Cara L. Wiewiora, D.M.D., M.S.D. is a highly experienced and skilled orthodontist who was born and raised in Longwood, FL. Her goal every day is to create beautiful, life-changing smiles all while getting to know each patient and family personally. To help provide the best service in Central Florida, she continues to stay up to date with the latest orthodontic technology and techniques. Dr. Wiewiora is also a member of the Arnold Palmer Craniofacial Team where she has the opportunity to give back to the community and work with numerous cleft lip and palate patients.
Dr. Wiewiora received a B.S. degree from the University of Florida, graduating Cum Laude with a major in Food Science and Human Nutrition. Continuing as a Florida Gator, she worked for her Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and was awarded the Dr. Carroll G. Bennett Award for Academic Excellence in Pediatric Dentistry as well as The American College of Dentists Students Ethics Award. She was also inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.
Following her dream to become an orthodontist, Dr. Wiewiora completed her orthodontic residency at Louisiana State University, earning a Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry. She was awarded the J. Jerome Hebert Award for Outstanding Resident, the LSU Health New Orleans School of Dentistry Research Day award, and the James P. Bordelon, D.D.S. Memorial Award for Clinical Excellence in Orthodontics. During her orthodontic training, Dr. Wiewiora performed research on reducing the development of white spot lesions during orthodontic treatment, and her paper has been published in the Oral Health and Preventive Dentistry journal.
When Dr. Wiewiora is not perfecting smiles, she enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband, Lee, who is also a native of Longwood, FL they are high school sweethearts! She also enjoys experiencing everything that beautiful Central Florida has to offer, as well as traveling, making memories with family and friends, reading, cooking and cheering on the Gators.
Dr. Rick M. Dunn received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Central Florida and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the Medical College of Virginia. He completed his orthodontic residency at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. While in dental school, Dr. Dunn received the Burtin N. Rudin Award and was a member of the Sigma Zeta Honorary Science Society.
Since returning home to open his orthodontic practice in 1977, Dr. Dunn has lectured in Japan, Brazil, and France on such topics as invisible braces and treatment of the temporomandibular joint. He has co-authored articles on invisible braces that are published in major dental publications. Dr. Dunn has more than 34 years of experience in the orthodontic field.
Dr. Dunn stays on the cutting-edge of the latest advancements in his field by maintaining memberships in prestigious professional organizations such as the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Association of Orthodontists, the Florida Dental Association, and the Orlando Dental Society.

Donna has worked in orthodontics for over 35 years and for Wiewiora & Dunn Orthodontics since 1983. She is married to her wonderful husband, Dr. Jim Snyder, and has a blended family of five children. Donna enjoys traveling, mission work, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Mayra joined Wiewiora & Dunn Orthodontics in 2014. She has been a Certified Orthodontic assistant for 10 years. Mayra enjoys spending time with her 6-year-old son, which keeps her very busy. In her spare time, Mayra enjoys going to the beach and spending time with her family.
Sherrena started with our practice in 2015, as an assistant and now is the most caring treatment coordinator. She loves spending time with her husband and family. She enjoys going on long walks and exercise.
Lynn started working with us in July 2020. She has about 13 yrs of experience in Orthodontics and at the front desk. Her passions in life include scrapbooking, photography, and journaling. She loves hanging out with her family and friends.
Tonjia has worked for Drs. Wiewiora & Dunn since 1983 and has been in the orthodontic field for over 35 years. She enjoys spending time with her two sons and nieces. Tonjia spends her spare time volunteering for Northland, A Church Distributed. She is proud to serve this wonderful practice in any way that she can.
Debi joined Wiewiora & Dunn Orthodontics in June 2020 to continue her long-standing career of 40 years in the dental industry. Debi and her husband have three dogs and enjoy spending time with family, friends, and the dogs. She enjoys decorating, Polynesian dancing, and designing costumes.
Shandra joined Wiewiora & Dunn Orthodontics in 2011. Shandra and Octavius are the proud parents of their beautiful daughter Sanai. Her dream vacation would be to take a trip to Rome to see the architecture. Shandra loves spending time reading, being outside, enjoying family and friends.
Breanna started with Wiewiora and Dunn Ortho in 2021. She has been a dental assistant for 11 years. Smiling is her favorite thing to do and sharing it with the world. Her everyday goal is to make sure that every patient she sees leaves with a smile.

My wonderful experience with Dr. Wiewiora was above and beyond great excellence. Her entire team showed up and show out for me each time I came for an appointment. Wow, is there such place with outstanding customer service from the moment you walk in the door to the end of your treatment? Well this orthodontist office is that place. I've never been truly happy with the way I've been treated at a doctor's office. I got into the Invisalign treatment here, and when I say they explained everything to the "T" and made me feel super comfortable, they did just that. I wish I remembered everyone's name that walked me thanks process, but I do want to shout out Maribel for being so kind and taking really good care of me when explaining how to care for my Invisalign. Any future work that I made need, will definitely be visiting W&D Orthodontist at the Lake Mary office! And will forever recommend people to this office.

We had a consult here yesterday for my son and I am incredibly impressed with the professionalism and thoroughness of our exam. Dr. Wiewiora explained everything in detail and I feel so comfortable starting treatment. The finance department also was super helpful setting up affordable payment plans! My son is set to start his braces at the end of the month and I really look forward to the results!

I cannot recommend this orthodontist enough. The office staff is so kind and sweet. They are always bright, friendly, and welcoming. You can tell how much they care for their patients. I had a very long journey getting my teeth where they needed to be; braces, jaw surgery, gum grafting. It was not easy... at all, but they always made sure I was comfortable and taken care of. They helped me find all the right specialists I needed, and they were very supportive through the whole process. Been a little over a year now since I've gotten my braces off. I've adjusted well to my retainers, and the final results now are beautiful. Thank you so much to Wiewiora & Dunn Orthodontics for the excellent care and treatment.

I have had my permanent retainer come loose or break many times over the past 15 years. Dunn and Weiwora orthodontists have accommodated my repair needs promptly each time! Each location provides wonderful service in a timely manner! (Special shout-out to dental assistant Shandra!!!) My retainer Placement is unusually high and close to my gums, which makes fixing the retainer and getting my bite back to normal very tough. I always feel bad for the dental assistant stuck with my repair. Today I went in for another repair, expecting a morning full of slow glue grinding until we could get my bite normal again. But SHANDRA nailed it on the first try! Never in 15 years has that happened! She was very professional and obviously very good at her job. Thank you Shandra for a stress free experience!

I've spent the last year + perfecting my smile and yesterday, I finally finished my treatment! Dr. Wiewiora and her staff were incredible through my entire journey, including when I moved out of state. Hands down, the BEST orthodontist office in Central Florida! I had my braces done here and I must say, from beginning to end, the staff here are truly AMAZING! I had 4 years of treatment and Trisha is so nice and a perfectionist at what she does! Trisha treats and cares for your teeth as if they are her own! Trust me when I say, these folks will not let you down! I almost wish I could've kept my braces on much longer just to still continue coming here. If you're interested in getting braces, this place should be the FIRST place you call! Thank you everyone for my new smile!

Where do I begin, Dr.Wiewiora office is the best I have ever been with. Dr.Wiewiora was my 2nd orthodontist after having to get braces a second time and I wouldn't have chose any other doctor then her. The staff at the Lake Mary office is amazing super sweet and accommodating. The facility is very clean, the office is very informative and helpful all around. I would recommend this orthodontist if you want a orthodontist that really cares for your smile
