We've had top of the line dental care from this office, which is why it pains me to only give them 3 stars. In August of 2021, I came in with my 3 month old son for a lingual frenectomy consultation (lip tie release procedure) due to difficulties with latch, flange radius, and overall breast-feeding. Due to strict, and understandable, COVID-19 guidelines which were still in place at the time, the main waiting area (Jacksonville location) was closed off and I was greeted in the lobby by a young lady with paperwork which needed to be completed. I had just returned from changing my son in the bathroom, he'd soiled his clothes, so I was carrying those, the diaper bag, my purse, and without hands to take the papers, this employee placed them in and pushed the papers down into the bag I was holding. There was no where to sit to complete the paperwork since the 1 bench in the waiting area was taken. However, this was the biggest problem: I was desperate to nurse my son since he was only 12 weeks old at the time and nursing around the clock. After asking the employee if I could sit over in the waiting area or a small amount of privacy, and a place to sit (at least 12 feet away from any other employees or patients), I was told to wait and that she'd go ask (never a good sign!). So, hands full of bags, baby, and paperwork, I waited for her to return. When she did, I was hit with the "I'm sorry, but due to our COVID-19 protocol......", etc. Long story short - I was not allowed into the socially-distanced area to breast-feed my child, again, there was no where to sit in the small lobby area, and certainly no where I could nurse without every patient entering the office seeing. So what did I do? I went to my car. In 95 degree August temperatures. To breastfeed my son. Outside of this particular experience, my son had a successful frenectomy and improved his nursing. My daughter later received dental work from this office, which we were very pleased with. I would love to communicate with someone, caring and compassionate, from this office to speak with about my experience.

They have been absolutely amazing with my 4year old daughter. She is scheduled for a couple more procedures and she is actually looking forward to going back!

We loved our experience with Dr. White. Our time spent at the office has always been calming and professional. Our kiddo seemed dehydrated and was unable to keep liquids down. I called the after hours number, left a message, and Dr. White called us back very quickly. She helped me get my kiddo back to normal and sent us a text the next morning to check up on us. I highly recommend White & Johnson for any pediatric dentistry needs

My son had an appt today for the first time. It was his first dentist appt and I was already feeling all the mom shame for not taking him sooner but not once did they ever make me feel bad about it. Every person made us feel so welcome and they genuinely seemed excited for his first appt! They were so kind with my son, they explained everything on his level, showed him all the instruments and what they were used for before using them on him. My son enjoyed the whole process of picking out the orange flavor and even getting his teeth cleaned. I feel so much relief and can't wait to bring my younger babies next month.

Our experience at this practice was absolutely wonderful Dr. Halley White was wonderful with my kiddos. We chose to use a pediatric dentist because our youngest has a deep fear of medical personnel Dr. Halley and her staff put our daughter right at ease from the beginning of the appointment through the end of it. I will definitely be using them for her oral care going forward.

My daughter had a wonderful first visit! The appointment was very short and appropriate for her age. They made sure she felt comfortable. We really enjoyed the welcome bag with all the goodies too. It was a very enjoyable visit.

We had a great 1st experience at the dentist for my 2 year old! Everyone in the office was very sweet and made sure she was well taken care of. My daughter was a bit unsure during the cleaning but held out like a champ while the dentist sand Itsy Bitsy Spider :). She was content afterwards and was super excited to get a toy and toothbrush.

Everyone at the practice is very nice. With that being said, you'll pay twice what you'd pay at a general family dentist and my 9 year old just had to have a filling she had there within the last couple years replaced after it randomly fell out. (For a fraction of the original cost, mind you). Not worth the hype, for my kids at least, and we won't be back.

Today was my 4yr old son's first appointment with at White and Johnson's. For starters, the building is beautiful inside and out, with a parking lot that doesn't have you squeezing into tiny parking spots with Other drivers &children opening their doors into your car. The inside is very clean with a sophisticated and upbeat vibe, throughout the entire office. You don't hear the suctions and drills while standing iN the lobby. That was such a nice start to our already Potentially stressful appointment for my 4year old. PLUS there was no hour long wait time to be seen! The waiting causes anxiety that builds the longer u sit, and I've never been to a dentist, where I didn't have to wait 20 minutes minimally to be seen! The staff was really friendly, and didn't give a rushed/stressed vibe that adds to the already anxious patient. The dental assistant my son saw was Laura and she was excellent! Who likes getting poked and stabbed with those harsh plastic xrays at the dentist? I defiantly do NOT! So When My son had to have xrays, I wondered why even try on that little mouth?! While Laura distracted my son with conversation and talk about prizes, she was in and out with the help of another assistant, Latisha, that jumped right in to get ALL 4 xrays done super fast! I had tons of questions and the staff went above and beyond to make sure all of my questions where answered with clarity And accuracy! When the dentist came to check his teeth and xrays, we didn't wait longer than 5 minutes before he came right in. My son was VERY compliant and that's rare! I highly recommend White and Johnson for and pediatric dentistry! They are seriously above the rest! Thorough And WAY above average standards! THANK YOU white and Johnson for making this an exceptional experience for myself and son Ryder!

We took our little girl to White & Johnson PD for her first dentist visit and couldn't be more pleased.The facility is beautiful and immaculate, the staff was so welcoming and kind, which immediately put our daughter at ease. Dr. Johnson was wonderful with her and turned what could have been a stressful experience into the highlight of our daughters day! I would highly recommend anyone looking for a pediatric dentist to give White & Johnson a try!

The ladies did such an AMAZING job with my 6yo at his first visit to their office today!! To say thank you just isn't enough!! He has such anxiety and fear around going to the dentist and any dental work. They were understanding, kind, and had all the patience in the world. They connected with him through his dinosaurs and built trust with him and with me. He came home to tell his dad how nice the ladies were and how much he liked it there. HUGE moment! I can not put into words how happy I was to see my child comfortable in a situation that used to bring such fear and discomfort. It brought me to tears while in the office and again now as I type. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I've had 2 daughters worked on by Dr White! The first one (which was 12 years ago) had a hernia that needed operating on. Dr White coordinated with the surgeon to do her dental work and his surgery at the same time so she would be put under only once! Fast forward to today where she was singing to my 6 yr old daughter to make her feel comforted while she filed her cavities. This touched me so much! She is amazing at what she does and loving with the kids!

Everyone was very nice. They took the necessary precautions during covid, and came out to the car with the paperwork, and were very prompt about it, and super nice. My daughter had an infection, and with their patience and being kindhearted, she did very well. Dr. Halley was very good with her, even the lady who took us in to start (sorry I forgot her name!). They were very welcoming, definitely recommend coming here!
