Dr. Leavitt grew up in the small farming community of Kuna, near Boise, Idaho. The second of nine children, he learned early on the value of hard work while helping his father and mother run their 80-acre farm.
Having a father who was a high school counselor and a mother who is an elementary teacher, taught him the importance of receiving a good education. This is what inspired him to go on to pursue a career in orthodontics.
Dr. Leavitt received an academic scholarship to Brigham Young University, where he graduated with a degree in Zoology. He then attended the University of Washington School of Dentistry, graduating with honors and receiving his Doctor of Dental Science (DDS) degree.
From there, Dr. Leavitt continued at the University of Washington, earning his specialty training in orthodontics. This program consisted of additional academic education in the areas of orofacial biology, anatomy, embryology, and craniofacial growth and anomalies, as well as, clinical training in all areas of orthodontic theory and practice.

We had a wonderful consultation. My child is younger and everyone who worked with him was very patient with him. All staff was friendly and kind. Treatment phases were thoroughly explained and all my questions were answered. Still as wonderful as they day we first came in!!!

I started out when I was 8 yrs old, and honestly I was worried bout starting ortho but the team here made me feel very comfortable. They made the process seem less scary. The team here is funny and works well together, and it's always fun to come in for me. My mother loves havin conversations with the staff and they're all very friendly and awesome. I'm glad my mom had me to go to Doctor Leavitt he and his staff have made me experience super simple. I suggest that more people come to them they are great at what they do and great people for the job. -Aleah

Our family absolutely loves everyone at Whitewater Orthodontics. My oldest daughter & I have both received treatments. We couldn't be more pleased with the outcome of our smiles. Everyone here is so friendly & scheduling has always been a breeze. The office has great vibes, overall. We will continue to go here for future treatments, of our younger kiddos.

I just had the most amazing experience. Everyone in the office was incredibly welcoming and nice. The nice lady(Charlene) explained all the different treatments going over the pros and cons of them without making me feel like she was selling just one. Dr.Andrew was also incredibly nice and thorough. I would recommend whitewater to anyone. 10/10

You can tell this fabulous team really cares about their work. I got braces 15 years ago in another state and my retainer finally broke. No other orthodontist office would take the 20 minutes to glue it back on without paying an obscene amount of money for it. Whitewater not only got me in quickly, but charged a very reasonable price and displayed amazing customer service. Thank you for being truly amazing Whitewater Team!

I just completed my invisilign treatment with Dr Leavitt and his wonderful team. As an adult being embarrassed about my teeth was something I just didn't want to deal with anymore. A wonderful place full of great stuff. Dr. Leavitt is super knowledgeable, thorough, and great to work with. I initially had some braces done a couple of years ago and my teeth moved a little bit and when I came in to get a replacement retainer, they offered to do some adjustments again which I totally didn't expect. Braces are worth every step and I encourage anyone to come here for that adventure, you couldn't be in better hands.

Very friendly staff! I came in very nervous being that I'm 25 trying to get braces they made me feel comfortable and explained everything I needed to know to me. I even got a personal call from Dr. Leavitt after my braces were applied . Very professional and caring.
