear that she cares a lot about her job and the patients! Wouldn't take my kiddo anywhere else!

Went in to see Dr.Walkington because I was referred by my aunt who also goes there. He really knew what he was doing and made me feel really confident in getting a check up. We were able to come up with a really good treatment plan for me!! The staff was super kind and professional. Receptionist was a delight and helped me with an issue with my insurance, she got it squared away with one phone call! I highly recommend this office!!!!!!

Dr. Walkington has been our dentist for over 5 years and has provided my family and I with exceptional service. My son recently had his braces removed and can't stop smiling. Dr. Walkington did an excellent job in caring for our son's teeth. Thank you Wildflower Dental.

Update. Horrible horrible horrible... I spend almost 2000 $ out of pocket and I didn't see any change They replied to my comment and said we don't know you! If I don't have any record with you guys why after this reply you send me a receipt and asked for 750$ more!

I should have listened to the reviews, not the ones Walkington asks people to post. I went in for a routine cleaning, and was being sold on braces that he would treat me for. I asked about aligners, and he stated that if I tried aligners I was going to be back in the same position I am now in a couple of years. First he is NOT and orthodontist, having CEC's in orthodontics is not the same. I went to 3 other REAL orthodontists and they each told me the only people who do NOT qualify for aligners are those that need jaw surgery. Wildflower then billed my insurance not just for a cleaning but an orthodontic visit, of which I'm suppose to pay out of pocket for. I NEVER asked for an orthodontic visit. Absolutely immoral.

This is my second time with Wildflower Dentistry. I had a deep cleaning yesterday at their Frisco office, and today I had to have a root canal on my very front upper tooth, here at the Prosper location. I was extremely nervous about it to say the least. All of that changed once I got there! Dr Walkington and his staff are AMAZING! They walked me through the procedure and answered all my questions before we started. They gave me a pair of sunglasses to block the light, clicked on a TV and we began. The worst part of the entire thing was the injections to numb the tooth and root, and they really weren't even that bad. I was constantly checked on by them and made sure I was comfortable and alright. I actually FELL ASLEEP during the procedure! Everything went perfect and then Dr Walkington went over what was done and my walking plans and then I was good to go! All in all it was an extremely great experience, as much as a root canal can be! I highly recommend Wildflower and will DEFINITELY be coming back if need be in the future!I

Was looking for a new dentist and was fortunate they reopened when I lost a crown and needed it put back on. They were able to get me in right away and I was very impressed with both Lindsey and Dr. Walkington. Love the fact they are a small practice and have such a close personal interaction with their patients. The level of care is outstanding. Will be using Dr. Walkington as our family dentist from now on.
