Many people wonder why a person becomes a dentist. For me, my interests and the encouragement of several people led me to where I am today. As a child, I enjoyed assemblingplasticcarmodelsand liked science. In high school, I had the chance to work for my orthodontist one summer bycleaning up the office in the evenings. I saw how a dental specialist office functionedwell with ateamwork approach.I also experienced firsthandhow the doctor was able to help people improve their smiles and self-confidence.
During college summer breaks fromthe University of Oregon, I performed research at the Oregon Health & Science University School of Dentistry, where I ultimately earned my Doctorate of Dental Medicine. I was determined to become a dentist because helping people stay healthy and working on small, intricate projects blended my passions best!
Dawn and Larissa are our dental hygienists. Together they have over 35 years of experience helping patients return to and maintain healthy mouths. Both are excellent clinicians and gentle in their work.

I'Im definitely want to give a great shout out to Dr. Wicklund for being my Dentist he is very careful and caring to my needs. He has always put my needs first, and he's very gentle and compassionate with folks like me and understands my medical conditions. He works with me to address my concerns. I walked away with very little pain and a whole lit of respect for Wicklund Dental!

Wonderful dentist! I had an emergency and Dr Wicklund quickly got me in and fixed the problem. He is kind asks qualifying question to address the problem and quickly explains everything he is doing while doing it. I did not tell him this but, I have a fear of dentists and I was not scared at all. He was efficient, gentle and left my tooth feeling much better. Thank you Dr Wicklund!

I love having my teeth cleaned here! For all you teachers looking for dental coverage under SEBB, I just called Delta Dental. They confirmed Lance Wicklund is a preferred provider under the Uniform Dental Plan.

Just met Dr. Wicklund over a cracked molar and found him to be an amazing and very smart dentist. He is current on his discipline and very competent. As a doctor myself I have a high bar....he exceeded it.
