I found J. Williams to be exceedingly loud and fast paced like he had too much coffee. He lacks the communication skills necessary when dealing with patients instead intent on showing off his knowledge explaining things irrelevant to the care needed. I don't care what you used to do and don't do any more. I don't need a college course lecture on body parts. I need a simple explanation of the issue and how to resolve it. I don't need a boisterous, short tempered know it all who thinks everyone else is a charlatan and a quack. If you took your time, calmed down, and dropped the ego down a few notches, it may have been a very different appointment. You don't need to be combative with your patients and shout at them. I'm not deaf and people across the building don't need to hear our conversation.

I called and left a voicemail to reschedule an appointment and the front desk lady named Stacey called me back the next day EXTREMELY passive aggressive, condescending, and rude. It is not a good first impression. At least pretend to be nice!

Best dental experience that I have ever had!! The administrative staff is extremely polite and efficient and explained everything regarding my insurance coverage. My procedure for my tooth extraction went flawlessly and literally was over in minutes with zero pain or discomfort. Dr. Williams and his team explained everything throughout the process and followed up later in the day to check on my condition. This is just a wonderful Oral Surgery practice.

Edit:: wait until you're 3-4 appointment and your procedure to leave your review. All is peaches and cream until you start your work, then your left abandoned. I went in with a injury, I was at the local band aid clinic (memorial hospital) prior and they practically gave me enough meds to kill me. So I went here as a walk in. It was a bad injury with a worse situation. I was taken in straight away and treated wonderfully. First visit as many say was great. I was confronted by the dr at this visit, with a mouth full of horrible teeth, a lifetime of dental work, being young and now a new injury, he suggested doing all the work to "take care of me, and give me a beautiful smile as a beautiful young lady" so I was incourages to apply for help thru the state but was later denied. Upon telling him about my denial he offered to help me completely. So he claimed. He would do surgery to remove the rest of the teeth (every tooth in my head) and then set me up with some dentures, or whatever works or needed to be done free of cost per his office and his wife whom handles the other side of things not surgically related. I was elated. Someone wanted to help me??!? Without anything in return. He also stressed he didn't want me to do a review or testimony to his work, because I was so young he didn't want anyone knowing I had the procedure with fake teeth. So he tried to make me feel better that way. I needed to go to his wife's office "eastern slope dental" to get my molds done prior to surgery which was another horrible story in itself. Long story short, surgery was scheduled 12/16/19. It was a long, painful process. Thou he did that part wonderfully, I was put asleep, and was given all I needed to recover peacefully over the next couple weeks. I was told the day of the surgery I would leave with my new teeth. I was woken up, told the surgery was way more intensive than planned or imagined and that I need to heal before placing the teeth. So weeks go by, I heal and return to receive my TEMPORARY dentures. They never fit properly, I couldn't open my mouth without gagging, I could not close my mouth completely either. They were a mess, thou they did look good if I forced them to sit a certain way in my mouth, with my jaw clenched holding back the gags. I called to state this, then they had me come in to "fix" them but did the same exact thing two times, with the same exact result. Then covid hits. They close like the rest of the world. I'm left in limbo, not a tooth in my head, and no teeth to aid me in eating or daily life. After covid, I reach out to get back in there. I'm turned away. I'm told I WAS given a free set of teeth, that I need to call Standish denture for them to get me set with teeth I now had to pay out of pocket for. So I was lied to, promised to be helped and have a beautiful smile at the end of this. I was told this is something he "does" for people in need in the area he works in. That he's done this before in a different area and would love for me to be his first patient to receive the help. Now two years later, I still have no teeth and never have, still can't eat properly, and now am having even more troubles with my jaw. I've reached out to many times, they have all been rude, no promises or words were kept by anyone. And I'm now alone, unable to afford all the work I need to have done at no fault of my own. The infection and the injury was a better situation to deal with. DONT GO HERE!!!!!! especially if your a young, single mother trying to make it in life. They will take advantage of you, make you feel and look worse then where you started.

Poor customer service. They treat patients like they know nothing. No follow through or communication. Didn't tell us they didn't take our insurance or how much our sons appointment would be until we were there already and had no choice but to pay it. Would NOT recommend this company at all. Look elsewhere and travel some it will save you a headache.

My daughter had oral surgery done and was worried about possible infection. She called this office and was told that she would not be seen. She went back to our local dentist and was told it looked relatively normal. Now she drives back to the oral surgeon and he treats her like a second rate citizen. He yelled at her, asked her who she thought she was questioning his work. I can't believe how she was treated by this so called professional. If I was my daughter I would be calling the state board.

The office staff and doctor are professional and informative starting with the consult discussing our options and the aftercare. And when having the procedure done they make you feel comfortable during it and go over the aftercare in detail before leaving. I love that they call you to check in on you later that day. They make you feel like you are part of their family.

Great experience. Dr. Williams is very personable. He spent a lot of time answering my questions and recommended what would be best in my situation. I was nervous about the actual extraction, but his wonderful staff quickly put me at ease. Dr. Williams thoroughly explained what he would do, and I had a shout recovery period. Thank you for the follow up call. That gave me more confidence in your practice. I highly recommend Dr. Williams practice.

Dr. Williams did my first extraction by local only on an abscessed tooth. He and his assistant (I don't remember her name-she was tall and very sweet) did their best to calm my fears and to make an extremely painful situation as comfortable as possible. He worked with my anxiety and fears instead of being frustrated and condescending (which has happened with me with other surgeons and medical "professionals", hence the extreme anxieties). I would recommend him to ANYBODY that needs dental work. I just wish he were closer. I cannot thank them enough for all they've done for me. I'd give 10 stars if it were allowed!

Had an amazing experience. Went in to have a wisdom tooth pulled, everyone was very professional, very calming. Having had bad previous experiences elsewhere with tooth extractions I was being a baby about it. Couple shots to numb me up an, POP it was out, no fuss, no pain. Highly recommend them. Not that I want to get another tooth pulled but I'll be going back there if ever I do. Thank you!

All i can say is wow! I hate dentist never mind a oral surgeon ... well until now. This place makes you feel so cared for and informed. The ladies are all very well versed in the work that they do and Dr Williams is seriously the most talented dental professional i have seen in many years. This clinic is a gem for the north country and we are so very fortunate to have them here. I highly recommend this team if you enjoy feeling like you are part of a family.
