Dr. Stapleton actually started out as an accounting major in college, but he eventually realized that he wanted to do something else with his life. He began to take science courses, which he enjoyed, and also shadowed his uncle for a while, who was a practicing dentist. That experience revealed that oral healthcare and helping people was a true calling for him! He committed to the field as a result and has been passionate about dentistry ever since.
After graduating from the University of St. Thomas, Dr. Stapleton received his doctor of dental surgery degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2005. Afterwards, he also completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2006, which focused on complex restorative dentistry, including dental implant placement and cosmetic dentistry, as well as how to create smiles that function in harmony.
Today, Dr. Stapleton has achieved Fellowship status in the Academy of General Dentistry, which demonstrates a top-tier level of commitment to clinical excellence and lifelong education. He actively attends courses at Spear Education and the Dawson Academy and stays active in a local Spear Study Club alongside other dentists and specialists. Dr. Stapleton was named as one of the top 40 dentists in the country under the age of 40 by Incisal Edge Magazine in 2012.
Dr. Stapleton enjoys time with his wife and two young children. His wife is a general surgeon at Lakeview Clinic. His favorite hobbies include coaching his daughters hockey team, playing golf, triathlon, and participating in the Chaska Rotary Club. He travels to Guatemala every January for a dental mission trip, which is always one of the highlights of his year.
Kelsey has been working in the dental world for nearly 15 years so far, and theres nothing she enjoys more about her role than building relationships with our patients, as well as getting to spend time around such a talented, caring team. Originally from Norwood, she studied at Minnesota State University.
Kelseys husband Andrew is the owner of a construction company, and they have two energetic boys named Everson and Brooks, and as well as two dogs named Maverick and Chandler. In her spare time, she enjoys playing volleyball, gardening, going on walks, and hanging out with loved ones. She also likes to participate in short distance triathlons/duathlons and hopes to do another one again soon.
Ginas career in the dental world spans well over 15 years so far. She studied at Normandale Community College and is also certified in laser assisted hygiene procedures. Today, she really enjoys being able to form close relationships with her patients and help them maintain their beautiful smiles they feel just like family!
Gina currently lives in Jordan with her husband Brad and two sons William and Henry. When she isnt caring for teeth, she spends her time traveling, enjoying her lake home and the outdoors, and being an avid runner. Over the years, shes competed in several half-marathons and two marathons.
Although Sara is relatively new to our team, she is not new to the field of dentistry. In fact, she has two decades of experience! She completed her studies at Mpls Community & Tech as well as Normandale Community College. For her, the best part of her job is that the patients and team she works with are so awesome!
Sara loves spending time with her family, including her husband, two daughters, one stepdaughter, and two granddaughters. She also enjoys watching her hubby play softball, going on walks, watching reality TV, and reading!
With roughly two decades of experience under her belt, Briana joined our team in 2022! As a Minnesota native, it was only natural for her to pursue her studies at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. When asked about her favorite part of her job, she shared that its getting to know her patients and making them feel like they are getting the absolute best treatment.
Briana and her husband, Brian, have two wonderful children. When she isnt cheering them on at sports and activities, she enjoys going for walks or runs, cooking, and staying busy. Heres an interesting fact about her: shes obsessed with sunglasses!

People are so nice here... always greeted with a smile and I leave with a shinier one:) 10/10 would recommend to a friend. Dr. Stapleton & company truly make you feel like they care about your teeth and overall health. And they just moved to a new shiny office with TV's on the ceiling! Fun stuff.

The best dentist I have had! The group at White Oak is very attentive to the patient and makes sure you're comfortable every step of the way. They are super friendly which helps the nerves (if you get nervous at the dentist like some). You can really tell they care about you and want to make sure you're teeth are happy and healthy! I had semi emergency situation with my tooth. I called to White Oak Dentistry not being their patient. Not only I have been seen by the doctor the same day, but also my, not simple, problem was completely solved next morning. I have been fully explained my situation, all options that I had and all my concerns, including financial side. Being in theit office, talking on the phone to Kelsey and Mick, being seen by Dr. Stapleton, I felt like I am their family. Guys, you are such great caregivers! Dr.Stapleton, Alisson, and the entire staff at White Oak Dental are absolutely PHENOMENAL! After spending way too many years at a dental practice that I was never happy with I made the shift to White Oak. WOW! I wish I would have switched much sooner. I can't say enough good thing about White Oak! I have always dreaded going to the dentist and I don't feel that way anymore. Everyone is so kind and professional. I had to have a bit of work done and they always would let me know but never pressure me to get it done RIGHT NOW. At previous offices I went to there was always something wrong and I never could get away with just a cleaning. Never have I felt that way at White Oak. My whole family goes, my kids love it! Even getting more extensive work done like crowns was a breeze. Definitely go see the team (family) at White Oak!

I have been receiving my dental care at White Oak Dental for almost 3 years. When describing the practice and what one's patient experience could be, the following words and characteristics come to mind: Personable, understanding, and caring- you will see and experience these starting with Kelsey via telephone, whether it be for scheduling or something else. These continue at your visit. You are not just a number or a patient. You are a person with a unique history that brought you to their office. And you are treated with respect. There is no judgement on anything. There is only care and worry for you and your dental health...and the desire and drive to give you the best possible outcome. Trustworthy, experienced, and caring (again)- These are words that describe Dr. Stapleton and his work. He is trust-worthy and tries to treat and fix something before it becomes a problem for the patient. I saw this trustworthiness when he fit me for a nightguard to prevent further dental damage due to teeth grinding while sleeping. His intervention has prevented the need for additional crowns or other dental interventions. The extensive experience of Dr. Stapleton is evident through his treatment plans. He is creative in treating a patient and utilizes different approaches to figure out what a patient needs. And also the varied things that can be done to accomplish what is best for the patient. It is clear that what is best for the patient is what is most important to Dr. Stapleton. He truly cares and you will see that in every visit to the clinic, whether it be through him fitting you in last minute for dental pain, or by looking at the pictures of him providing dental care to children in Guatemala that otherwise wouldn't have access to such care. I live in downtown St. Paul and drive all the way to Chaska for my dental care. Yes, there are more than several places that are closer to home where I could receive my dental care. However, I am hard-pressed to think that an office could radiate trust, experience, and care from the get-go like White Oak Dental does
