Misti joined our team more than three years ago with 15 years of experience in the world of dentistry. In addition to being a certified medical assistant, she has completed numerous courses on managing a practice. When asked about her favorite aspect of her job, she said her patients! Getting to know people, welcoming kids, and watching families grow is so rewarding for her.
Fun fact: Misti and her husband met at the first dental office she worked at when he came in to repair their computers. Now, they have four wonderful kids and two dogs. As a family, they love to take road trips and watch football.
Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Taylor chose to pursue her studies at the University of Utah. She joined our team over a year ago now and is planning on graduating with a BA in English in April 2022. Currently, what she loves most about her job is meeting our patients!
Since family is the most important thing in the world to Taylor, she loves spending as much time as she can with her loved ones. Outside of dentistry, her main interest is literature. In fact, she has a tattoo of Draculas castle and named her cat Edgar after Edgar Allen Poe!
For the past nearly four years, Danielle has spent her days helping our patients achieve improved oral health and beautiful smiles. Attending the University of Utah and Weber State, she has her Dental Assisting Certificate, X-ray certification, and CPR certification. Working with our team is one of her favorite aspects of her job, and she looks forward to many more years of doing just that!
Danielle and her husband of 22 years have one son together, Zachary. As a family, they enjoy running, camping, and cruising. Kayaking, decorating for the holidays, playing video games, and reading are a few other interests of hers outside of dentistry. Heres something you may not know about her: she has a twin brother and comes from a family of 10!
After graduating from Alta High School, Abbie pursued her studies at the Utah College of Dental Hygiene. Now, she is certified in both dental assisting and CPR/First Aid. For her, the best thing about her job is her amazing coworkers and patients. Away from the office, she enjoys camping with her husband, cooking, baking, watching movies, and running. In fact, she ran a marathon in June of 2021!
After about three years in the dental field, Ariel joined our team. As a certified Dental Assistant, she has loved having a first-row seat at watching patients gain their confidence back through their smiles. Not only did she study at SLCC and Creekside Dental Academy, but she is currently attending UVU!
Ariel recently got married and has a beautiful daughter. A few of her many interests include playing video games, snowboarding, spending time with her family, and riding her motorcycle thats how she and her husband met!
Dr. Hansen was raised in South Jordan, Utah and graduated from Bingham High. He served an LDS mission to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Shortly after, he attended Brigham Young University, where he joined the International Folk Dance Team and met his beautiful wife. They now have 4 energetic children.
He graduated from the University of Louisville with his dental degree in 2012, and shortly after, completed a year-long residency at the University of Utah. He received advanced training in cosmetic and implant dentistry. He loves helping people who are embarrassed or disappointed with their teeth by giving them the perfect smile they always wanted.
One of Dr. Hansens greatest joys is for patients to feel comfortable and confident with their smiles. He knows that fear is one of the biggest factors that keep patients from visiting the dentist. Thats why he is committed to being gentle to reduce anxiety and stress in the dental chair. He is also dedicated to learning about cutting-edge technology and advances in dentistry.

I'm scared of dentist and they make me feel so comfortable. I ask for a X-ray cover to give me a weighted blanket which helps a ton. I was in and out quick on the work. Recommend this place for those that have a hard going to the dentist.

Dr. Hanson is a really good doctor. But my favorite was Abby. She was the person who cleaned mine and my daughters teeth this morning. She is beyond nice, makes you feel welcomed and very informative. I would 100% recommend this place to everyone. Thank you Abby for being awesome! And for a really good cleaning!

I don't typically give reviews but, credit has to be given where credit is due! For as long as I can remember I've had such fear and anxiety about going to the dentist. Through the years because of that fear and anxiety, I lost my SMILE. DR. HANSON and ALL his staff at WHITE PEAK DENTAL in Cottonwood Heights are a true BLESSING!!! Instead of judgments, they give you real solutions to getting your SMILE back! DR. HANSON is INCREDIBLE talented at what he does. As soon as you walk through the front door, the wonderful ladies at the front desk WELCOME'S you by name.
