White Willow Family Dental of Willow Street - General dentist in Willow Street, PA

Willow trees are a symbol of survival, being able to bend without breaking. The willow tree finds its strength, stability and structure from its trunk, the foundation that stands firm against the storms. The branches by extension are flexible and strong, surrendering to the wind without being destroyed.

In our small way, we hope to bring willow trees back to Willow Street. We are strong believers in the power of history, the importance of remembering our founders, and recognizing the journey that got us to where we are.

We secured White Willow during a global pandemic, in the middle of a storm, and because of the willow-nature of our team and its leaders, we did not break. We adapted and only grew better! Our success is in no small part due to the mentorship of our founder Dr. Edward White. Dr. Borowski and Dr. Ngan both trained under Dr. White for many years before buying White Family Dental and transforming it into White Willow Family Dental. And in honor of that strong foundation, we have kept his last name as a part of our office.

Youll know Dr. William Borowski (or Dr. B for short) by the huge smile he wears while seeing patients at White Willow Family Dental. He says, I aim to treat every patient in my chair as if they were a family member, and make their visit as comfortable as possible.

A native of Westminster, Maryland, Dr. Borowski comes from a large extended family. His education began at Shepherd University in Business Administration, and continued at Towson University after the discovery for his love of the Sciences.

Before his Dental Career, Dr. Borowski explored a wide range of occupations including carpentry, where he loved to work with his hands. That, combined with a love of helping others, ultimately led him to obtain his dental degree from the West Virginia University School of Dentistry.

In his free time Dr. Borowski enjoys spending time with his wife, Dr. Ngan, and their fluffy orange cat. He takes pleasure in exploring the local hiking trails or volunteering his time on dental mission trips.

Dr. Tiffany Ngan is a general dentist who believes the best thing you can do to better yourself is to understand your own health. Knowing your mind and knowing your body will help you make important decisions to get you from where you are, to where you want to go.

Given that both her parents are professors at West Virginia University, its not a surprise that she thinks education is so important! Dr. Ngan began her dental journey in public health research. After graduating from Bryn Mawr College, Dr. Ngan had the opportunity to join a grant project funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This project looked at genetic biomarkers in saliva to look for a link between gum disease and Alzheimers disease. This research later led to a partnership with the National Institute of Dental Craniofacial Research (NIDCR) at the University of Pittsburgh, where Dr. Ngan helped investigate genetic inheritance between mothers and their new babies for cavities and other oral health issues.

This project took her all over the rural areas of West Virginia and Pennsylvania collecting data and providing valuable dental education to young mothers. Working on this project really opened her eyes to the greater impact she might have on the dental health of others if she could get out from behind a desk and dive into helping those she cared about one on one.

In dental school Dr. Ngan was active with the American Student Dental Association and the Delta Sigma Delta Fraternity. She also served as chairperson for the WVUs Rural Health Interest Group, a worthy altruism group which allowed students from all different medical fields to provide basic medical screening services and education to rural towns in southern West Virginia.

He came home to Pennsylvania in 1969 to establish his own dental practice. Over the years, Dr. Teschner has been a part of the evolution of dental care in Lancaster County. In 2007; having treated generations of patients for 38 years, he decided to retire. But when you love what you do, you find that you dont work a day in your life. And so, in 2012 he returned to dentistry and cared for patients in both Lancaster County and Chester County.

In the Fall of 2016, Dr. Teschner joined the White Willow Dental Family. Now, patients from Millersville, Strasburg, Quarryville and Lancaster can get the very best dental care from Dr. Teschner in our Willow Street practice.

Requested by Gene Witiak, "Willow Family Dental has gone beyond our expectations as our new dentist. If I were still in practice I would hire everyone I've met... Brianna, Chelsea, Dawn, and Dr. B. We've been treated professionally and with a very caring attitude. You can sense the pride they have in their "practice family" Thanks for being here."

This is by far the best dentist office I have ever been to! Everyone is so friendly and down to earth and makes each visit pleasurable. Jess is hands down my favorite part of White Willow and the reason I come back - she's super friendly, explains everything she's doing in a knowledgeable, clear way, and never makes me feel bad or guilty for not being the perfect flosser. This whole team is amazing, 10/10 recommend!

My first visit to White Willow Family Dental was awesome. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. Jess was super nice and did a full evaluation of my teeth and gums (something my past dental office never did). She explained things I should pay more attention to and gave me advise on how to care for my teeth. It was actually fun to have my teeth cleaned. Jess found a popcorn kernel. I am a happy new patient and scheduled my next visit that day (I never did that with my past dental office).

I do not like going to the dentist due to some painful experiences in past years. Whites Dental at Willow Street is a welcomed change and I actually look forward to my appointments due in large to Dr. Teschner. He is a no nonsense, straight with the facts kind of guy and I appreciate that. He and his staff are really wonderful and I would encourage anyone who has had bad experiences to give them a shot, you will not regret it.

Came for help with a bridge earlier in the year. Dr. B and the staff here were some of the nicest people I have ever met. They really helped me out. One of the best referrals I have ever been given. Will be changing primary dentists.

I came to White Family Dental because my previous dentist retired and have found these folks to be caring professionals with the latest technology to address my every need. They're unique because they really are a "family" in practice, it's not just in their name.

White Willow Family Dental..."We listen. We care." It's a fact, in my opinion. Many thanks to Jessica and Dr. Borowski for making my FIRST visit with them bearable. My fear began to lessen as Jessica calmly did her job and talked me through each step of my dental cleaning. I was impressed with her, Dr. Borowski, the facilities and the technology in place. See you in six months!

Dr Borowski and Phil (restorative dentistry specialist) did an amazing job creating a veneer for my receding front tooth in less than an hour. Now my tooth lines up with my other teeth and it was much less time-consuming and costly than braces.

Dr. Borowski, Phil and Julie have been great! They are so gentle and caring! I have been afraid of the dentist most of my life due to a rough dentist and hygienists in the past. This office is total opposite that! They go at your pace and will stop if you need them to. I used to cringe knowing I had to go to the dentist. Then, I would go home and be totally miserable because it hurt. Today was actually my third visit and my mouth does not hurt! At my first visit, I had an infection, so, that was uncomfortable because of that , which was my fault for letting it get so bad. I have absolutely NO COMPLAINTS at all!! I highly recommend White Willow Family Dental! You will not regret coming here! They cater to sissies like me! I can honestly say, I am no longer afraid of the dentist! I went to the same dentist for years and it was horrible! My old dentist would cluck like a chicken and laugh when I said that I was a chicken to go to the dentist. He was horrible! They do not ridicule you for being afraid or for your mouth being a mess from not going to the dentist for years. In fact, they said the important thing is you are here now and they are so patient and nice. Now, Dr. Borowski, Phil and Julie are my new dental team and I am so glad to have found them. You will love them too...I promise!!!! I never would have put love and dentist in the same sentence before now, but, it is true!

I've only been going here for maybe 2 years and the staff is always friendly! The hygienist that I have been with Phill and Jess are awesome! Both take the time to break down and explain the process of whats going to happen. Dr. Borowski is very nice, gentle and knowledgeable as well. Overall everyone is great as well as the practice.
