Dr. Fundora is the lead dentist at Whole Dental Design. She is an experienced professional with more than twenty years working as a Cosmetic Dentist. She holds two doctorate degrees in the field of dentistry. Dr. F received her Doctor of Advanced Dental Medicine at Nova Southeastern University in Florida. She is a member of many acclaimed professional organizations such as American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association, and Florida Dental Association. Also, she enjoys Cosmetic Dentistry and is certified in Smile Design | Smile Makeover. She is fluent in Spanish and English. She is passionate about great communication and building trust with her patients. In her spare time, she loves sharing her time with her friends, and family.
Dr. Sandra is the Endodontist at Whole Dental Design practice. She earned her first Dental degree in 1997 and graduated as an Endodontist for the second time at Nova Southeastern University in the year 2018. She specializes in the treatment of root canals and endodontic surgeries, management and treatment of traumatic dental injuries and internal tooth whitening. She believes in providing excellent and compassionate endodontic care to her patients. She is a member of the American Association of Endodontists. In her spare time she loves going to the Miami Heat games with her family. She stays current with the new advances in Endodontics by attending innovative continuing education courses.
Dr. Lorena has been helping people to put their best smile forward for the past 10 years. As an active dentist and adjunct faculty at NOVA Southeastern University, she spends time encouraging the importance of periodontal health prevention and treatment to her patients and her students. She completed her residency on Periodontology and a Master of Science degree in Periodontology at Boston University, where she was awarded with the Morris P. Ruben award Scholarship for Academic Excellency and the Richard E. Stallard Award for her research with implants and Piezocision, her residency gave her the specific skills that she needed to help patients affected by gum and bone disease.
Dr. Merino completed his DDS from University of Detroit-Mercy School of Dentistry in Michigan and his specialty training from Nova Southeastern University, where he completed a 3-year specialty in Prosthodontics. He primarily specializes in surgical and prosthetic implant treatment, and has a particular focus on the field of complex total reconstructions. Dr. Merino is meticulous, energetic, and charismatic - the type of surgeon we cherish at Whole Dental.
Dr. Maria completed his DDS & MS degree in the specialty of Orthodontics from University of Illinois at Chicago. After 4 years living and practicing at Chicago in the Orthodontics field she and her family moved to South Florida. Her 20 + experience in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics allows for better outcomes and happier and healthier patients. Dr. Maria is meticulous, energetic, and charismatic.
Dr. Marcel attended dental school at the University of Montreal. After graduating in 1983, he moved to South Florida, where he continued his career in dentistry. Dr. M has obtained advanced training in: Cosmetic Reconstruction, Implant Supported Restorations, Analgesia Sedation, Pediatric Dentistry, Rotary Endodontics, Periodontal Soft Tissue Management and Laser Surgery. He exemplifies a real understanding and love for his profession, and has remained committed in fulfilling his patients ' oral health needs. I am in the worst pain imaginable. I knew something was weird when it only took him 13 minutes to remove my wisdom tooth including the numbing. I have an infection while following the aftercare treatment to a T so who knows if the tools were sterilized . I have lockjaw, a swollen cheek that doesn't seem to be going down causing all of my pain. I know it isn't the e dentist's fault but Carlos Escobar the "specialist" has no bedside manners and no place in this business. It has been 5 days since my surgery and the only way to get prescribed stronger meds is to visit the office. I cant eat, I'm losing sleep because of the pain and the specialist charges $550 to remove a non-impacted tooth with the worse technique I have ever seen. I am incapacitated, inconsolable and quite frankly scarred for life. I've had to miss very important work meetings from not being able to speak because my mouth is unable to open more than a finger wide. Im feeling pressure/pain behind my eyes, nose the entire right side of my face. Bruising in the back of my throat making it hard to swallow. Escobar never once ask me If I was doing ok. After he was finished he said "need a big strong man to remove a tooth on a big girl like yourself" unsolicited comment from a provider. I need the owner/dentist to make it right.

This is the place to go to get your wisdom teeth removed. I was in excruciating pain and they were able to schedule me easily and quickly. I was very fortunate to have an appointment with Dr. Carlos Escobar who is a dental surgeon. He was so patient and kind with me throughout the entire procedure which was removal of four wisdom teeth. Amazing communication throughout and the pain relief once everything was done was worth every penny. The staff is very professional, and they do remind you of your appointment. I entered the office with a lot of anxiety regarding my appointment, and Dr. Escobar had me somehow leaving with a smile. Thank you so much to Dr. Escobar and the staff at Whole Dental for being so pleasant. I will be recommending my friends and family to this location

My go-to. Everyone is nice, it is not super expensive, and they do a good job. Even as I moved 40 minutes away from them, I still go there. It is worth the drive.

They make you feel comfortable, place is clean, and they see you pretty close to your appointment time. They also did not try to sell to me the entire time. My experience for being at a dentist office was pleasant. The receptionists were also very professional.

Went to this office, was waiting for an hour for someone to get seen by a dentist at this place, I called the person I was waiting for asking if they had finished, they said no. I also saw the special for 119 for tooth removal on the website, when you get there they give you a paper say 350 is the total, so this company does the bait and switch. Very unprofessional , will not visit this place as it is unethical in the practice.

Absolutely amazing! The customer service from front reception, to the dental assistants, to the dentists themselves is outstanding!!! They're constanting reminding you about your appointment so you'll never miss it, especially when you're super busy! They're happy to accommodate to any teeth anxiety and it makes you feel super comfortable. They're office is clean and they're cleaning measures are immaculate! 10/10 recommend !!!!! The only Dentist office I'll ever go to as long as I live in South Florida. Filled out a few forms online and this was the first place to call back. Kathy answered all my questions and got me set up. I felt comfortable from the moment I walked in, and the place is nice and clean. Kathy at the front desk is a Angel (give her a raise . But for real though. She's the reason I came in. She called me before any other dentist office did.) I was in and out for my scheduling, which was next week and they even let me come in today instead. I'm usually scared of the dentist but I'm good now. You're all amazing. Thank you so much.

Dianne my dental hygienist deep cleaned my teeth beautifully! It's been 2 yrs since my last cleaning due to Covid. I'm a coffee drinker and I have a tendency to accumulate plaque easily! Beautiful job and great personality! My appointment was on time. Very professional and a very clean and modern office! I had my first visit there for X-ray and consultation a $49 fee. They gave me the $49 credit towards my cleaning fee . Win win ! Excellent care!

Had a great experience. Calling around multiple places for the worst pain I've had in a long time Kat and Kathy were friendly over the phone, when I got here, and each time I called back and when I came for my follow up. Some of the best front desk workers. I called multiple places and Whole Dental was the only one able to get me in same day. Not only same day consult, but was lucky and got an appt to take my wisdom teeth out a couple hours later. Surgeon was great, Dr.Fundora and her team are great, clean facility (important when they're sticking things in your mouth) and their prices remain fair and competitive. Can't wait to be back!

I visited whole dental design after a bad experience at another dentist office in the Davie area. This office has been amazing from the dentist to the office receptionists (cathy is amazing!). The work they've done is phenomenal I've had all 4 wisdom teeth pulled, 2 root canals, a replacement crown, and a couple of fillings done and I'm glad I went here due the way they had a complete plan mapped out on my mouth and broke down completely how they attempt to correct the issues in my mouth!
