Dr. Poncewas born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, where she attended La Universidad Central de Venezuela to receive her dental degree. She moved to Boston in 1984 in order to attend Boston University. She earned both her Master of Science in dentistry and oral biology and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in orthodontics. She has been working for about 20 years now. While her children, Yone and Anthony, were at home, she maintained a harmonious balance between caring for her family and caring for her patients. Now that they are grown, she is free to devote more time to the needs of her practice. Sheis frequently involved in dental missions to foreign countries and has volunteered at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Dental Clinic. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Arizona Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontics, and The Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics

I am extremely upset with the service this office has provided for my daughter . At appointments they wouldn't set up next appointment to keep up with treatment. It happened twice first time I thought okay it was a mistake . Now I'm moving her to another office they have charged my insurance the full price of work that they have not provided. I was told on Tuesday I would get a letter to end my services and today is Friday and I keep getting the run around . I would not recommend this place . Not if you want the job done right

great place to get your teeth fixed fast and easy, workers are friendly, don't make you wait to long in the waiting room for your appointment. they fixed my teeth up great explain very well what has to be done in detail overall a great place for dental treatment highly recommend.

I have moved to multiple different orthodontist in the last two years. I have had so many problems with every single one; not caring about my teeth, provide the wrong information, messing up my prescriptions and etc. When I have finally got comfortable with going to another ortho office i choose this one. Not only did they treat me, they gave me the right information and still showed that my feelings and their consideration towards me mattered. Wild West Orthodontist will be my go to place for a cleaning or any other teeth matter.

I had the pleasure of being patient at Wild West for a little over 6 years. Every single time the professionalism and cleanliness was nothing short of perfect. Ana and Aimee are the life of this place always bringing laughs to the kids. Dr. Ponce and her team are amazing I highly recommend Wild West for all your ortho needs.

The supervisor Victoria is the rudest human being I have ever had to deal with . I pre-scheduled my daughters bracket to be fixed and when I arrived i was told she didn't have an appt after I showed proof then is now when Victoria proceeded to tell me per the doctor this issue can wait until her next appt which is (4-6 weeks out ) then when I asked for cooperates number , Victoria was uncooperative and hung up on me . When I called back , Victoria answered again and finally gave me the information I was asking for and then asked if it pertained to my daughter. I told her I no longer needed to speak with her , thank you for the information and hang up . Victoria then had the audacity to call me back and I asked her please do not call me , I will speak to cooperate. I am a mother of 6 and all my children have had braces . Never in my years have I gone to an ortho that doesn't fix a broken bracket when it's bothering my child. Unprofessional at its most finest. Victoria has no business in being in such a field if she can't deal with patients accordingly .

My entire orthodontic experience was great. Dr. Ponce is amazing & always listened to any concerns I had! While getting my braces off, Yovanna was great! Super easy process of getting them off and kept checking in with me throughout the process to make sure I was doing okay. The rest of the team is just as friendly & super personal. Will recommend to friends & family!

I had a wonderful experience! My teeth came out great & Dr. Ponce was so nice and professional. My only downside was my appointments were miss scheduled twice but they were great with handling it.
