To that end, were excited to present to you one of our latest, state-of-the-art CBCT scanners: the KaVo Orthopantomograph OP 3D.
In comparison to standard CT or traditional X-ray scans, cone-beam technology is completely painless and does not expose the patient to harmful radiation or side effects. The process is relatively short, simple, and is done in-house. The patient sits down in the OP 3D, at which point a 360-degree rotation image around the patients mouth will be captured. Multiple images will be taken of your teeth, and the final results are ready within a couple of minutes.

Dr. Gray has been passionately practicing dentistry for over 5 years. His adventure into the dental world began at various general dentistry centers throughout South Texas, where he has lived and honed his skills since 2003. Having had the opportunity to work in various dental offices throughout, providence brought Dr. Gray back down to bright and beautiful McAllen, Texas, where he founded WhiteWing Dental.
Dr. Gray specializes in general family dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, smile alignment, dental implants, and more. A faithful believer in lifelong learning, Dr. Gray recently underwent a year long advanced implant training, known as Dental Implant Continuum, at the Baylor College of Dentistry.
Raised in Whitewings own McAllen, Texas, this young man with big dreams set out to make a difference in the world by attending the University of Texas-Pan Americanknown as UTPA then, UTRGV nownext door in Edinburg to study biology. Before long, he earned his Bachelors Degree while working as a dental assistant.
This passion for people and their dental health led him to Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas where he was awarded the Outstanding Achievement in Periodontics by the American Academy of Periodontology in his senior year.
After graduation, Padilla went on to complete a one-year Advanced General Dentistry Residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA). During his residency, Jose treated medically compromised patients, placed dental implants, and became certified and experienced in IV sedation.
Throughout the years, Padillas love for dentistryespecially his respect and admiration for oral surgeryhas only grown. He is dedicated to helping patients achieve their goal of a beautiful, healthy smile.
Outside of WhiteWing Dental, Padilla met his future wife, Brittny, at church. The couple married in December of 2013, and their family still enjoys getting involved at their church. Brittny and Jose are the parents of two little girls, Lunna and Mila, and together, the four love spending quality time with their family, hanging out with friends, rooting for the Spurs, and eating all kinds of interesting foods!
Dr. Jennifer Shawn has been dedicated to compassionate and high-quality dentistry for roughly two decades. Raised in lovely Oregon, Jennifer went to school at Willamette University where she studied dentistry. After graduating in 1999, Jennifer went on to work in fast-paced, high-demand private dental offices in Portland before moving to public health dentistry in South Texas.
Jennifer has spent her career providing excellent, family-focused dental care to each of her patients. Making sure her patients receive only the highest-quality care has long been among Jennifers top priorities, along with her husband and two children.

My experience here was very pleasant. Dr. Padilla did an amazing job! He made me feel comfortable at all times and even helped calm my nerves. Would definitely recommend his services to family and friends.

My mother had an appointment with Dr. Gray to get a full checkup. She had some sensitivity and wanted to make sure she didn't have an infection since she was going to have knee surgery in a couple weeks. She was use to going to a different dentist in Brownsville but need to be seen sooner and this dentist was closer. She was hesitant to try a new place but eventually agreed. Well. . . She couldn't stop raving about how wonder the staff and Dr. Gray were. She said they were so patient and attentive. Answered all her questions and made her feel at ease. Ends up she needs two crowns and they quoted her a pretty reasonable price. So far so good. Great service, great care, great prices.

I took my wife here to get broken teeth removed, they said they couldn't remove her teeth ( isn't that thier profession ) they referred me to another dentist and CHARGED ME $99. referral fee? I was robbed. Not using the referral. Birds of a feather.

White Wing Dental has an excellent and caring staff. Their receptionist, Jessica, was so nice.Their dental hygienist, Rene was first class and did a great job of dental cleaning. Dr. Shawn, the dentist that I saw, was very attentive, caring and first class. She found that I needed a crown and scheduled that for later this month. I highly recommend them.

I was a new patient and was wanting to see DrGray he actually took care of my mother in law in the McAllen location and loved him when I went with her to her appointments. Since then decided to come to this location since it's closer to home poor decision ever. First the front office lady was extremely rude and disrespectful told me I was not going to be seen since my insurance was out of network after I clearly stated I didn't care if I had to pay out of pocket I asked to speak to her manager and apparently the manager was out for the day. She the. Told me to call back another day to speak to management so I did apparently she was out for the day as well. I don't know if they were avoiding me or what the deal was but I tried calling for management 3 times and manager was always not available or not in. I gave up I couldn't believe that they didn't want to accept me over me wanting to pay cash. Dr Gray I will never go back to La Feria location ever again do not recommend!!

Front desk ppl are so kind and greeting. Dr. Padilla, he's a life saver! I've been in so much pain from a problem tooth, went to a dentist in mcallen and they told me I'd be fine for 2 months with antibiotics & ibuprofen 800 until they could root canal. I couldn't stand the pain I almost passed out a few times from it and ibuprofen 800 wasn't enough, I'd wake up screaming and crying. Dr Padilla took me in that week and was careful, thorough, and listened to my concerns. He has done such an amazing job on my tooth that had fractures and calcified canals. I don't mind the drive from Edinburg to la Feria, it's so worth it for the quality work he has done. I'm not going to anyone else.
