Three stars for the front desk being so kind and the dental hygienist was great. The dentist was way too pushy for me to come back. I just came for a teeth cleaning and she spent 45 minutes trying to convince me to get invisiline. Just very pushy.

My Comments about Dr. Sara Bekyan - DDS While she was my dentist, Dr. Sara Bekyan recommended that I have multiple teeth (and a "root tip") removed and replaced. To do everything she wanted done, the cost would have been in excess of $20,000.00. And these teeth were not causing me any pain or discomfort. In my opinion, she was a little pushy at first. However, I made it very clear from my first visit with her that I wasn't going to have teeth and "root tip" (that were not causing me problems) removed until they started to cause me pain and/or discomfort. Her perceived pushiness subsided when I kept repeating my longstanding position - As long as a tooth is not causing me any problems, I will not have it removed until it begins to cause me pain and/or discomfort. So, she finally accepted my position and gave up trying to convince me to have the expensive dental work done. Then my wife required knee surgery for which my wife needed Dr. Bekyan's dental signoff. (I was quite surprised that a person needing knee surgery had to obtain approval from that person's dentist.) So, during my recent visit with Dr. Bekyan, I asked her if she would give me a dental signoff if I needed knee or other orthopedic surgery. Quite shockingly, she said no and not until all of my bad teeth were first removed. For the record, these teeth (and root tip) cause me no pain or discomfort. I chew all types of meat and food without difficulty. I also chew ice cubes, and tap and "bang" my teeth closed (poor social traits), without any problem or discomfort. There is no swelling or sign of active infection. I was very saddened that Dr. Bekyan wouldn't approve me for orthopedic surgery if and when I needed it unless and until I first had expensive dental work. In my personal opinion, Dr. Bekyan came across as being manipulative and uncaring. I wrote Dr. Bekyan follow-up notes about my concerns and she never responded to me. I plan to never see her again. Dr. Bekyan is fantastic. Been seeing her for quite a while now! My teeth are great. No need to ever worry about any pain or discomfort and she is gentle as can be. Her staff is very helpful and friendly as well. If you're looking for a great dentist in the Westchester area Dr Bekyan your person

I had a thorough gentle cleaning today and I am always seen promptly. The bedside manner of all the people is wonderful. Dr Bekyan has a new scanner that displays your teeth on a computer screen. It helps to see the teeth up close and view cavities.

Excellent dental care! I have lived many different places across the U.S. and Sara Bekyan is the best dentist I have had anywhere. She is very professional and thorough and always very informative about procedures and treatment options. (I have needed several crowns over the past few years, being a lifelong candy lover...) On top of that, Sara is very personable and easy to talk with. I actually enjoy going to the dentist now! I would highly recommend Sara Bekyan to anyone looking for dental care. Her staff is also very on top of things and friendly to boot.

Can't say enough about this practice. Sara (Dentist) is amazing and always does what's best for me. I was able to meet Mia the dentist hygienist who is so gentle, and listened to how I felt. I travel far, and will not go anywhere else! That should speak volumes about this practice!
