Stop accepting new patients if you can't reschedule current patients in a timely manner. Services are already paid for. 1st time missed appointment due to an emergency, and you put my child's tx behind by 6 weeks because you don't have any availabilities. Not one availability in the next 6 weeks between 8-5. Are you really that busy or are you just trying to "punish" patients missing an appointment?

All three of my children have been/are patients here -- one finished with treatment, one currently in braces, and one about to get braces. The staff is helpful and friendly, the office is convenient to get to and easy to schedule appointments, and the results speak for themselves. We are extremely satisfied with the care we have received at WGMO. Wouldn't dream of going anywhere else for orthodontic care.

They are the slimy use car salesman of the orthodontist world. The communication is abysmal, and receptionists are defensive from hello. My daughter's teeth look fine. They are straight enough. No communication on her treatment plan. During Covid, parents were not allowed in and we never got a phone call from the orthodontist or the technician letting us know what was happing. If we did call, no one knew. They just said things looked great. Google helped us understand why they were doing what they were doing based on what my daughter overheard. We bought the Smile Protection plan. After our conversation about it, I was under the impression that it was the same process as the first retainer. Nope, go to use it and was told it would take five days because they mail it out to a lab. After, the appointment for scans, it's now "1 week and some days" not sure what that means..... appointment to pick up the retainer is nine days after scans. This was our only option with our dental insurance. We paid the full amount on our first visit. We kept appointments. Did what was asked. The product is satisfactory if it had been billed truthfully. My recommendation would be to go somewhere small where your satisfaction and recommendation matter. They tend to paint a more accurate, truthful picture. Update: Cindy (office manager/ team lead @ Richmond) called this morning and apologized. She told me we had the option of scanning and sending them off OR making them in-house. She scheduled us for tomorrow (offered today, but I was unable) to make a mold and make the retainer in-house tomorrow afternoon. I appreciate her calling and fixing the problem for us. However, WGM had 3 opportunities to tell me both options and fix it at any point. They did not. If they had not sent me a text asking for a review (ironic ), my problem would never be resolved. Why would I think the 4th phone call would be any different? The technician that took the scans yesterday did not offer any other option when my daughter was standing there in person. WGM needs some MAJOR retaining of their call center and their office staff. Clearly, communication is lacking in-house too, since no one knows their own policies. I would hate to think that their policies change based on who you are or how loudly you complain. We ALL pay good money for their services and we should all receive the same.

5. Stars. I got my braces off in 2012 and recently moved to Richmond in December- I used to visit the location in Nicholasville, but due to the move was able to transfer over to the Richmond location and while I've had issues with the Nicholasville location in the past the Richmond location WGM is absolutely amazing. Came in for a broken permanent retainer repair and Dr. Lowdenback suggested I remove the retainer completely as they are trying to do away with them for hygienic purposes- totally understandable. As soon as I came home, after taking exceptional care of my post-braces teeth for nearly 10 years, my teeth started to move. I was so emotional I immediately called back and told them- right then and there they had me come back and fix the problem at no charge. They were able to get me a new permanent retainer on along with a new plastic retainer for me to wear at night. The professionalism and care of the staff was just absolutely jaw dropping. When I called, Lisa and Cindy were so incredibly sweet to me in my emotional state. As soon as I got back in Felicia and Hope (I believe that's her name) set me up with my new permanent retainer and had Dr. Ferguson look over it to make sure it was perfect for me and it was. I cannot get over the great work these people did for me in a time of need. If your drive is less than an hour to this location- make the drive. Had I known they were this amazing up here I would have driven up from Nicholasville all those years ago. Absolutely amazing, so personable and understanding. Great, helpful, bright, and funny staff. I will always be thankful for the work they did for me!

Everyone is welcoming and nice here. They do their very best anytime I come in for my braces, and back when I just had checkups before braces.
