Dr. Mellor was raised in Colfax, WA. He went to Southern Virginia University for his undergraduate degree where he played football and graduated with a degree in business management. After SVU, he attended the University of Washington Dental School on a military scholarship.
Upon graduation, he started his military payback at Camp Humphreys in South Korea. After he and his family enjoyed two years there, they moved to Maryland where he was stationed at Walter Reed Hospital for another two years. He then decided it was time to come back to his hometown and settle down with his wife, Lindsay, and four kids. He took over the clinic from Dr. Allen Kirkpatrick in July of 2019. He is excited to be here serving the community he loves.
His wife, Lindsay, manages the dental clinic. Shewas mostly raised in Southern Idaho, but attended high school in Southern Nevada. She attended Southern Virginia University on a softball scholarship and graduated with a degree in business management and leadership. Many moves and four kids later, she graduated with a Masters Degree in exercise science- human performance. She is very excited to be settling down in Colfax and establishing some roots here. She has come to love the Palouse over the few short stints they have had living here and is happy to serve and be a part of the community.

I fell and broke my two front teeth my dentist told me that could not get me in until the middle of December. Matt was great they took me right in and did a great job. I would give him a 10 out of a 10 if they had 10 Stars

Matt and his staff are always great. They discuss the treatment options and when treatment is done there is little to no pain. They make going to the dentist a positive experience.

Dr Mellor was able to fix an unfinished, poorly done root canal, finally eliminating MONTHS of pain. I can't recommend this clinic enough; the entire staff was friendly and professional.

I hate the dentist. However, Dr. Mellor and his staff are top notch at easing any trepidations about being there. I will recommend him to friends and family. The downside, seeing a dentist without insurance, but again they were very fair with me, I was happy it didn't cost me arm or leg.

When I went in for a consultation. And was given options for procedures, it was clear what was best for me. The fact that my procedure could be done today was awesome! Dr M and his staff were extremely helpful since the elevator didn't work and walked me out to my waiting car. I wanted to hug Katlyn (sp) but the ground was not level for me to turn and do it. But I wanted to! . I'm a hugger. . Ann
