These tissues keep teeth healthy and strong, and damage to them can affect many other structures in and around the mouth. When decay, infection, or injury weakens these vital areas, endodontists can help. Endodontic experts pride themselves as being specialists in saving teeth, and provide a number of procedures to heal damage to the mouths deepest tissues. Endodontic interventions are designed to eliminate infection and bacteria, restore teeth, heal gums, and more. This not only helps to restore a patients smile but also protects their long-term health.

At Whittier DSC in Whittier, CA, we use the most advanced techniques and technology to help and heal tooth roots, nerves, and surrounding tissue. Endodontists are specialists that continue their education and training after dental school for three years to diagnose and treat conditions specifically affecting dental pulp and surrounding tissues. This additional training and experience with the latest procedures allow endodontists to stop deeply embedded infections, diagnose complex oral health problems, restore oral health after injuries, and much more.

At Whittier DSC, our endodontists use the least invasive methods possible to give patients the best possible results and faster healing times. With dental cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) technology, we can see symptoms of dental and oral health problems with great detail and clarity. We use this 3-dimensional model to intervene sooner and develop the best treatment plan. Our endodontists experience, combined with advanced technology, helps to stop dental problems sooner, and restore a patients comfort and health faster.

This allows us to detect signs of decay, disease, and injury that other x-ray techniques cant. By creating a 3-dimensional view of the area, we get 360-degree visibility of the problem, so we can safely approach it from the right angle. This not only allows us to intervene sooner, but also get the most accurate diagnosis and design the best treatment options and strategies.

When these structures are damaged by bacteria, infection, illness, or injury, they can endanger a patients teeth and overall oral health. Periodontic treatments are designed to remove bacteria and infection, restore strength to the gums, and stop further damage. Periodontic experts at Whittier DSC use state-of-the-art technology and the latest procedures to stop damage and decay and help these vital tissues heal.

Periodontists first attend dental school to obtain the education and experience necessary to address dental health concerns. Then they undergo three years of additional education after dental school to specialize in periodontics. This gives periodontists a more in-depth understanding of the complex issues that can affect the gums, connective tissue, and other structures that anchor teeth. Our periodontists at Whittier DSC in Whittier, CA bring years of education, training, and experience to the clinic, and help to diagnose patients accurately and resolve issues effectively.

Some of the most common periodontic services address bacterial damage to the gums. Over time, bacteria can cause significant damage to the gums, and even cause painful, dangerous infections. Our periodontic specialists in Whittier, CA provide deep cleaning services and regenerative procedures that will remove the infection, and restore the strength and health of the gums. With years of experience and the latest technology, our experts can detect problems sooner to prevent further damage, and resolve complex or deep-set infections.

Infections and bacteria can cause extensive damage, especially over long periods of time, but we have the tools to diagnose and fix it. We use dental cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) to get an in-depth look at the inner structures supporting your teeth, so we can detect early signs and symptoms of illness or decay. This x-ray imaging technology gives us a 3-dimensional model of your teeth, gums, nerves, bones, and other structures, so we can create the most effective treatment plan.

Some of these procedures are routine and most people will go through them at some point, such as wisdom teeth removal. Other procedures are more complex and can be useful for restoring parts of the mouth that have been damaged or weakened, such as bone grafts. Some oral surgical procedures, like a biopsy, are used for diagnosing cancers of the mouth. Our oral surgeons take great care to decide the best possible interventions, using minimally invasive procedures. At Whittier Dental Specialists Center, our patients health and safety is our top priority, and we have the skill and technology to give them the best treatment possible.

Oral and maxillofacial surgeons address issues affecting the teeth and gums, but also work with surrounding structures, including the jaws, forehead, cheekbones, skull, and more. Diagnosing conditions and providing treatment to such important, complex areas requires many years of training and experience. Oral surgeons first must graduate dental school and then complete 4 to 6 years of specialized training. Oral surgeons are trained to address functional as well as aesthetic issues that are making it difficult for you to eat or chew, or issues that are affecting your appearance. With years of experience and education, oral surgeons have the skills necessary to diagnose and resolve many different types of conditions.

Oral surgical procedures can help to restructure or strengthen parts of the jaw or any nearby structures. Sometimes, these procedures can address problems with teeth overcrowding, or remove teeth that have been damaged. Other times, oral surgery procedures are necessary to replace damaged teeth, repair the shape or function of the jaw, or address other issues.

Our oral surgeons at Whittier DSC in Whittier, CA use dental cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) to get a close, detailed view of the affected teeth, soft tissues, nerves, and more. This technology constructs a 3-dimensional view of the patients mouth, so oral surgeons can see the issue from every angle.

This was my first visit with this office. I also had to get both wisdom teeth taken out along with a bone graft replacement. You could imagine the fear and anxiety. Well, needless to say. The staff was amazing. They made my visit so welcoming and comfortable for me. I appreciate the staff customer service. I will definitely recommend this office to anyone. Thank you staff for making my visit so comfortable. I appreciate you.

I was told to wait in the waiting room for the Dr to fill out paperwork before I could leave ... He went into surgery with another patient before signing the paperwork.. and made me wait over 30 mins

Avoid this dental clinic at all cost.Horrible Horible Horible service. Horrible office staff. One only needs to read thebother reviews to see what I mean. Dentist isn't any better either. This place is a butcher shop. Came in for 2 dental implants and they botched the whole thing. Got a bad infection and the office staff refused to call and notify the dentist. The promised to send another script for antibiotics and never did. I had to see another physician to get a script written for antibiotics. I was in excrutiation pain for 4 weeks and they simply ignored my request. It wasn't until one of the post actually fell out that they would see me. Now the dentist says I have a bad infection he has to pull the other post out as well and then let it heal and start all over again in 2-3 months. He freaking crazy. Oh and here is tue great part they billed me already for the work that is not completed. Now I am at the pharmacy and I was told the new pain medication was called in along with a new antibiotic and still nothing. When I call on I get the same gal on the phone whom is the office manager who has plenty of complaints on this forum and yelp. Now I'm being told the doctor whom performed the surgery is not allowed to write prescriptions for anything stronger than ibuprofen. This just keeps getting worse. Looks line I'm a going to have to sue these guys in small claims court just to get a refund. Stay away from his place if you value.y9ur sanity.

This office is very unprofessional, I called them asking to get a dental clearance for one of our patients and they refused. I spoke to Dominique-Biller and she was extremely rude. When I asked to speak to the office Manager Wendy I was put on hold for over 20 minutes.

I'm so thankful that I was able to see a doctor right away. I called late on Thursday and they had me the following day at 11:20am. I was also immediately referred to a specialist and prescribed medication for the infection and pain.

I was terrified to have a root canal after my first experience. Fast forward 15 years, one of my fillings fell out. When I had X-Rays taken, my Dentist discovered a big cavity. I needed a root canal to fix the problem. So I was referred to Whittier Dental Specialists. I was terrified to have another R.C. I was expecting terrifying pain during the procedure. However, Dr. Johnson is one bad a$$ Dentist. The worst of the pain was the injection of the numbing medicine. After that it was smooth sailing. I never felt ANY pain during the procedure. Dr. J is one bad dude! I highly recommend this dentistry. Thank you Dr. Johnson for a painfree root canal.

I'm 71 yrs old & never has a root canal because of the name, sounded very painful. I hated pain but a few days ago I was referred to the specialist because the nerve in the root was calcified. I was petrified but I knew it would not get any better. It was the BEST experience, I was in the chair for 2 1/2 hours, my choice, did not want to come back for the second part. Dr Park was so gentle & patience. I was expecting the worse but I had no pain or soreness,. Some crowns I have had were more painful! Thank you Dr Parks, I have & will continue to sing your praise all over the internet!

Great services, patient and the staff are nice as well. After experiencing a traumatic experience with another dentist, i was afraid to go back And trust a new dentist. But I did, 3 days later. And I'm so glad I did! They were able to do what my other dentist couldn't do, and did it so much better. I felt much more comfortable here. Thank you!
