Dr. Theresa White is a specialist in Pediatric Dentistry. She was born and raised in Oklahoma. She received a bachelors degree from the University of Oklahoma. She completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry and completed a Masters of Science specialty degree in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As a pediatric dentist she is trained in growth and development and behavior management for the pediatric dental patient.
Dr. White has been a faculty member at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry since 1986 teaching dental and dental hygiene students Pediatric Dentistry. She is Professor and Co-Chairman of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Oklahoma Dental Association, Oklahoma County Dental Association, Oklahoma Association of Pediatric Dentists and the Oklahoma Association of Women Dentists. She is a member of the American College of Dentists. She has served as president of the Oklahoma Association of Pediatric Dentists and the Oklahoma Association of Women Dentists and as Secretary-Treasurer of the Oklahoma Section of the American College of Dentists.
Dr. White achieved Board Certification in Pediatric Dentistry in 1994 and serves as an examiner for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She has the privilege of being the first female Pediatric Dentist in Oklahoma. She sees pediatric and adolescent patients of all ages including infants.
