Dr. Connie Lai is truly an expert when it comes to straightening the teeth and aligning the bite to create a more functional, beautiful, and healthy smile. She earned her board certification by completing years of focused orthodontic training after she finished dental school, giving her a level of knowledge that you just wont find at your average dental office. With her, Woodbridge patients have more options and can achieve even better results while enjoying a more comfortable treatment experience.
After practicing in New York for a few years, Dr. Aquino chose to return to New Jersey. To this day, he remains heavily involved in continuing education so that he can stay up to date with the latest advancements in the field! Every year, he travels to Arizona to attend workshops and seminars through Spear Education Campus. Hes also completed an implant continuum program in New Jersey and currently has 500+ CE credits under his belt. He is currently working towards his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry and maintains memberships with a local Spear Study Club and the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics.
After completing her undergraduate degree at Case Western Reserve University, Dr. Lai achieved her dental doctorate at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. From there, her educational journey took her to the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, where she completed her Master of Science in Orthodontics and Certificate of Orthodontics. Today, she is Board-Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and regularly invests in continuing education. This includes an Align Intensive Fellowship, which involves using Invisalign/clear aligner therapy to treat a wide variety of malocclusions.
