First visit and it was wonderful. Previously, I had an AMAZING dentist who helped me get past prior terrible dental experiences, but, after more than a decade of being his patient, he sold his practice and moved out of state. I did not like the dentist who took over the practice and so was in search of a new dentist. Before I could find one, my gum swelled and was hurting. I Googled dentists in the area and scoured reviews, and narrowed the choices to 3. This was the first one I called on Fri late afternoon and they were able to get me in for an emergency visit first thing in the morning on Saturday. Dr. Hong is kind and was thorough in his review of my medical history, asking follow up questions. He then proceeded to take an ex-ray and examine my gums. He gave me his diagnosis and outlined my options, answering all my questions. He did not try to sell me on services that I did not need. In fact, he told me to wait and take my time to make a decision. Even though the examination only took a few minutes, he took his time with me and even researched a follow up specialist to see if he was covered under my insurance. He suggested that, even if I decide not to go with that option, it would not hurt to see the specialist and get a second opinion. THAT is true customer service! THAT is a doctor who truly wants to help a patient. I decided then and there that Dr. Hong, DDS at White Plains Dental will be my new dentist. Thank you, Dr. Hong! Had another great experience at White Plains Dental. Even though it's a dental visit, it's always so nice to see Dr. Hong. Honestly. I recommend him to everyone I know. Dr. Hong is super nice/cool dentist. The front desk/ dental hygienist are also superb. The facility itself is very new and modern, you can really enjoy the Netflix show while on a dental chair.
