Dr. Stephen H. Root graduated from Chicopee Comprehensive High School in 1970 and earned his B.S. from University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1974. He then completed his dental training at Temple University in 1978.
Friday is our office companion dog and truly enjoys coming to work! She has been a very positive addition to our practice. Our patients love her and it is amazing to watch her visibly ease their anxieties. Friday is a highly trained rescue dog who transforms the energy in the office with her sweet calming personality.
Dr. Stephen H. Root graduated from Chicopee Comprehensive High School in 1970 and earned his B.S. from University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1974. He then completed his dental training at Temple University in 1978. He spent the last 35 years in private practice, first in Ludlow, then in Wilbraham.
He also has earned the Master of the Academy of General Dentistry award, or MAGD. This is a prestigious award, given after completing a rigorous 1,100 hours of continuing education, and includes a board exam. Dr. Stephen H. Root also has been a clinical consultant at the STCC hygiene program for more than twenty six years.

I suffer from anxiety and am afraid of the the dentist. But Dr. Root was so patient and gentle that slowly he's helping me to lose my fear of the dentist. He performed a root canal on me and I felt nothing!! He's an amazing dentist and I would recommend him to anyone I know.
