Dr. Perry Francis and the friendly Wild About Smiles staff welcome children, young adults and those with special needs to our practice. Our focus is on gentle care that sets the foundation for a lifetime of oral health and positive associations with dental visits. And we have a special place in our hearts and our practice for those with special needs. We believe it simply is not necessary to fear going to the dentist, nor is it acceptable to suffer pain and other complications brought on by lack of access to quality dental care.

Our approach to quality, non-threatening care has made Wild About Smiles particularly well-suited to care for children and young adults with special needs. This group of children include those that may have been diagnosed on the autism spectrum, children with cerebral palsy, Downs syndrome and other muscle-related disorders. Like all children, these special kids deserve care that is tailored to their physical, mental and emotional needs.

There is nothing more gratifying than to walk into a room and have a child smile that beautiful smile that conveys that they are happy to see you. Every emotion that comes from a child is real and genuine; I am incredibly lucky to encounter that feeling every day when I go to work.

I am a General Dentist who enjoys working with children. I have limited my practice to the care of infants, children, young adults and people with special needs. I know that the dental services and intervention I provide for my young patients will make a difference in their lives now and well into the future. Every day, I get to make positive differences in the lives of my patients, starting them off on a great dental path.

I have assembled my staff at Wild About Smiles with that focus on care in mind, selecting only people who are driven to work with children. Together with my staff, we laugh with our young patients, tell jokes and sing with them. This sets the whole tone of the office: compassionate and positive pediatric dental care.

Megan was very personable and sweet with my 4yr old? Asked him questions and made new things that might be scary (camera) a little more fun.

We have been going here for 9 years, since my oldest turned one. Dr. Francis is the best and always so great with our three kids. Ana was great cleaning their teeth. All the other staff from the front desk and back are all amazing and friendly. Great kid friendly office.

Dr. Francis and his team have been caring for both of my children's teeth since they have been one year old. My first son is a pretty anxious kiddo and they have been wonderful when working with him. They are very gentle and explain things well and calmly both to him and me. They are very thorough in answering any questions or concerns I have about caring for their teeth and /or necessary treatments. I appreciate Dr. Francis' "wait and see" approach. His hygienist, Ana, is very kind and caring to both of my boys. We would highly recommend Wild About Smiles to other parents for the care of their children's dental health.

My daughter absolutely loves Dr. Francis and his staff, especially Ana, they have really made her so comfortable and work with her to ne able to understand what's happening and fully accommodate all her needs. My daughter has Down syndrome and is 10 years old. She used to be deathly afraid of being at the dentist office until I brought her here 4 years ago. I fully recommend Dr. Francis and his staff, they are amazing with Bella.

This so called kids teeth specialist office, My 4 year old has some development delays, we waited 1 hour and 10 minutes before the assistant took her for X-ray and wondered that she is not cooperative with doing X-ray (they want 4 year old to act like 40 year old and wait 1 hour at dentist to get there X-ray and sit still very thoughtful for being kids teeth specialist) X-ray lady I guess is very overwhelmed with work or maybe just having a bad day, so doctor comes and tell me I need a hospital setting to give general anesthesia and completely knock her out to get X-ray and then he can figure out what to do with her cavities. So 1 hour 35 later we left the office we great knowledge

My son has been going to Dr. Francis for 15 years. He is great with my son, who started out with some anxiety about getting his teeth cleaned. Regular cleanings and thorough instructions regarding dental care (along with some diligence from my son) he's had no cavities all these years. Just recently fitted for a retainer to keep his teeth from shifting, the process was quick and easy, so we should be able to avoid expensive orthodontics. Very happy with Dr Francis and his staff.

Saw Dr. Francis for 10 years. Suddenly they decided to charge us $75 per child (2) because I had to reschedule their dental appointment. We gave them more than 24 hour notice but that wasn't enough for them. My husband and I both work full time. It is unusual that we have to reschedule our appointments, but on this particular day, after exhausting all our options, we were not able to get them to their appointment. Apparently their time is more valuable than ours. The lady at the front desk was so snotty, refused to listen to me and talked over me while I tried to explain our circumstances. In the 10 years we have been going there, we have only rescheduled 2-3 times...we were never charged or treated so horribly. I guess our dentist cares more about money than his loyal patients. I DO NOT recommend Wild About Smiles. They clearly care more about money than their patients. Charging us $150 to reschedule (not cancel) does not make me want to reschedule. Instead we will find a new dentist who has some sort of understanding that life happens and my time is valuable too.

Zero stars for the worst customer service!!! The front desk was not able to answer a simple question and promised to call back after touch base with the doctor. They never called me back. I called again and again to find out if the doctor was able to provide the front desk with the answer and I was told that all my questions will be answered at the consultation( all I wanted to know is what kind of cement they use on children's teeth). Then when I had to cancel because my question was not answered before the appointment they blocked my name( my child's name) to never be able to schedule with them again. Rude! Unprofessional! Disrespectful ! Not willing to meet their customers' needs! Not caring! I haven't had a chance to meet the doctor, so I can't really say anything about him! However, the experience that I had with the front desk leaves much to be desired!

Worst place! They don't want parents in the room while doing dental work. Which is super weird. They charge to reschedule if your child is having cold symptoms even tho they sent out a message saying they would have to reschedule anyways the receptionist was still trying to have me take my sick child in for her appointment I'm done with this ridiculous place and their stupid policies.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. I took my daughter here, and honestly, it was the worst experience we've EVER had with a dentist. She's only 4, so of course she's got anxiety with the dentist. The nurses were having issues getting her xrays, so Dr. Perry Francis came over, got in my daughters face, and yelled at her! He said that if she didn't knock it off, we were going to leave. He was so rude, and when we got back to the room, he said that he doesn't like yelling at them, but sometimes it works. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? She didn't hit, bite, nothing like that, she was just scared! For someone who is supposed to specialize in young children and autistic children, you'd think that he could handle a 4 year old with just plain dentist anxiety. I was already in tears as I paid them on the way out, but I can promise I will NEVER be back here, and will let everyone know what happened here. When called to talk about the experience, he denied it, then just said that he was having a bad day. If you work with kids, you need to find a better way to handle it, or find a new job!

My son had 6 teeth surgery done by this dr. In renown I paid dr bill everything full and clear. dr and nurses before surgery was very nice. After surgery no visit to office. No one call to check on my 5 year old. My son been saying his tooth hurt I finally after month and so went back to this office. I had my two kids with me my 5 year and 3 years. Right when I enter nurse April instead of listening to concern was focusing on telling my 3 year old to behave when all he was doing looking at butterfly in room and talking to me about butterflie. She said buddy sit down no noise. She left to set x-ray When she came back he was crying she told me to leave my 5 year old with her after exam I be called inside because there is other people in office.take ur son out of office outside. It was so hot outside. I was never called in after the exam to talk to dr what was wrong. nurse come out to car said nothing wrong with his teeth. So I told the nurse it was insulting how she kick me and my 3 year old child out in heat can't even sit in lobby and also I did not even see dr. She said dr or manager will call. So dr did call and only defended that nurse and said his staff been 14 years and he disagree with me. I said ok if insult is ok and your nurse is right I won't be coming back thank u. dr said ok. I won't go to this place due no respect, value for kids and their parents. They want let even one person in lobby waiting room. It's child dental office but child can't even talk no matter it 2 or 3 years make sure tie their mouth or don't go. Went to see dr but not seen dr.because nurse decided everything. Because it's dr office got rights to treat u and child like this.

Mr..Perry Francis is a very rude male.. not listening to my chief of complaint after asking me questions... my grandson has two spacers and two caps and perry Francis claimed he didn't need the second spacer... even after my grand sons crown and spacer fell it out from another dentist that had done work in my grandson's mouth.. I told him it was so his other teeth wouldn't come in crooked.. and his staff didn't practice oral hygiene.. the young lady giving him more than 3 crowns off a tray full of crowns trying to fit size in my grandson's mouth.. she didn't even wear gloves.. especially after Perry Francis said that my four year old grandson had a cut on his gums.. I pointed this out and instead of apologizing he pulled away from my grandson and proceeded to tell me he can't help him and to go elsewhere.. I called the office whom referred me to mr. Perry Francis and they said his office told them that I wouldn't finish my paper work and that the office that referred me didn't do the right X-rays... I did my paper work and instead of owning up to their uncleanliness practice they blamed me and the other office whom referred me! I know we have bad mornings at times but for Mr. Perry Francis to turn away a child that is in discomfort is so unprofessional and unkind to children...

I love and absolutely adore Dr. Francis and his staff. Extremely pleasant and wonderful people! They are very kind and extremely caring over my child's dental health. Extremely understandable when it comes to anything scheduling or financially. Both staff and Dr. Francis explain things in a calming, understanding matter. My child has been a patient there for quite sometime, and no complaints. I definitely recommend your children see this practice!
