In Nov 30 for cleaning and missing front filling. Was told broken tooth--Dr not clear in communication back and forth multiple times the filling gone=caused broken tooth. Told due to holiday next appt in Jan. I had to go thru holiday with ugly broken front tooth...no temporary filling or temporary crown... NOTHING. Due to omicron I tried to cancel Jan 19 appt. "We do not have you scheduled on Wednesday". Lost my appt--made in computer and written on 2 appt cards (Jan crown & May cleaning) by dental assistant. SERIOUSLY?? STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS DENTIST!! Incompetent. Lacks good clear easily understood communication skills. Plus my first visit 8/4/2020 Dental assistant ground front tooth with high speed drill after Dr left room "to even it up". Causing bite to be off more.

I visited White Pearl Dentistry in order to have them check an infected tooth (#19, i.e. lower left molar). The tooth was infected two months earlier and had been asymptomatic ever since, so I just wanted them to make sure everything was clear. During my appointment they took a radiograph, which was inconclusive at worst, and then they poked the gum tissue a few times to no effect. That's it. I tried to discuss the situation with them and explore some options, but they didn't really engage me as a person. All they heard was "infection", and that was enough (judging by their own notes, of which I got a copy) for them to recommended a root canal and crown. Whoa. That's thousands of dollars worth of work, over a half-dozen separate appointments, followed by a lifetime of possible complications with the crown, all for a tooth that's not actually giving me any trouble. Nuh-uh, I don't think so. And if it does eventually give me trouble, months or even years after the initial infection, I think it would be faster and safer to extract it entirely. It's a molar, one of eight (after the wisdom teeth); it's not visible, and I can live without it. Anyhow, this was my first and only visit to White Pearl Dentistry. I don't have a regular dentist of my own, and they were at the top of the search results provided by my insurance company's website. Based on this experience, I won't be going back. UPDATE: Turns out the tooth was cracked, all the way down to the root. That's why it got infected in the first place, and that's why it wouldn't have survived a root canal. It needed to be extracted after all, exactly as I thought. And the fact that White Pearl Dentistry didn't detect the crack tells me my evaluation of them was correct. I will still have to go through thousands of dollars worth of work over several procedures in order to get a dental implant to replace the tooth, but I'm more confident now that the right people are doing the right procedures. UPDATE 2: Responding to the response from the owner... Frankly, that wasn't your decision to make. I wanted to discuss options, plural, but you refused. All you did was refer me to the endodontist for the root canal and then sent me on my way. So, given my experience then and your response now, I conclude two things. First, you have a "don't ask questions, we know best" attitude that some people might tolerate, but that I do not. And second, I think you're more focused on maximizing revenue, through rapid turnover and kickbacks on referrals, than on actually doing what patients want to have done.

Presented with a problem of bruxism, "Dr" Nadia recommended a 6 month invisaline treatment at $5k and then maybe we could send off for a custom night guard. This office is not interested in giving you proper treatment; they are interested is charging you for things that do not solve your issues. If you have money to burn, this is your place.

The dental hygienists were very good, but Dr. Nadia was difficult to work with on issues with bruxism. She offered no real help to me other than "wear your night guard" even when I told her that was not helping, and giving me more pain. I've also had some problems with two fillings that she did. I'm glad others have had a better experience, but I've decided to switch dentists.

I agree with all the positive comments. My family has been going there for years, and have had many different procedures. Every one has been done exceptionally. The staff is always very upbeat, knowledgeable, and helpful. What else can I say, but that I highly recommended White Pearl Dentistry.

I was referred to White Pearl by Dr.Nadia's daughter who's a good friend of mine. I wish I would have known years ago when I lost my dentist to retirement.! Any UofM employees on Delta looking for a PPO Dentist? Look no further! Seriously why aren't you making your appointment?! LoL in all seriousness, I fully intend on following her advice and I'm taking my almost 4yr old son here soon for his first visit! As someone whom has gone to the same dentist my whole life? It is very difficult to trust another dentist the way that I did mine. However I absolutely adored my experience there today. They were up front with me & gave me some truths that I didn't want to hear... but I needed to hear; no more monsters noooo!, but her "bedside" manner makes you feel instantly at ease. Medical field there certain nuances medical field dude certain nuances to how she leaves things out for her patient to understand among other things that I seriously appreciate you really don't find a lot of that type of willingness to go above and beyond if its not profitable far too often these days.
