After earning his bachelors degree in biological sciences at the University of Minnesota, Dr. Anderson continued at U of MN Dental School, earning his DDS degree and graduating with honors. He then completed a select advanced dentistry residency post graduation.
To keep an eye on the latest developments in dentistry, Dr. Anderson is a member of several professional associations, including the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association, the St. Paul District Dental Society, and the East Metro Dental Study Club.
Dr. Andersons skills have not gone unnoticed, and hes received multiple accolades, including selection for Minneapolis/St. Paul Magazines Hall of Fame , Angies Lists Super Service Awards, Minnesota Monthly magazine, White Bear Lake magazine, and NextDoor.com.
Dr. EllenSwift was raised in Mahtomedi, MN by her father, Dr. Paul Anderson, and mother, Mary, a dental hygienist. Inspired to pursue a dental career, Dr.Swift earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, graduating with distinction. She previously earned a degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, graduating with highest honors.
Dr. Swift is delighted to be a member of the White Bear Smiles team, and couldnt be more excited to practice dentistry alongside her father. She treats patients of all ages through a wide variety of dental procedures. She enjoys visiting with her patients, considering them her White Bear Smiles family while providing excellent oral health care.
Dr.Swift is a member of the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association, and the St. Paul District Dental Society. These professional associations and an abundance of continuing dental education allow her to better serve her patients while keeping up on the latest techniques and technology in the industry. She is also a member of a local Spear Study Club - a group of like-minded dentists dedicated to education.
I had been referred to White Bear Smiles by a friend, and it was an amazing experience. It was clean & in a very convenient location. The staff was very friendly, from the front desk welcoming me, to the hygienist, to the dentist. I could tell the staff really get along and love working there. Highly recommend!
Dr. Anderson loves his community and makes time for helping others, whether hes supporting the Hope Dental Clinic, the Minnesota Dental Foundation, or coaching youth sports. Outside the office, Dr. Anderson might be found paddle boarding, biking, or participating in a triathlon, and chances are good that hell be with family.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Swiftis passionate about spending time with her family and friends. She can often be found at the family cabin, various workout classes, or trying new restaurants and activities in the metro area. She and her husband, Peter, welcomed a baby boy in March 2020.
