Dr. Reid is a native of Novelty, Ohio and graduated from University School in 1992. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Lynchburg College in Virginia, where he graduated With Honors in 1996. He obtained his DDS from Case Western Reserve in 2002.
A member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontics, and the American Association of Orthodontics Foundation, and he is Invisalign certified.After dental school, he completed a general practice residency at MetroHealth Medical Center in 2004. He undertook one year of post graduate research at Case Western Reserve School of Medicine, concentrating on tissue engineering to develop human cartilage implants. The work, titled Hydrostatic Pressure Increases Apoptosis In Cartilage-constructs Produced From Human Osteoarthritic Chondrocytes, was published in the journal Frontiers In Bioscience. He earned his MSD in Orthodontics from Case Western Reserve in 2007 after completing a 30 month residency program and writing a research driven masters thesis. During his orthodontic residency, Dr. Reid received the prestigious B. Holly Broadbent Award for Outstanding Research for his thesis. He also shared the clinical award, given to the resident who excels in the clinical treatment of patients.
Dr. HarryShimwas born in South Korea to a family of compassionateparents dedicated to humanitarian missions abroad. He feels blessed to have an opportunity to make a difference in his patients lives by restoring their smiles. He is known to be kind-hearted, but also qualified by his peers and many patients he has treated in the past.
Graduating youngest in his class, Dr.Shimcompleted his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree at Case Western Reserve University. He practiced as a general dentist for several years while completing a Clinical Research Fellowship at Case Western Reserve University. His passion for continued learning has led him to Saint Louis University where he received his Masters of Science degree and Certificate of Orthodontics with honors for the best researchproject evaluating the use of advanced technology (CAD/CAM) for retainers.
In his spare time, Dr. Shim enjoys tennis, swimming, and hiking. He is a big foodie and loves exploring new restaurants. Recently, he has picked up cooking traditional Korean dishes, but does not recommend his cooking just yet. Traveling with his family and friends was one of his favorite pastimes.

My child received care with Dr. Dimassa and we were happy until the Dr. Wenger took over the business. Dr. Dimassa saw my child every visit like he did for all his patience. Although Dr. Wenger like to keep distance and decided not to see his patients and refers to other Drs in his practice which don't have enough experiences. Particularly the one that we saw was fired, probably many complaints from other parents. We pay lots of money for treatments, but the current customer service is just focusing on money not the end results. I don't like to give this kind of feedback, but our experience with Dr. Wenger is not great. You schedule to see him, but every time they schedule a non experienced Dr. This is not a good practice. Save your money and time and look for other more modern practices.

Great service! I had a permanent retainer which needed a quick fix, and they were friendly on the phone, up-front with cost, able to get me in ASAP. The service was great, continued to check in and make sure it was comfortable, and offered to have me back in a week if there were any issues. Highly recommend.

I had my permanent retainer fixed by Melanie at the Westlake location and she was incredible! She was gentle, precise, and gave me good advice going forward in caring for my permanent retainers. Ebonie at the front desk was also very kind and helpful. Overall a great place for orthodontic care!

We love Westside! They are wonderful and have made our children's teeth look fantastic. Nicole is the best! We've been going there for over 7 years and she has worked on 4 of my children's teeth. Each of my children feel so comfortable with her and she helps them to relax every visit. She makes going to the orthodontist pleasant! I wouldn't think of going anywhere else!

As soon as I stepped into the office, I knew I had found the right place and was in good hands for my 3 kids. The staff is so knowledgeable but also so fun. After a few short months, I already can see the change in their smiles and can't wait to see the finished product All staff have been very patient with the kids, especially Melanie. My 12 year old is excited to start treatment here. I'm excited that she's excited, she hates any type of medical office. Office staff -- they're really nice. Seem like they enjoy their work. Dentist -- very knowledgeable and great bedside manner. My daughter is comfortable here. Westside Orthodontics offers incentives for the patients for following through and adhering to the treatment plan. What could be better than earning Starbucks and other popular gift cards? The office is modern. Up to date everything. Offers the latest in treatment options.
