Dr. Blair White was born and raised in Saginaw, Michigan. After graduating from Nouvel Catholic Central High School, he had the opportunity to walk-on as a wide receiver for the Michigan State University football team. He earned a scholarship in 2009 and was voted by his teammates and coaches to receive the Biggie Munn Most Inspirational Player Award. While captaining the MSU football team his senior season, he received the Presidents Award for the Big Ten Conference Medal of Honor as the graduating male athlete with the greatest proficiency in athletics and scholastics. He later went on to play with the Indianapolis Colts under the tutelage of Peyton Manning. After a 14-year hiatus, Dr. White returned to Saginaw. His friends, family, and community in Mid-Michigan made his decision to return an easy one! His affinity for science and business and his athletic background imparts necessary values relating to dedication, discipline, leadership, and teamwork. With a personal duty to contribute meaningfully to society and create value for people both in his community and wherever else he is able, he strives to create opportunities, initiatives, and outreach programs. In 2019, Dr. White achieved the honor of being Saginaws #1 Invisalign Doctor, and in 2020, White Orthodontics surpassed the previous years goal to be included in the top 1% of Invisalign Providers in North America!
Dr. Whites wife, Karlie, is also from Saginaw. Karlie is a scholar and athlete in her own right, competing on the Northwood University womens basketball team. She received all-defensive team honors her senior season but more importantly, takes no mercy on Dr. White in a competitive game of horse! During her time at Northwood, she earned a triple major in advertising, marketing, and management, and completed her Master of Business Administration. Blair and Karlie have four young children and a large extended family.

Rachel is just the kind of person youd want to talk to at a front desk. Shes friendly, genuine, & funnyand brings a lot of positive energy to the office. She graduated with honors from Northwood University with a degree in Business Management & put it to use in various business & customer service roles before she joined the White Ortho team. She handles the daily office operations, keeps our schedule running efficiently, & is usually the voice on the other end of our phone line, ready & willing to help & always wishing people well at the end of conversations. Shes a plant-lover, writer of poetry, & collector of crystals (shes passionate about astronomy and geology). Archie, Cal, & Daisy-Mae are her three pupswho like to keep her entertained when shes home.
Cristens degree in Dental Assisting from Grand Rapids Community College prepared her for a career in the dental field. She has over 13 years of experience & as the Treatment Coordinator, she takes new patients through the process of starting treatment & provides support & encouragement along the way. Multitasking is her jam (shes married with three children, so yeah)! Outside of work, she enjoys arts & crafts (she raves about her cricut), but shes a self-proclaimed hockey mom through & through.
Teresa graduated from Delta College from the Dental Assisting Program in 1988 & earned an Associates Degree to become a Certified Dental Assistant. She is a member of the American Dental Assistants Association. With the longest tenure at this practice (over 29 years!), she has helped many of our patients achieve gorgeous smiles & remembers the names of pretty much everyone who has walked through our doors. She makes sure our patients are well-cared for in all aspects of their treatmentbut shes also been known to spontaneously prank Dr. White (we loved when she put a U of M bumper sticker on his car! Ahahahaha). Teresa is married with two daughters & lives in Freeland, where she prioritizes an active & healthy lifestyle (with preference to the great outdoors).
Amber loves watching a patients smile graduate from shy to confident. She has an Associates Degree in Dental Assisting from Delta College & has worked in the orthodontic field for 13 yearsthe previous 10 years have been with Dr. Adams and Dr. White. Shes a world-traveler, enjoys time with her husband & teenagers, & loves her 4 dogs (shell tell you that her cat is only tolerated). Other hobbies include reading, biking, & kickboxing. Her conversational skills are an asset to this practice, & she can personally relate to the orthodontic process since she recently finished treatment as an adult (& loves her new smile, obviously)!
Jeanettes Bachelors Degree in Communications & Marketing helped launch her into the creative world. After many years as a stay at home mom & part-time photographer, she came to White Ortho & jumped into the new position of Treatment Coordinator. She absolutely loves taking care of people! Now in her marketing role, she fosters great impressions & interactions with people online through social media & also implements things like brand awareness, fun giveaways, partnerships, promotions, & other creative pursuits. She has 3 kiddos & 1 cute Boston Terrier, & she enjoys nature, travel, reading, writing, & putting together impressive charcuterie boards. Kaitlin is formerly from the Thumb area, now residing in Freeland. She has five years of experience in the dental field as a receptionist, a dental assistant, & a records technician. She loves orthodontics (especially assisting with patient adjustments) but has also proved herself an indispensable asset as a Dental Monitoring Coach & as White Orthos Insurance Coordinator. She works primarily from home now, but has such an important role. Kaitlin promptly gets things done! On evenings and weekends, she enjoys spending time with family & friends, working on household projects, & traveling with her husband & her three Goldendoodles.
Will is studying pre-dental biology at Saginaw Valley State University. He graduated from Carrollton High School where he was involved in Student Council & athletics (he was captain and quarterback of his varsity football team). He enjoys this community & takes pride in his academic endeavors. Hes our 3D printer expert, spending many afternoons in our laboratory fabricating retainers & aligners for our patients. His approachable & friendly personality, forward-thinking mentality, & can-do attitude benefit White Orthodontics immensely. This young man is going places!
After earning a graduate degree (triple-majoring in advertising, marketing, & management), Karlie obtained a Master of Business Administration at Northwood University. She was also a collegiate basketball star at Northwood, playing defensive first team all-conference during both junior & senior years. Karlie & Dr. White have been married since 2012 & now have four young children. Shes a busy mom but still helps run the business-side of things at White Orthodontics!
Sarah moved to Bay City as a teenager. She spent her childhood in Dallas & has lived in many different places: Lexington, Iowa City, & Ann Arbor, where she worked as a high-end nanny. She circled back to Bay City & managed The Public House downtown, amping up her relational & business skills. Shes traveled abroad (Australia, New Zealand, the Dominican Republic, & the Bahamas)Europe is next on her bucket-list. Shes an active runner, even placing in the top three in her age group for half-marathons. At White Ortho, Sarah enjoys helping people navigate the orthodontic process. I can tell were making a difference in their lives. They come in not wanting to smile at all and they leave beaming! It truly changes them and gives them the confidence to take on the world.
Kaitlyns got pep & a lot of experience caring for people! She worked with children for 5 years before her interest in orthodontics brought her to White Ortho. She lives in Reese (born and raised!) & enjoys fitness, reading, & journaling. In college, she ran track & achieved All-America honors in the 3000m steeplechase. She assists Dr. White in the White Ortho clinic, & along with Teresa & Amber, performs routine adjustments while helping ensure procedures run efficiently. She enjoys the buzz of the ortho field theres rarely a dull moment!
