This place is pretty good. It seems to me that it's a great dentist office if you already have nice healthy teeth. Unfortunately, I'm not in the category. I really liked this place at first, but after going to a different dentist, I was offered many options to make my teeth look more normal and be more effective for chewing, if I wanted that. This place never did that once, always had me in and out super quick, and just told me, "do your best to keep it clean." I did specifically ask about a chipped tooth, and they did provide me options, but they wouldn't have ever said anything if I didn't ask. I don't know if she works there still, but the girl at the front desk was also usually just kind of short or seemingly in a bad mood. Definitely won't miss her.

My experience/treatment for dental work at Whittier Square Dentistry, has been a very positive and informative one. I appreciate the great staff & dentist, who take the time to explain the issues and procedures required-including costs. I would recommend anyone go there for their dental needs-from children to the elderly. Thank you, Whittier Square Dentistry-you are awesome!

DEFINITELY 0 STARS! I am in complete disgust, in how this dentistry conducts its business! They were my Primary Care Dentist issued by my insurer and I went in for a tooth ache. Turns out, I needed a root canal. I received a pre treatment estimate which totaled about $800 after my insurance. The front desk lady named Janett or Janette did a horrible job explaining the estimate and left me having more questions. So I decided to contact my insurance, to assure myself that the charges were correct. My insurer assured me that in fact the codes they were using were WRONG for that specific tooth and actually OVERCHARGED me by $400. My insurance called this dentistry and spoke with Janette, to clarify their errors and make them aware they were overcharging me. My insurance then contacted me to tell me that Janette was extremely upset but that I was now okay to go back with the correct estimate. I tried calling this dentist, afterward to reschedule my appointment, but they ignored all my calls. I was then able to contact them using a different number, only to tell me that I was no longer a patient of their's. Keep in mind this happened in a span of 3 DAYS. Instead of the dentistry accepting their mistake and fixing them, they decided to RETALIATE against me by transferring me out of their dentistry. PLEASE DO NOT GET TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF BY THIS DENTISTRY, INFORM YOURSELF AND ASK QUESTIONS.

What a great experience every time I go to Whittier Square Dentistry! When I check-in, the staff is always upbeat and helpful. The dentists are first-rate. This time I saw Dr. Yvette Pineda. One of the great things about her is that she was a dental hygienist for several years. She then went to dental school to become a dentist. She knows teeth and gum issues. I love how she treats my family and me. I always recommend this dental clinic to all my family and friends. Every one of them loves how they treat people so well. In the past, I have had Dr. Aaron Hwang treat me, and he is as gentle of a dentist as they come. Don't hesitate to go to any of these dentists. I've seen a few previous reviews, and anybody can have a lousy day. Still, I have never experienced anything except the first-class service.

I have been coming to this dentist for 4 years, never had a problem until this month. Not only did they screw up my appointments, they were very aggressive as a staff, not willing to admit fault for their own actions. I'm sorry if you can't admit fault then why would I trust you taking care of my and my family's teeth... you just lost 4 clients.

I'm really happy I found Whittier Square Dentistry. On my first visit Dr. Winston and staff were calm and low key yet thorough -- but not overly zealous. He took the time to carefully answer all of my questions. Their rates also seem quite reasonable.

NOT COVID SAFE. THEY DO NOT HAVE SAFE PROCEDURES I made an appointment over the phone and the receptionist told me the following: -someone would Meet me and Screen my temp outside -everyone (except patients obviously) would be wearing masks all the time -the waiting room is closed -I would be taken immediately back to the procedure room None of these things happened when I arrived. Here's what happened: -I called when I arrived and was told to come on up. No outdoor temp screening -no one was there to greet me when I entered the office, and I was left to stand in the waiting room (which I was told was closed) -when I said "hello?" A maskless woman came from around the corner, and asked me to please wait. (Employees not wearing masks) -I asked her if she was supposed to be wearing a mask, she responded "I can if you want." I felt that was a very flippant response, and it indicated to me that the people here did not take the situation seriously. Because of that, I left. Lastly, I asked to speak with the dentist about these issues, and they told me he would give me a call. the doctor never called me back. If you're looking for a dentist office that takes Covid seriously, look somewhere else, AVOID AVOID AVOID THIS PLACE. Edit: the dentists office has responded to this review since it is now the top review on their page, but I am editing this review to note that the dentist never called me back to explain the situation. They didn't make any kind of attempt to apologize or even reach out with a phone call. I will edit this review to note if they ever do call me to apologize.
