Our goal is to help children, adolescents and those with special needs achieve optimum oral health through excellent and compassionate dental care. As a specialized pediatric dental practice, we take very seriously the responsibility of caring for children. By working in partnership with kids and parents, we believe every child can begin their life with a healthy smile.
Dr. Wheeler completed her dental degree from the University of Kentucky and her pediatric residency at Cincinnati Childrens Hospital. After practicing in Ohio for several years, she returned to Kentucky in 2004 to open her practice because she missed central Kentucky so much. She has two children and loves spending time with her family. She also loves reading, traveling and UK basketball.

Wheeler Pediatric Dentistry is A1 first class and is able to So professionally be adaptive to my child who has a hard time at times with ADHD ESPECIALLY if it is something out of his norm. We've been going to Dr. Wheeler for many years now. My kids really enjoy going, the staff is super friendly, helpful and professional. We trust Dr. Wheeler's many years of practice, she cares about my kids and helping them with all things teeth! My son had many cavities at a young age, I was super nervous but we got through it and his teeth are great now thanks to their help! Great location and short wait times are a bonus....

Very very disappointed! The dentist can't even fix my son's filling accurately for it not to fall out! She did the hole, but can't do the filling accurately. Already went 3 times to do the filling to the hole that she created, and all 3 times after the appointments, the same filling fell out right away! This is unbelievable and so upsetting and just ridiculous!!! And after she did the hole on the tooth, and just after 1st time doing the filling and it come out right away, her response is: we need to do a crown!! No no no no! This is ridiculous! After 2nd and 3rd visit her response again was: we need to do a crown! If you can't fix a filling up the most accurate way for it NOT to fall out, then DON'T create the hole in the first place!!!! This is UNACCEPTABLE! So so very disappointed. Not ok at all. And this is right on his front tooth! Just very unprofessional! AND some of church friends and family members left this dentistry for this same reason. Lots of pressuring into doing a crowns, when it's absolutely not necessary. Just a crooked business model. I'm surprised there is still dentists in these days that misuse the practice like this for their own monetary benefit, while hurting good teeth! Taking advantage of their clients. Absolutely not ok! Creating FALSE business when there was NOTHING to fix on that tooth where she did that hole! He did have cavity on top by gums, but NOT on the side where she did this hole! I didn't give consent to doing this hole in the first place. Absolutely NOT ok! :( So disappointing!

Words cannot express how grateful we are to Dr. Wheeler and her staff for the care they took of our little one and her broken tooth! They fit her in quickly, repaired the tooth expertly, and dealt with her kindly and gently. We will always be grateful fans of Dr. Wheeler and her crew!
