Westport Plaza Dental Associates is a full-service general and cosmetic dental practice located at the entrance of Kansas Citys Country Club Plaza. You can find us at the crossroads of 47th Street and Roanoke Parkway, where our fourth-floor office in the Park Plaza building overlooks our citys beautiful Plaza architecture.
Our practice is built on the foundation of high-quality dental care with unparalleled service. We strive to provide dental care that is necessary, safe, and tailored to the needs of every patient.

Our dental office conducts monthly meetings to discuss how we can improve our skills as health care providers and our ability to connect with patients.
We have seen the majority of our patients and their families for 20 or more years, and they often choose to come here even when we are out of their insurance network. Dr. Dustin K. Mace was raised in Columbia, MO, where he attended the University of Missouri and studied engineering and chemistry. He then attended UMKC where he received his doctorate from the UMKC School of Dentistry in 2007. After graduating from UMKC, Dr. Mace served as Director of Dental Services at Crider Health Center, a public health clinic near St. Louis, MO. During his six-year service in public health, Dr. Mace gained invaluable experience treating both adults and children with diverse backgrounds and dental needs.
Dr. Mace enjoys a variety of dentistry and makes every effort to stay current with modern approaches to patient treatment. His interests include restorative dentistry, cosmetic and esthetic dentistry including tooth colored fillings, crowns, and veneers, as well as providing comprehensive quality dental care to the entire family. He is experienced with complete and partial dentures, as well as treatment options for replacing missing teeth. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, and the Greater Kansas City Dental Society. In addition, Dr. Mace always stays current with continuing education and exceeds the minimum requirements by the state dental board.
Dr. Matthew Scott was born and raised in Overland Park, Kansas. He grew up attending Westport Plaza Dental as a patient and now is excited to serve the patients as a dentist. Dr. Scott enjoys providing comprehensive dental care in a compassionate and relaxed dental environment. He prides himself on providing quality evidence-based dental care as well as educating patients on the importance of proper oral health. Dr. Scott is Invisalign certified and stays current on dental technology and research. In his free time, Dr. Scott enjoys spending time with his family, attending sporting events, playing guitar, exercising and volunteering.
Dr. Gary Morgan is a native of Kansas City and a graduate of Center High School. He served in the US Navy as an Aviation Electronics Technician before returning to school. He majored in biology as an undergraduate of UMKC and received his doctorate from UMKC School of Dentistry.
Dr. Morgan pursues continuing education to stay abreast of scientific research, as it impacts modern dental treatment. The aspects of dentistry he most enjoys are cosmetic and restorative dentistry and orthodontic treatment with Invisalign. He belongs to the American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, and the Greater Kansas City Dental Society.
Dr. Morgan and his wife have two married sons, one granddaughter, and one very funny Jack Russell mutt named Stanley. They enjoy travel, camping, bicycling, gardening, and snorkeling. Dr. Morgan plays golf avidly, and Dr. Morgan is a proud member of Rotary International through the Kansas City-Plaza Rotary Club.
Dr. Mace is married to his high school sweetheart, and together they have two daughters and a son. He enjoys playing guitar, reading, and exercising. On the weekends, Dr. Mace enjoys taking his kids to the park, traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time outdoors with his family.

Dr. Mace and his team are great! I went through throat cancer and needed some dental work in the process- his concern and practical care were very comforting to me and my wife. The ongoing care has been wonderful with he and his staff taking great care of me.

Great office and staff (from the front desk, to the assistant, and to the Dr)! Everyone was friendly and made me feel as comfortable as possible! The view from the room was also a nice touch! I highly recommend this office to anyone in the Kansas City area!

Incredible dental practice with considerate staff and thoughtful dental team members! I have been going to Westport Plaza Dental for over 15 years and have seen a variety of staff and I've always been treated with respect and taken care of. I'm so thankful to be a patient at this practice! It's evident they strive for excellence and to put their patient's best interests first. I've moved around the KC area and still drive 40 minutes to see them!
