Dr Saman Edalat Graduated from USC School of Dentistry in 2007. Dr Edalat is a proud member of American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA) and San Gabriel Dental society (SGVDS). Dr Edalat comes from a family of dentists, where talks about dentistry and the latest innovations there, is often heard and discussed at dinner table.
For Dr. Edalat dentistry is more than a profession, even more than a tradition; it is a lifestyle. He recalls a shared fascination with art and science, which drove him and his siblings to pursue dental education. Now, not only do they share a career in compassionate care for others, but also share the Trojan spirit as graduates of the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry.
Dr. Poria Edalat completed his undergraduate degree receiving his bachelors degree in biology at the California state university Northridge, where he graduated summa cum laude. He received his dental degree (DDS) from the University of Souther California (USC). Dr. Edalat is practicing in Los Angeles and is an active member of the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association. Dr. Edalat is a caring, dedicated, and ethical professional. He understands that each patient has different needs and expectations, and therefore feels that all treatment should be customized according to the person, not the tooth. Patients can expect a kind, enthusiastic professional with a genuine interest in you as a person as he guides you through a lifetime of dental care. When Dr.Edalat isn't busy caring for patients, he enjoys an active life filled with family, fitness, and outside activities.

My wife first went to Dr. Saman Edalat 1.5 years ago and she was so satisfied with the results and the care she got from the doctor. Her tooth needed a root canal and crown and still has no problems! My whole family goes to this office now. Dr. Edalat and his staff are fantastic i would totally recommend

This is the first dentist office that I've ever been to where they genuinely listen to what your issues are and they work to get things approved by medi-cal. And they get things done in a timely manner. Since writing this review the dentist Dr has changed and although I did like my original dentist the new one is friendly too.

Dentist was great and very carrying. He asked various times how I was doing during my deep cleaning. He looked at a previous filling I got almost 6 years ago and said it was still good and that he will monitor it. Most dentist's would have pushed me to get the filling re done. I appreciated the honesty.

I have never written a negative review for any medical/dental facility because I never had such a horrible experience. My son has been coming to see the orthodontist here since August of 2019, and because of Covid it was understandable that the 18 month plan for him to wear braces was prolonged. But that does not excuse the lack of communication. I was not allowed in the office due to Covid in 2020. Never received any updates. So a few payments were missed and just last month I was told I was two payments behind. I wanted to know when his braces were coming off because I did not want to continue coming to this office. All of a sudden the braces were set to come off in the next two visits. I make an appointment for today at 3:40pm after I asked for a 4pm appointment. I ended up waiting passed 4pm. Thankfully I didn't need to leave work early. So we show up at exactly 3:41 and the waiting room is full with standing room only. No A/C and no explanation as to why they were running nearly 30 minutes behind. I get up after not being able to tolerate the heat and wanted to reschedule, all of a sudden my son was next. At that point I was done. No apology to anyone for the inconvenience for anything or update as to why everyone was waiting uncomfortably. When I said I would call to reschedule, no apology. The worst customer service I ever had in a medical/dental office. I'm so glad this is not our primary dentist. The best dental office is in Tarzana. Dr. Vic in Tarzana would never tolerate such horrible service. Knowing him, he would have brought out waters and fanned us with a sheet of paper with immense apology. Once these braces are off, we would never return. Not to mention orthodontists and dentists are always changing here so any updates on my son's braces were always different.

I have been coming here for a long time. I have seen different Drs at this office in the past. Today I was pleased to meet Dr. Ahmed. He is very compassionate, knowledgeable and patient. The gentleman at the front desk was very courteous and patient. If you are looking for a dentist, look no further. This is it.

So they sell you on all the work you need and how they can start right away, but when you decline and just want the basic cleaning, they "are going to have to reschedule you to come back in" will never be going back to this place again!

Best dentist I've been to in all my 20 some years of going to a dentist office. I would definitely recommend this office very thorough and quick to let you know exactly what you need. They are not scamming you for money like certain dentist offices.

This is only the 2nd time I've been here and both times my experience has been great. The staff is very friendly and attentive and the doctor is great. He is friendly and explains everything perfectly and never tries to up sell you things that are not needed.
