Dr. Michelle Wihlm was born in Oshkosh and graduated from Lourdes High School in 1999. She continued her education at Winona State University earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2007. She immediately joined the dental practice of Dr. Roger Jacobsen and purchased his practice in March 2008, establishing Wihlm Dental.

Dr. Wihlm married her husband Tony in 2004. They welcomed their daughters Kayla in 2009, Avianna in 2011 and Brielle in 2019, all through adoption. All three of their daughters were born in Alabama. When Dr. Wihlm is not spending quality time with her family, she also enjoys relaxing at home, being active, baking and reading. She is really enjoying practicing dentistry in her hometown. She is passionate about giving back to her community and staying connected with the Oshkosh area. Something you may not know about Dr. Wihlm, is back in 2009 Dr. Wihlm and her siblings set a Guinness World Record when they became the most siblings (16) to complete the same marathon. As of 2022, they still hold the record!

Professionally, Dr. Wihlm keeps current as an active member of the American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association and Winnebago County Dental Society, serving as President 2014/15. She also makes it a priority to attend continuing education both online and in person whenever possible. She is active in Oshkosh Mid-Morning Kiwanis and volunteers at Lourdes Academy (former Board of Trustee member), where her children attend school. Dr. Wihlm also volunteers on the Tri-County Dental Bus.

Dr. Ruth Marx was born and raised in Oshkosh. She graduated from Oshkosh West High School in 1987. She completed her Pre-Dental studies at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 1991 and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 1995 from Marquette University School of Dentistry. For the first two years out of dental school she practiced dentistry in Wisconsin Rapids, followed by 18 years in Appleton before deciding to practice closer to home in Oshkosh.

Dr. Marx and her husband, John, have been married since 2000. Together they enjoy traveling, biking and fishing, even though they are both allergic to fish! Dr. Marx also enjoys reading, card-making, cooking and baking.

Dr. Marx stays current in dentistry with continuing education on a regular basis. Her favorite part of being a dentist is making teeth feel and look better in a comfortable environment while getting to know her patients. She is also an active member of St. Jude the Apostle Parish in Oshkosh.

Cory is one of the first faces you will see when you enter the doors of Wihlm Dental. He joined the Wihlm Dental team in 2019. He really enjoys interacting with patients both on the phone and in person. He strives to make patients feel comfortable and at ease while in our office.

Cory was born and raised in Oshkosh. He graduated from Oshkosh North High School in 1997. He then went on to become a personal trainer getting his education from UW-Oshkosh in Exercise and Fitness Management. Prior to joining Wihlm Dental, Cory was a footwear specialist. His shoe knowledge has come in really handy for the ladies at Wihlm Dental!

Cory and his wife Kristin reside in Oshkosh. He has 3 sons, Brayden, Parker and Peyton. He has an active family and they enjoy working out together. In the summer you can find them spending time in their pool. He also enjoys playing softball.

Nikki has been a team member at Wihlm Dental since 2012. She is the one who will help you with coordinating any insurance benefits that you may have. She takes pride in being able to help our patients better understand their benefits and get them financially prepared for their dental treatment. Being able to interact and help patients on a daily basis is a rewarding experience for Nikki.

Spending time with family and friends is what Nikki appreciates most. During her free time she also really enjoys scrapbooking and being able to do outdoor activities, especially when it is warm. She and her husband Carly have welcomed three sons since being married in July 2015. Jackson, Nicholas, Philip and her step-daughter Rory, are what makes Nikkis family life such a blessing. Although her life may be busy at home, Nikki really enjoys both the home and work life opportunities that God has given her.

Hailey has worked at Wihlm Dental since 2016. She enjoys educating her patients on their oral health while also spending time with them and creating a comfortable experience. She has grown up in the dental office watching her mom assist and eventually go on to dental hygiene. This influenced Haileys decision to become a hygienist and help care for people as well.

Hailey grew up in Oshkosh and graduated from Oshkosh West High School in 2009. She then attended Fox Valley Technical College and graduated with degrees in both dental assisting and dental hygiene. Hailey is also certified in administering local anesthetic and nitrous oxide for dental procedures.

Amanda grew up in Oshkosh and graduated from Oshkosh North in 2004. She then went to Fox Valley Technical College and completed the Dental Assistant program in 2006. Working as a dental assistant for 3 years, she realized she enjoyed being in the dental field and went on to Northeast Wisconsin Technical College to get her degree in Dental Hygiene in 2010. She is also certified in administering local anesthetic and nitrous oxide for dental procedures. Amanda enjoys educating patients about their oral health in a positive manner and makes sure they are comfortable during their procedures.

When Amanda isnt working in the dental field, she is a dance instructor at Richards School of the Dance, where she teaches Lyrical, Jazz and Hip Hop. Amanda and her husband, Jake live in Pickett with their dog, Sage. She enjoys being outdoors hiking, fishing or at their families cottage in Wild Rose. She is also a huge Milwaukee Brewers fan- Jake and Amanda got married at the Timber Rattlers Stadium December 2020.

Jodi grew up in Oshkosh, graduating high school in 1992 from Lourdes Academy. She attended UW Oshkosh and graduated from Northcentral Technical College with a degree in Dental Hygiene in 1996. Although she is a newer team member, she comes with 25 years of experience in the Dental Hygiene field.

Jodi and her husband Greg live in Oshkosh. They have one son, Samuel, who is in college. In her free time, she enjoys reading, gardening, golfing and playing pickleball. She also loves to hang out with family and friends any chance she can get.

Madeline is originally from Fond du Lac, WI, where she graduated high school in 2013. She then pursued her degree in Dental Hygiene from Fox Valley Technical College, graduating in the spring of 2021. Having always enjoyed science-based learning, and wanting to work in a patient-oriented profession, dental hygiene was the perfect marriage of these traits for Madeline. She is really enjoying meeting our patients and getting to know many of our families.

Madeline is currently living just outside Oshkosh with her fianc, Brandon, and their great Pyrenees, Sophie. When shes not working, Madeline enjoys going boating on Lake Winnebago with her friends and family. She also enjoys reading novels, exploring new places, and as a foodie is always looking for new restaurant recommendations!

Dana grew up in Berlin, WI and graduated from Fox Valley Technical College in the Dental Assistant program of 1989, following her high school graduation. Dana brings over 30 years of dental knowledge and experience to our team. Dana is outgoing and enjoys getting to know patients and helping give each person the best dental experience possible.

Dana enjoys spending time with her husband Rick at their home in Oshkosh along with their yellow lab, Lacy. They also look forward to weekend visits with their grown children and getting outside, when the Wisconsin weather permits. Dana loves to listen to live music and cheer on the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Bucks. When given the chance, Dana and her husband explore new areas of the United States and they love to travel!

Erin graduated from the Fox Valley Technical College Dental Assistant program in December 2015. She actually joined the Wihlm Dental team prior to graduation as she finished up her clinical requirements in our office. Being able to interact with patients on a daily basis is what she enjoys most about being a dental assistant.

Erin has a very outgoing personality. She was born and raised here in Oshkosh, but went to high school in Fond du Lac at WLA. There she met her husband Jared, who is an electrician. Jared and Erin welcomed their first child, Samson, in May 2021. During her free time, Erin loves spending time with friends and family. Erin and Jared especially enjoy spending time spoiling their Godchildren. They love to hike, kayak and camp.

Our dental assistant Kim became a member of the Wihlm Dental team in early 2020. Kim is from Waupaca and currently lives in the Neenah area. Kim was drawn to dentistry from a young age as her mom worked in a dental office. Growing up in a dental office, she grew to have a passion for helping others through education. There are a lot of people who don't always know how to best take care of their teeth, mouth, and overall health. Being able to help them through education and then seeing the results is so exciting. Kim is outgoing and friendly and makes sure each patient fully understands the treatment they are going to have.

Kim has been married to her husband Ryan since 2013. She has a son Landon and daughter Harper. Kim is very active in her church and has gone on mission trips to Haiti. It was on a mission trip that Kim discovered her desire to pursue adoption. She and her husband were drawn to India, which is where her daughter was born. In their free time, Kim and her family enjoy waterskiing, boating, and downhill skiing. In fact, Kim competed on a state level with an amateur waterski team for 10 years!

Katie is originally from a tiny town just south of Omro, but now lives in Oshkosh with her husband Andy. They have two cats Kali and Rocco. In her free time, Katie loves working out, going out to eat and watching NFL football. Sadly, she cheers for the Detroit Lions.

Rachel was raised in Chilton, WI, where she graduated high school in 2018. She completed the Dental Assistant program at Fox Valley Technical College (FVTC) in 2020. Rachel has always had a passion for dentistry, and knew from a young age that she would pursue a career in the field. As an assistant, Rachel loves meeting new patients and creating personal relationships with each person that walks through the door. Rachel is also currently continuing her education in FVTCs Dental Hygiene program.

Tony joined the Wihlm Dental team in 2021. Tony was born and raised in a small southern Minnesota town, Madelia, MN. He obtained his undergraduate degree in accounting at Winona State University and that is also where he met his wife, Dr. Wihlm. He continued his education at Lakeland College, earning his MBA and is a licensed CPA.

Tony is a proud father of 3 daughters, they keep him busy and on his toes. Tony enjoys the outdoors especially hunting and campfires at home with his family and friends. He also enjoys most sports including golf, basketball and football. Tony is also active in the Oshkosh community and assists on various not-for-profit boards/committees. He currently serves on the Lourdes Academy School and Foundation boards. He is a past member of the Oshkosh Community Y board and past finance committee member at the Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh and Oshkosh Area Community Foundation. Tonys past employment has been in public accounting and most recently within the not-for-profit industry. Professionally, Tony is a member of the AICPA and WICPA. Tony looks forward to meeting all our great patients and working with our dedicated staff.
