Dr. Yacoub received his Undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Pennsylvania State University and earned his DMD (Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry) from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2007.
Our office is proud to offer Digital Radiography to our patients. This process emits up to 90% less radiation than a conventional film system and eliminating toxic chemical waste. These are important reasons we invested in this new technology. We also have the most updated ultrasonic sterilization equipment to ensure the cleanest equipment is used on our patients. In keeping with our values of providing eco-sensitive Dentistry, we have prepared to go paperless and chartless.
What got you into the specific practice of Dentistry? I certainly love the gift of being able to establish relationships with my patients. I wanted to go into dentistry because it affords me the opportunity to challenge myself and to simultaneously make a difference by caring.
What landed you into your city and what is that you like about your neighbourhood? I grew up in the Lehigh Valley, and I have always loved it and its surrounding areas. The climate is a perfect place to raise a family, and I am proud to be a member of this community with its wonderful nature-culture balance.
What procedures do you feel your practice excels in above others? We excel with any procedure involving aesthetic and cosmetic dentistry. From veneers to full porcelain crowns, teeth whitening to implants, we have an excellent channel of communication with highly rated laboratories to design the best restoration the first time around.
What are the most challenging parts of your every day practice? Patients dental fear and anxiety have always been a challenge and a reason for most patients to avoid pursuing dental care. Our office offers a relaxed, friendly atmosphere that helps most people overcome dental phobia.
What are the best moments that make it worthwhile? Everyday, I feel honored to be part of my patients pain and healing.There is nothing more rewarding than establishing a relationship with patients and teaching them about their diagnosis and treatment and becoming part of a team that is working towards the well being of our society.
What HMO or PPO providers are you in-network with? Do you offer financing? To help our patients afford our quality dental care, we offer CareCredit and in-office financing. In addition, we are an in-network provider with the following dental insurance companies: United Concordia, Deltal Dental, Cigna, Guardian, Aetna, Blue Cross, Metlife, Dentemax, Principal financial group, Ameritas, Magnacare, Spectrum Administrators, Medcost, Humana, DDS, RLS Dental.
Do you accept any Government programs and/or discount cards? To honor our veterans and military members, we are an in-network provider partnering with Tricare. Also, we offer in-network discounts through Carington P500 discounted plan.

I was pretty disappointed because I looked at the reviews before I made my first appointment. I needed some work, I just wanted to look at options. I know my teeth aren't the best but I wanted to get back on track. I felt like the front desk staff were so nice and the nurses were extremely nice but the dentist and hygienist treated me like, I was a scumbag. I felt like they didn't even want to bother and the dentist basically told me there's nothing I can do and had no options for me. It just felt like they wanted me out of their office, and they didn't care. I felt like they were blaming me instead of helping me to find solutions. I felt very depressed after leaving. Now I'm looking for options elsewhere. I did not review the wrong office . I have a script for surgery from Dr.Yacoub. I'm aware this is the right office.

It was my very first appointment there, but I will say the staff is very friendly, the dental hygienist is very gentle and very informative. I would highly recommend

No 1 is PERFECT!! I'm 63 and throught out my Life time. Including born and raised n NYC. WFD is Compassionate and gentle. They serve many patients and indivual care is still optimum.

If I could give zero stars I would. Coming here has been by far the worst dental experience I've ever had. For starters the woman at the front desk is not friendly or welcoming whatsoever and constantly seems bothered and annoyed anytime she needs to interact with you. I first came for a cleaning, I was not explained anything that was happening to my mouth. The dentist was putting something on the back of my two front teeth and curing it with a light and never told me what it was I'm guessing some kind of sealant? Then told me I had cavities and needed to come back. Didn't tell me which teeth they were or anything. I come back for the 1st filling coming out of there I was traumatized and will NEVER return. Dentist administered the numbing injection I guess he didn't give it enough time to kick in or didn't give enough. He starts drilling and I feel pain. I notify him something is wrong by trying to talk. He disregards me and and proceeds to drill. I feel even more pain and put my arm up while trying to say something with his instruments in my mouth. He disregards and says "it's almost done, you shouldn't be in pain". I felt ignored and like he didn't believe that I was in pain. I felt like the whole procedure was rushed and I was just another number to them. The whole reason I came to this practice was because they took my insurance and had great reviews. Needless to say I'm going back to my original dentist that doesn't accept my insurance to get a second opinion and the rest of the apparent work I need done. **UPDATE** I went and got the second opinion, my dentist said my teeth look perfectly fine besides having some deep grooves and some staining but no cavities. I'm relieved but also very angry because Dr. Yacoub was trying to drill into a perfectly good tooth. Who knows if I even had a cavity in the one he did fill. I feel so disgusted and lied too. If you ever consider coming to this practice please look elsewhere this place is not worth it.

My hero is Dr. Yacoub! I had an old, old set of dentures and researched for over a year, as to whom I felt would be a good dentist. I finally decided on Dr. Yacoub. My new dentures are beautiful and fit so well. I can not thank him enough. He took so much time with me and simply wanted me to love my teeth...and I do! His staff is friendly and makes you feel so relaxed in a really clean atmosphere. If you're looking for a good dentist who cares about you, takes the time to make you happy, is kind, patient, compassionate and is really professional, then Dr. Yacoub is your dentist! I recommend him highly.

Very bad experience. Once the secretary knew I didn't have insurance her actitud changed immediately y started getting more grotesque by the minute. She didn't even want to give me information about dental cost nor payment plan. Even though I'm a different race so are they and they all think the are beyond god.

Most painless dentist Ive been too! Everytime I've gone only one shot vs multiple with my other dentist. They fix the issue the first time no multiple trips because something was not fixed correctly.

I ride a bicycle 25 miles each way to visit this dentist because he is that good. The offices are immaculate, the staff are all extremely professional and the equipment is top notch.
