Dr. Kyle Winter is a native Washingtonian who attended Western Washington University for his undergraduate studies. At WWU Dr. Winter earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Following his studies at Western, Dr. Winter attended The University of Washington School of Dentistry where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) and graduated at the top of his class. After graduation, Dr. Winter moved to Olympia and began practicing at Westside Dental.
Dr. Winter is married to his high school sweetheart and is the father of four beautiful girls, Phoebe, Tabitha, Lydia, and Magdalene. In his free time, he enjoys snow skiing, rowing, playing the guitar, songwriting, and reading. He is also active in the community, volunteering at the Olympia Union Gospel Mission, and can be seen singing in the annual Dentists Go Broadway fundraiser for the UGM Dental Clinic. He is also involved in leadership at his church in downtown Olympia, Reality.
Dr. Jordan Buhr was born and raised in Bismarck, North Dakota. He earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of North Dakota with majors in both Health Sciences and Political Science. Dr. Buhr graduated from the Oregon Health & Science University School of Dentistry in Portland, Oregon.
Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Buhr was selected to attend a highly competitive 12-month Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Fort Campbell, Kentucky with the U.S. Army where he trained extensively in all areas of dentistry. Dr. Buhr was then stationed overseas in Stuttgart Germany, where he proudly served service members of the Army, Navy, Airforce and Coast Guard and their families. While in Germany, Dr. Buhr completed the Armys Advanced Clinical Practice training in General Dentistry. Dr. Buhr returned to the Pacific North West for his final active duty assignment at Joint Base Lewis-McChord.
Jordan and his wife Cassandra are excited to make Olympia their home. They have two young daughters, Kathryn and Julia. Dr. Buhr enjoys spending his free time with his family, exploring and hiking in the great outdoors and playing or watching almost any sport.

Westside Dental is awesome. Everyone there is friendly and competent, from front office to the techs and dentists. I've had quite a bit of work done here, and I'm always pleased with the outcome. Novocain sis super scary for me but Dr Winter is so gentle I seldom feel anything at all. Highly recommend!

This was my first visit I was very impressed with the dental exam. I haven't had a really good dental exam like that before. Dr. Winters and the staff that I have met so far are very kind and professional . I am glad one of my friends recommended me to you guys .

I chose Westside Dental, based on reviews, to get my implant. After many years of dental work I can say that was the best experience I've ever had with dental surgery. Dr. Winters was very reassuring and helpful, even to the extent of providing me with a temporary tooth mid-process so that I could look my best for my son's wedding. The staff was always professional and friendly, and they take seriously their patients' comfort, safety and satisfaction. I'm very happy with the end result. Highly recommend.

I'm 68...I've been to a lot of dentist! Most of them only one time because they provided more pain, both in my mouth and in my wallet, than anything else. Westside has a great approach to patient care and it come from the entire staff. Dr. Winters is exceptional and his team is worthy of compliments.

This was my first visit to Westside Dental. I was very impressed. The staff were friendly and professional. Dr. Winters was very thorough and gave me all the time I needed to make sure I understood the plan for my dental care. He was very kind and easy to talk to. I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a dentist.

Great dental office! Always do their best to make me as comfortable (as a dentist visit could be), and have been taking good care of my chompers for a long time! The new Dentist who took over when Dr Anderson retired is fantastic!

I felt well taken care of. They were intentional with making my experience the best one possible. The doctor was wonderful and very engaging, making me feel I could understand the procedure and feel safe. The operation went great. I was in and out. Wonderful service. So glad I have a doctor like him!

I enjoy coming here! My dentist is very personable, and the staff are very friendly. Very knowledgeable as well, I love that they explain what they are doing and why. They use the latest of the latest! Unlike any other place I've been. I also must add during one of my visits , my scheduled dentist had another dentist take over and it was a woman. It made me realize out of my 27 yrs of dental care , it was my first time having a woman dentist. I enjoyed seeing that! Definitely recommend to anyone in Olympia area.

Very proffesional, pleasant experience. Take the time to explain procedures. Didn't feel as I was being rushed with questions I had. The entire staff was proffesional and pleasure to deal with.

The folks at Westside Dental are terrific. Everyone from the office staff to the hygienists to the doctors-- Very nice and very professional . I see them every 6 months for a cleaning. Today though, an old crown needed replacement and I was sort of dreading the appointment. What a pleasant surprise to find that Dr Buhr and Dr Winter have technology tools and processes that dramatically improved the entire experience. Extra kudos to both doctors and to Jules who took the time to explain what was going to be done every step of the way. Highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a great family dentist.

In all my 29 years of living, this is the best dentist I've been to. Everyone is always so professional & genuinely kind. They always go out of their way to make sure they take good care of your teeth. Hopefully I get my parents to switch from their dentist to go here. Huge improvements compared to the last dentist I went to which had people who didn't care & didn't use the best equipment. 10/10 recommend.

WESTSIDE DENTAL - OLYMPIA - Dr. Buhr and Dr. Winter and their assistants and staff are exceptional and very professional! The dentists do perfect dental work with very little discomfort and they are kind and gentle! They are very thorough, organized and easy to work with. Making appointments is easy and they take insurance payments. Everyone in the office is helpful and friendly! We highly recommend them! Been going there for years - always pleased! They are conveniently located in West Olympia.

Westside Dental is awesome! Dr. Winters is calm, competent, and welcoming. My hygienist Heidi is exceptional! I never had such a thorough cleaning and overall exam. The office staff are courteous and well organized. I highly recommend Westside Dental to anyone!
