Dr. Wetmore has been practicing oral surgery in Broomfield since 2003. He completed his oral & maxillofacial surgery residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in 1987. He is a graduate of the University of Iowa Dental School. From 1987 to 2002 he practiced in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. The mountains of Colorado finally drew him here in 2003.
Dr. Wetmore is certified in basic life support and advanced cardiac life support. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery and is a diplomate of the American association of oral and maxillofacial surgeons.
Although Dr. Wetmore is well trained in all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery his main interests are in dental alveolar surgery, including wisdom teeth, dental implants, bone grafts, and treatment of impacted teeth and pathology.

Office staff is horrible and probably lost him a lot of business. I'm sure Dr Wetmore is a great surgeon but he needs to clean house. That's it. He will get a private letter from me to explain. We went to an inviting new surgeon and will never refer this office. Poor guy it will cost him. Reading the reviews about his staff I'm not the first.

Dental implant was done today, painless. Doctor and his staff are friendly, attentive and skilled at keeping you distracted while the doctor does his thing. Highly recommend!

Dr. Wetmore is an amazing oral surgeon! I saw him 8 years ago for my wisdom teeth and then again recently for an extraction. He is extremely kind and very gentle! He makes sure you are comfortable before he proceeds as well as making sure you are completely numb so you wont feel a thing! I would highly recommend him to anyone needing oral work done!

I have taken different members of my family to see Dr. Wetmore over the years. He is very good at what he does. Very professional, kind, and just a good man. He is an exceptional surgeon. I would not trust any other oral surgeon to work on myself or anyone I love.

This experience shines through in every aspect of the process as you get your teeth removed. Everything from the prescriptions to the extraction itself was expertly crafted to make things as easy as possible. TLDR: If you need your wisdom teeth removed, this master of his field will take care of you and then some.

My son has anxiety and Dr. Wetmore was amazing. He talked directly to him and walked him through step by step. He was incredibly experienced and did the job quickly and perfectly. He really cares about his patients and loves kids. He also only charged for what was necessary, he obtained xrays from the dentist instead of getting new ones. We had seen a different oral surgeon that our dentist recommended but he was very intimidating and not really clear on the process and he kept adding additional expenses after the visit and my son was afraid of him. I'm so glad we found Dr. Wetmore, he really made this process incredibly smooth and his staff are all very nice too! Thank you!!

I am recovering today after having 4 wisdom teeth removed by Dr Westmore. At 55 yrs old I was concerned about how long before returning to work. Credit goes to the professionalism in this office because 2.5 days or less should be good. Thank you wonderful caring staff.

Long story but my daughter was in pain, distraught and needed an orthodontic appliance removed that was very much stuck. We were at another office and they could not remove it. Tissue had grown over some of the appliance. My daughter already has extreme anxiety about any dentist or doctor. I did not have an appointment and had never been to their office before. They got us in that day. They were cheerful, patient and put my daughter and me at ease. One played her favorite Youtube video on her phone while they applied the gas mask and held it up so she could watch. It was quick and fast. They were pro's at getting my daughter comfortable and getting her to cooperate. I was impressed. If you or your children ever need oral surgery...this is the place!!

We have had five family members, multiple times for various oral surgery appointments. You will never find a more compassionate surgeon along with the most qualified staff , front and back. I would highly recommend anyone needing any type of surgery from simple extractions to complex surgery to call and schedule your appointments here with Dr. Wetmore.

Dr. Wetmore does excellent work and is very good with both adults and children. He has worked with three of my children and provided excellent care.
