As a parent we have the final say for all medical care for our children and it should be expected that the medical staff will honor our request. I was surprised and disappointed when I took my 14 year-old in for his bi-annual teeth check up and was not allowed to go back with him but I complied reluctantly and it did make me feel uncomfortable. I told the dental hygenisist I did not want them to use any fluoride. I said if you can't guarantee that please let me know now. She said she would mark his patient folder and would honor my request in the lobby. Well after his cleaning when I met the doctor to review his exam (now apparently I can go back go figure) the doctor tells me about his exam and the I ask about the polish and he said they used fluoride. I was so upset Shaunda and Steph lied to me and she snapped at me in front of the doctor and yelled at me told me I did not tell her that. I couldn't believe her tone and her accusations when she didn't follow my request. Then I reminded her in very detail of our conversation and she did NOT apologize. Then she realized she was lying in front of the dentist her boss and she said, "I forgot" Unbelievable!!! so then they patronize me" both the dentist and the hygienist and say, "We can wipe it off!" That's not the point. 1) You don't let me go back with my child 2) You don't follow my request and you could have told me outside in the lobby before you took him by himself 3) You lie 4) You don't apologize. Neither one of them apologized. This is what is wrong here no accountability and can't be trusted. IF we can't trust them with our wishes while they expect us to wait outside then they are not considerate trusted professionals. I have 3 children and we will not be going here ever again.

The staffing are friendly, and Dr. Wexler is Amazing! Office is clean and the atmosphere is kid friendly. I loved how they explained everything so thoroughly and kept my kids occupied by talking to them, making sure they understand what's being done to their teeth. That made them comfortable and willing to get the work done.

Dr. Wexler and his staff are amazing! From our 2 year old sitting in a big kid chair and loving the dentist to our hesitant 12 year old feeling relieved by the care he recieves. They are so kind, patient, professional, and caring from start to finish! So glad we found Dr. Scott to meet our kids dental needs!

I have been taking my two children to this practice for almost 4 years, it's amazing! Dr Wexler and his team are just amazing with my children including every interaction I observe with other children. My son is sensitive to a lot of stimuli and they are very accommodating and kind. When my oldest goes they give choices on the flavor of toothpaste used for the cleaning, and at the end of the appointments they get to pick out a prize, what child doesn't love that! I couldn't think of a better pediatric dentist office in the valley! Thanks Dr Wexler and team!

Dr Wexler and his staff are the best! I called for an after hours urgent issue on a holiday and he called back promptly. They have video games and movies in the waiting room for the kids and the office is always clean. The staff is always so nice! The best children's dentist in the area for sure!

My son, who is almost 3 1/2, has been seeing Dr. Wexler since he was 18 months old (including after a fall that led to losing a tooth), and I'm impressed every time! The doctor and techs/hygienists are SO patient and kind with my son, and know exactly how to interact with him while getting their jobs done. The front and back office staff are all so pleasant, and make us feel welcome every time. Even the office itself is completely geared towards kids, and my son, of course, loves the toys to play with, movies to watch, and prize bins to choose from! I plan to start taking my daughter at 18 months this summer, and would definitely recommend North Scottsdale Children's Dentistry to anyone seeking superior dental care for their kiddos!

I can't say enough amazing things about Dr Scott and his staff. My son has autism and he has been going to him since he was 1.5 years old and now he is 4. Dr Scott has so much patience and knowledge with his disability. It is so comforting to go some place that I don't have to worry about someone not understanding my sons issues. Best dentist around!
