Education and Experience :Dr. Nasar earned his degree in Biology and Dental Surgery in 1970. He joined the New York University in 1976, and received his New York State license in 1979. He practiced in New York City for a time before moving to Utica in 1980. Dr. Nasar founded Whitestown Dental Care in 1982. He is a lifetime member of the American Dental Association.
Personal Facts :Dr. Nasar likes going to the gym and walking he always participates in heart runs and walks. He also enjoys giving back to the community and volunteering for charitable programs in various areas. Family is of the utmost importance to him, which is why he especially loves spending time with his 3 grandchildren.
Education and Experience :He is a 2009 graduate of Boston Universitys Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Prior to enrolling in Boston University, he earned a Bachelors degree in Biology from Utica College. After graduating from BU, he attended a general practice residency program at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY. He then worked for 2 years as a general dentist at Whitestown Dental Care.
Afterwards, Dr. Faheem Nasar went on to complete a 3-year combined orthodontics and dento-facial orthopedics/masters of business administration program at the Roseman University of Health Sciences in Henderson, NV. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, and the New York State Dental Association.
Favorite Part of the Job :Liliya loves helping during the doctors procedures by making patients feel comfortable. Also, she enjoys the atmosphere in the office. For her, it feels like a close-knit family.

MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT!! My family and I have been going there for 20 YEARS. I had a crown done in May with a $400 insurance copay. Color did NOT match so the dentist suggested I do 2-3 rounds of white strips to get it to match, of which I did! When I went back my tooth still didnt match so the dentist said I could have it redone. HOWEVER my insurance had changed and they don't accept my new insurance. NOW they say thy CANT HELP ME and that I need to go to a new dentist TO HAVE IT REDONE FOR ANOTHER $300-400 copay!! THEIR MISTAKE AND I HAVE TO LITERALLY PAY FOR IT!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER APPRECIATION AND SERVICE!!

Took me eight months to get a cleaning. I came on my day off because we can't get out of work for appointments. I show up and got turned away because I'm a single dad and had to bring my seven year old daughter with me. No one ever told me about this insane policy until I got there.

Canceled my daughter's appointment due to her medical condition. They claimed this is not discriminatory, wouldn't let my wife accompany my minor daughter and wait in the waiting room. Secretary who answers the phone is completely, totally and utterly unprofessional and rude. Hung up on me and refused to even listen to our situation. Never taking my family there ever again!!

I took my 8 and 9 year old kids for their appointments today and was informed that not only could I not be in the room with the kids for their appointments to receive feedback from the hygienist and dentist, but I wasn't even allowed to stay in the building. They made me leave two minors by themselves for medical appointments. There was never any communication of this policy ahead of time, and only found out when my youngest had already been taken in for her appointment. We made these appointments like 6 months ago, they had plenty of time to inform me. It's ok when the vet asks me to leave my dog alone in the building for her appointment, it is wildly unacceptable to even suggest it for young children. My family will not be returning to this office, and I don't recommend it for anyone with young children.

Terrible customer service! I've been going to this dentist office for several years, and won't be returning. The woman at the front desk was so rude I got up and walked out before even seeing the dentist. Also a high turnover rate of dentist that work there.

Very poor. Staff is rude. Dentist are incompetent. And their prices are outrageous. I have been going there for over 30 years but I will never go there again.

Needed to see a dentist due to the severe pain I was having on one of my teeth. Dr. Nasar and his team were able to see me and perform an emergency root canal the same day. The whole staff at Whitestown Dental Care was so friendly and accommodating that I will be bringing my whole family here moving forward. Note, they also do Invisalign at a very reasonable price.

I was a new resident of upstate New York and desperately needed a dentist. I thankfully found Dr. Naser. Him along with his staff were so accommodating and well knowledgeable. They never once made me (and my husband) feel like they were pushing to get something done without fully informing us and letting us know exactly what is happening. I trusted Whitestown so much , I moved to Atlanta where I could see any dentist but because I felt so comfortable with Dr. Nasar j flew up to been seen again. Thank you Whitestown Dental!
