Dr. Thomas was born in southern AZ. He earned his undergraduate degree at Arizona State University in 1999. He went onto study at the University of Colorado Dental School and earned his DDS degree in 2004. Since graduation, Dr. Thomas has been no stranger to continuing his education. Its important to him and the practice to be consistent and up to date on the latest developments in dentistry.
Currently, Dr. Thomas is a member of the American Dental Association, the Arizona Dental Association, the Northern Arizona Dental Association, the White Mountain Dental Study Club and the Flying Samatitans.
In his spare time, Dr. Thomas can be found in the outdoors. Hes usually hiking, backpacking, or enjoying his hobby of photography. He also enjoys Ken Po Karate. Dr. Thomas also enjoys being involved in the community here. He sponsors the local little league teams and the White Mountain Business Owners Round Table. Once a year however, he goes outside of the community to Central America and provides free dental services to remote areas for the Hirsche Smiles Foundation.

Dr. Thomas was born in southern Arizona and was raised in the small rural farming community of Pomerene. He attended Benson Union High School where he graduated Valedictorian of his class in 1993. After serving a mission to Argentina from 1994-1996, Dr. Thomas attended Arizona State University where he graduated in 1999 summa cum-laude with a degree in Spanish. During his time at Arizona State, Dr. Thomas was also inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Society one of the oldest and most prestigious academic honor societies in the country.
After receiving his undergraduate degree, Dr. Thomas was admitted to one of the most selective dental programs in the country. He was one of just 35 students selected out of nearly 2,000 applicants to attend the University of Colorado School of Dentistry. Dr. Thomas graduated in 2004 in the top one-third of his class with his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, having excelled in all aspects of clinical dentistry. Since graduation, Dr. Thomas has continued his pursuit of knowledge by attending numerous continuing education courses on all aspects of clinical dentistry. Its important for him and his practice to be consistent and up to date on the latest developments in dental practice. Dr. Thomas theme in his career and in his education has been excellence. That attitude permeates every aspect of his life and practice.
In his spare time, Dr. Thomas has a number of hobbies that he enjoys. One of the reasons for his relocation to the White Mountains is his love of the outdoors hiking, backpacking, fishing, and enjoying the wildlife are just a few activities he likes. Dr. Thomas also participates in the AKKI style of Kenpo Karate and is working his way through the varying degrees toward Black Belt. Besides his personal hobbies, Dr. Thomas also enjoys being involved with the community. He sponsors local little league teams and is also a sponsoring member of the White Mountain Business Owners Roundtable. When not participating here locally, Dr. Thomas travels to underserved areas of the world to provide free dental services to the less fortunate with the Flying Samaritans and Hirshe Smiles Foundation.
