Cara L. Wiewiora, D.M.D., M.S.D. is a highly experienced and skilled orthodontist who was born and raised in Longwood, FL. Her goal every day is to create beautiful, life-changing smiles all while getting to know each patient and family personally. To help provide the best service in Central Florida, she continues to stay up to date with the latest orthodontic technology and techniques. Dr. Wiewiora is also a member of the Arnold Palmer Craniofacial Team where she has the opportunity to give back to the community and work with numerous cleft lip and palate patients.
Dr. Wiewiora received a B.S. degree from the University of Florida, graduating Cum Laude with a major in Food Science and Human Nutrition. Continuing as a Florida Gator, she worked for her Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and was awarded the Dr. Carroll G. Bennett Award for Academic Excellence in Pediatric Dentistry as well as The American College of Dentists Students Ethics Award. She was also inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.
Following her dream to become an orthodontist, Dr. Wiewiora completed her orthodontic residency at Louisiana State University, earning a Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry. She was awarded the J. Jerome Hebert Award for Outstanding Resident, the LSU Health New Orleans School of Dentistry Research Day award, and the James P. Bordelon, D.D.S. Memorial Award for Clinical Excellence in Orthodontics. During her orthodontic training, Dr. Wiewiora performed research on reducing the development of white spot lesions during orthodontic treatment, and her paper has been published in the Oral Health and Preventive Dentistry journal.
When Dr. Wiewiora is not perfecting smiles, she enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband, Lee, who is also a native of Longwood, FL they are high school sweethearts! She also enjoys experiencing everything that beautiful Central Florida has to offer, as well as traveling, making memories with family and friends, reading, cooking and cheering on the Gators.
Dr. Rick M. Dunn received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Central Florida and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the Medical College of Virginia. He completed his orthodontic residency at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. While in dental school, Dr. Dunn received the Burtin N. Rudin Award and was a member of the Sigma Zeta Honorary Science Society.
Since returning home to open his orthodontic practice in 1977, Dr. Dunn has lectured in Japan, Brazil, and France on such topics as invisible braces and treatment of the temporomandibular joint. He has co-authored articles on invisible braces that are published in major dental publications. Dr. Dunn has more than 34 years of experience in the orthodontic field.
Dr. Dunn stays on the cutting-edge of the latest advancements in his field by maintaining memberships in prestigious professional organizations such as the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Association of Orthodontists, the Florida Dental Association, and the Orlando Dental Society.
Wiewiora & Dunn Orthodontics is supported by a team of friendly, talented professionals who are committed to creating a family-like environment with our patients as our core focus. Many of our team members have been with the practice for decades, and all are wholeheartedly dedicated to providing each patient with individualized, tender care. Donna has worked in orthodontics for over 35 years and for Wiewiora & Dunn Orthodontics since 1983. She is married to her wonderful husband, Dr. Jim Snyder, and has a blended family of five children. Donna enjoys traveling, mission work, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Mayra joined Wiewiora & Dunn Orthodontics in 2014. She has been a Certified Orthodontic assistant for 10 years. Mayra enjoys spending time with her 6-year-old son, which keeps her very busy. In her spare time, Mayra enjoys going to the beach and spending time with her family.
Sherrena started with our practice in 2015, as an assistant and now is the most caring treatment coordinator. She loves spending time with her husband and family. She enjoys going on long walks and exercise.
Lynn started working with us in July 2020. She has about 13 yrs of experience in Orthodontics and at the front desk. Her passions in life include scrapbooking, photography, and journaling. She loves hanging out with her family and friends.
Tonjia has worked for Drs. Wiewiora & Dunn since 1983 and has been in the orthodontic field for over 35 years. She enjoys spending time with her two sons and nieces. Tonjia spends her spare time volunteering for Northland, A Church Distributed. She is proud to serve this wonderful practice in any way that she can.
Debi joined Wiewiora & Dunn Orthodontics in June 2020 to continue her long-standing career of 40 years in the dental industry. Debi and her husband have three dogs and enjoy spending time with family, friends, and the dogs. She enjoys decorating, Polynesian dancing, and designing costumes.
Shandra joined Wiewiora & Dunn Orthodontics in 2011. Shandra and Octavius are the proud parents of their beautiful daughter Sanai. Her dream vacation would be to take a trip to Rome to see the architecture. Shandra loves spending time reading, being outside, enjoying family and friends.
Breanna started with Wiewiora and Dunn Ortho in 2021. She has been a dental assistant for 11 years. Smiling is her favorite thing to do and sharing it with the world. Her everyday goal is to make sure that every patient she sees leaves with a smile.

If you are ever considering coming to this orthodontist just do it! Both Lake Mary and Longwood offices are so nice and clean. The staff are the sweetest people ever. I got my braces on and off here and i've never had a bad experience. I love my teeth now and more confident than ever. Trisha took off my braces and she was amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

Maribel was a lifesaver... I had a long drive to my appointment and was more than late... She worked through her lunch to be able to get me seen and taking care of. Wiewiora and Dunn are amazing... The office staff always so sweet and helpful and the professionalism and expertise of the staff is great! The orthodontists are wonderful too.... My smile is coming along nicely! Thank you all

I am so happy that I chose Wiewiora and Dunn to do my invisalign. I have been with them for more than a year and they are truly amazing. Very professionals and the office is super clean . Their staff is great. Janeira was the one who removed my attachments at the end and she is so so sweet and knowledgeable. She explain what she is doing and is very gentle when working on your mouth. Shandra was super sweet too and always with a big smile in her face. Trisha did my pictures and x-rays and she made sure I was confortable and answered all my questions. Sherena helped me too , she would called to remind of the appointments and always ready to help and answer any questions. This team is everything you are looking for. I usually dont leave reviews but I know how much they help when you are looking for services like this. The ladies at the front are great and even if they are in the phone they will say hi to you and help you right away. Thank you . I am super happy and will recommend you to everybody.

Today, Monday. July 12 2021 and I just got my braces off! I CANNOT say enough about how excellent, professional, and A++ in EVERY way Wiewiora & Dunn Orthodontics is!!! EVERYONE here is soooo friendly, professional, and goes out of their way to give their patients the very best experience and make them feel very loved and comfortable! Also...everything here is truly state of the art. And the end results truly speak for themselves!!! All I can say with the utmost honesty and sincerity is, if you are going to get braces and want the VERY BEST experience and results...choose this place! And no...I was not compensated in any way to say these things. This is just an honest review from a VERY satisfied and appreciative patient! The entire staff are AMAZING! If I had to give this office a 1out of 10 I'll give them a 1000.. I would recommend anyone who's looking for a great orthodontist to go to them.. I want to give a BIG thanks to Shandra. She made my treatment the best experience ever. She was very patient, polite and professional. I love going sooo much I wanted to keep my braces on longer lol... But I can go on and on about this place, but I would rather you go get a wonderful experience for yourself. Thanks for having me from the front of the house to the back very welcoming.

This is an amazing operation and unlike any dental or ortho office I have seen before. (1.) Quality of car is very thorough and explanations are concise to the point and clear. I never doubt the strategy or that its right sized for me or my children's ortho plan. (2.) they are a cordial bunch...every one of them from the Drs through to any person on the staff and (3.) price...the cost here was inline or cheaper than any office I have dealt with before. I had quotes for Invisalign for adults in the family and this office was cheaper. Ortho I have no comparison on but I found the costs very reasonable. And lastly (4.) I would say this office is the most efficient I've ever dealt with regardless of the type of medical or dental office...you are in and out quick, if you have to reschedule they have options for you. Highly recommend.

Doctors Weiwiora and Dunn are incredibly talented Orthodontists. They were thorough in their initial evaluation for my daughter yet conservative. Other orthodontists talked about extreme measures when her teeth were not extreme. They heard our concerns and adapted the plan to fit us. Furthermore, they are now helping sponsor her Odyssey of the Mind team heading to world finals. Everyone in the office is friendly, knowledgeable and kind. My daughter, who is not super outgoing in medical situations, feels completely comfortable to go inside on her own, which speaks to their kindness and care.

Everyone is so friendly and made the whole process very smooth. Appointment availability is great and you get taken back right after checking in. The treatment coordinator went above and beyond to clearly explain the billing after insurance cost to me which is very reassuring.

I have been in treatment using Invisalign and I love it! It is a great alternative to braces. Dr. Wiewiora is the best and so very knowledgeable. My teeth have moved so quickly and I am thrilled with the results so far.

My 2 boys have been with this ortho for almost 2 years! Almost done and the experience has been the best we could've asked for! Most all employees have been helpful, kind, and informative. Someone special stands out!!! Mrs. Lynn is always available to help me with scheduling, understanding what the appointment will consist of, getting messages to the back office staff, and even more priceless is that she is happy and caring. She and I have gotten know eachother as we worked closely. We always walk in to a smile from Lynn and a chance we get to catch up on life. She also understands the parent/child relationship and scheduling as it relates to needs. For example, she works hard for me to fit in my college student when he is home from college.
