Dr. Leavitt grew up in the small farming community of Kuna, near Boise, Idaho. The second of nine children, he learned early on the value of hard work while helping his father and mother run their 80-acre farm.
Having a father who was a high school counselor and a mother who is an elementary teacher, taught him the importance of receiving a good education. This is what inspired him to go on to pursue a career in orthodontics.
Dr. Leavitt received an academic scholarship to Brigham Young University, where he graduated with a degree in Zoology. He then attended the University of Washington School of Dentistry, graduating with honors and receiving his Doctor of Dental Science (DDS) degree.
From there, Dr. Leavitt continued at the University of Washington, earning his specialty training in orthodontics. This program consisted of additional academic education in the areas of orofacial biology, anatomy, embryology, and craniofacial growth and anomalies, as well as, clinical training in all areas of orthodontic theory and practice.

This re iew is for the Parkland office Very informative, courteous, Dr and staff. They spent a lot of time explaining the treatment for my teenage grandson's orthodontic care. All of our questions were answered and we are very comfortable going ahead with treatment .

We love it here, everyone we have worked with has been very nice. Quick to respond for appointments. The orthodontist has been so patient with my daughter who struggles to wear her expander. We wouldn't go anywhere else!

My experience with Whitewater Orthodontic Studios was nothing short of amazing. The office is very clean and welcoming.The staff are all extremely kind and knowledgeable about what they are doing. They always asked me how I was doing, made me smile and laugh when I was there. They let me know what they were going to do before they did it which was comforting to know.I came to them with my concerns about my teeth. Any questions I had were answered and my concerns were addressed in a professional manner.The payment plan worked perfectly for me.
