Dr. Aquino and Dr. Lai are both very accomplished dentists on their own, having graduated and completed continuing education at some of the worlds leading dental institutions, but when they come together here at White Oak Dental & Orthodontics, theyre able to provide something truly special for Avenel families. Thanks to their combined skills, patients of all ages are able to get everything they need under one roof, ranging from standard checkups to advanced restorative solutions to personalized orthodontics and more.
Dr. Connie Lai is truly an expert when it comes to straightening the teeth and aligning the bite to create a more functional, beautiful, and healthy smile. She earned her board certification by completing years of focused orthodontic training after she finished dental school, giving her a level of knowledge that you just wont find at your average dental office. With her, Woodbridge patients have more options and can achieve even better results while enjoying a more comfortable treatment experience.
After practicing in New York for a few years, Dr. Aquino chose to return to New Jersey. To this day, he remains heavily involved in continuing education so that he can stay up to date with the latest advancements in the field! Every year, he travels to Arizona to attend workshops and seminars through Spear Education Campus. Hes also completed an implant continuum program in New Jersey and currently has 500+ CE credits under his belt. He is currently working towards his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry and maintains memberships with a local Spear Study Club and the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics.
After completing her undergraduate degree at Case Western Reserve University, Dr. Lai achieved her dental doctorate at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. From there, her educational journey took her to the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, where she completed her Master of Science in Orthodontics and Certificate of Orthodontics. Today, she is Board-Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and regularly invests in continuing education. This includes an Align Intensive Fellowship, which involves using Invisalign/clear aligner therapy to treat a wide variety of malocclusions.

Fantastic all around. Very much a positive experience driven practice. A lot of good things to say. From the front desk, everyone was kind, considerate respectful. The place is really clean, modern, well designed and you even have a TV to watch on the cieling while being worked on. Even the washrooms were even heated. Like that was when I realized Im giving this place 5 stars. Prices of course depend on insurance but from my end, pricing seemed reasonable with my insurance. Highly recommend. Doctors and hygienists were very well seasoned and experienced.

The office was very clean and the receptionist was very pleasant and nice. Overall, I felt comfortable and everyone in the office was very helpful, knowledgeable and explained everything about my X-ray. The dentist was excellent and he explained everything that he did, he also asked me if I understood what was going on. I would recommend this office to anyone that's looking for a good dentist.

Very nice staff that explains everything in detail from the bill and payments. Picture x-rays treatment procedures and after care, and the teeth cleaning was really great my mouth felt amazing for several days most pleasant experience I've had at a dental office ever, not to mention the office looks very high end they have chandeliers and flat screens on the ceiling for patients comfortability I was waiting for the glass of wine lol... I highly recommend
